Knot me on ice, Captain(BL)-Chapter 163: Cockblocking
Rhys
"Yes," I moaned, the word heavy and dark in the quiet of the room. "Right there."
My head rolled back against the pillows, my legs shaking from the sheer, electric pleasure coiling between them.
I was caught in that hazy border between a dream and reality, feeling a sensation so sharp it made my breath hitch in my throat.
My eyes snapped open, the dim morning light filtering through the hospital curtains, and I realized with a jolt that I wasn’t dreaming at all.
I woke up to Kayden’s hand wrapped around me, his fingers moving in a slow, torturous rhythm that was driving me out of my mind. Despite the bandages across his chest and the lingering paleness of his skin, his eyes were blown out, focused entirely on me.
"Kayden..." I gasped, my voice cracking as I looked down at him. "What are you doing? Your ribs—Leo said you needed to stay still. You could—"
"Shhh," Kayden whispered. His thumb grazed the head of my cock, sending a fresh jolt of lightning straight to my gut.
He didn’t look like a patient who had just broken his ribs; he looked like someone starving to have a piece of me. "Don’t talk about Leo. Don’t talk about the hospital. Just kiss me, Rhys."
I didn’t need to be told twice. I missed the morning kisses we usually shared—the quiet intimacy before the world demanded our attention.
I leaned over him, mindful of his injuries but desperate for the taste of him. I captured his lips in a deep, bruising kiss, my tongue tangling with his as the scent of his arousal began to fill the room, mixing with the heavy, pine-scented musk of my own.
I reached down, my fingers finding him through the soft fabric of his medical shorts.
I mirrored his movement, my hand closing around him and stroking gently, matching his pace.
A muffled groan vibrated from his throat, and the monitors beside the bed began to pulse faster.
The beep-beep-beep of his heart rate rose in perfect sync with the friction of our hands.
"Leo is going to have my head," I murmured against his lips, though I didn’t stop.
I couldn’t stop.
"I don’t care about Leo."
"Kayden..." I choked out, my voice breaking as his fingers tightened around me.
The heart monitor’s sound grew louder, a frantic rhythm that underscored the heat between us, but neither of us cared.
I leaned over him again, mindful of his ribs as I tasted the hunger in his groan. He arched his back against the mattress, seeking more.
"Mmm," I moaned into his mouth, my head rolling back as a white-hot wave of pleasure surged through me. "Right there, softie... don’t stop."
I gripped him, stroking harder until he let out a long, ragged gasp, his own hand pausing its movement around me.
"Rhys... fuck," he rasped, panting for air. "That was... touch me more. Let me feel you more!"
"Gladly, baby," I obeyed, my movements becoming faster, more urgent.
I was vibrating with the effort of not crushing him, my muscles locked as I held myself above him.
My mouth moved from his lips to the sensitive cord of his neck. I sucked on his skin, inhaling his scent, preparing to mark him—but I stopped myself.
I wanted that to be a special moment, saved for when we were finally alone, away from the stress of the season and the need to hide.
"Rhys, I’m... I’m close," Kayden whimpered, his breathing coming in shallow pants. His hips began to hitch upward, his head thrashing against the pillow as his orchid scent spiked. If anyone walked in now, they would definitely smell him.
"Let’s finish together, baby," I whispered, kissing his lips again. My legs were shaking, my jaw locked as I felt the climax building like a tidal wave inside me.
"Together," I whispered against his ear. "Together!"
I increased the pressure, my hand moving in a blurred rhythm that matched the frantic racing of the monitor.
"Oh, Rhys!" Kayden yelled out, his legs shaking as he came all over my hand—and then the door slammed wide against the wall.
I practically levitated off the bed, stumbling back and nearly tripping over a stray IV stand as I scrambled to pull my shirt down.
Kayden slumped back against the pillows, his chest heaving, his face turning a deep crimson in an instant as he desperately yanked the thin hospital blanket over his lap.
Leo stood in the doorway, his arms crossed over his chest, his expression as flat and cold as a frozen lake. He didn’t look shocked as his gaze shifted from me to Kayden.
"What the hell, Leo!" Kayden shouted. "You should have knocked!"
"This room smells like sex," Leo pointed out bluntly. "I believe I explicitly mentioned that I didn’t want to have to treat a ruptured spleen because you two couldn’t keep your pants on for more than six hours."
Leo stepped inside, pointedly ignoring the way I was sweating and panting. He walked straight to the heart monitor, which was still screaming in a high-pitched alarm.
"Your heart rate hit 160, Kayden," Leo said, flicking a switch to silence the machine.
The sudden quiet was deafening. None of us said anything for a long moment; we just stared at each other until Leo spoke again. "If the head nurse had been here instead of getting coffee, security would be here to escort Rhys out for ’assaulting’ a patient."
He turned his head slowly until his eyes were fixed on me. "And please sit down, Rhys. You look like you are about to pass out," he scoffed. "I saw some of your teammates with the Coach in the lobby. They should be here any second. If they had walked in on that, imagine the terror—all because you couldn’t keep your hands to yourself."
"I..." I tried to speak, but he cut me off. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
"Not subtle, are you now, Rhys?"
I ran a hand through my hair, feeling the heat still radiating off my skin, and walked toward the dispenser to get some water.
I drank two glasses in a row before turning back to him. "Thank goodness you walked in, Leo, and not someone else."
"Mmm, the sarcasm," Leo rolled his eyes. "Next time, I’ll definitely make sure you get caught."
I shrugged, finally catching my breath.
Just then, the door opened, accompanied by loud murmurings and footsteps in the hallway.
"They are here," Kayden said, his eyes lighting up with excitement despite the lingering flush on his cheeks. "The Northern Avalanche is here."
