Elias Warner hung up the phone.
"Elias..."
Renee Perry hadn’t finished speaking, but all she heard from the other side was the dial tone.
Elias Warner drove straight to Annelise Winter’s previous apartment.
"If you don’t want to live in the villa anymore, I have other properties where you can move, so don’t stay in this apartment. This place is not fit for living!"

Annelise Winter opened the car door and stepped out.

In Elias Warner’s mind, he always believed Luna was Chase Perry’s child. She wondered if he would agree to celebrate with Luna.

"Alright, I will find your dad and have him celebrate with you!"

Luna understood why mommy always hesitated to let her be with dad.

Renee sighed, "I was wary of Annelise Winter but didn’t guard against Sylvia Lowell causing trouble for me; it really is impossible to foresee everything!"

Uncle Zeller concurred.

Renee still believed that Sylvia Lowell usually presented herself as an ideal daughter-in-law in front of her.
