That special dinner was filled with an unusual silence. Huan felt an unpleasant atmosphere hanging in the air. He stared at Alexander, who was eating slowly and calmly. He knew the man was already full and not hungry, but was still being polite and keeping him company.
Huan cleared his throat, reached for his glass, and took a drink.
Alexander did not react at all, except to chew lazily.
"Alex, are you mad at me?" Huan asked.
Alexander stopped moving his hands, looked his aide in the eye, and put another piece of meat into his mouth.
Huan could see a slight smirk there. Immediately, he became apprehensive. But before he could speak, Alexander motioned for him to be quiet.
"Finish your food," he said.
Huan swallowed hard, his appetite suddenly gone, his stomach knotting for no clear reason. Luckily, he had already finished the main course.
"Iβm full."
Alexander stared at the cake still untouched on the table. Normally, in the dining room, the waiters would bring out the appetizers, main course, and dessert in turn, but Alexander always asked for the full course to be served in his room. He didnβt want to be disturbed.
And Huanβs dessert was still untouched.
"Finish your cake. Since when did you start refusing sweets?"
Huan stared at his cake. Alexander knew he liked sweets, but right now he just wanted to finish eating quickly and find out what his master wanted.
"Should I feed you?" Alexander said, this time looking him straight in the eye.
Huan stared back intently. "No. Iβm just too worried to enjoy the food."
"Why?"
"I donβt know... you look angry."
Alexander put down his fork. "Finish your food. Then take a shower. I still need to do something to you."
Huan tensed up. "If itβs about that βthing,β donβt even think about it. I really donβt want it."
Alexander glanced at his watch. "You have fifteen minutes to finish your food and take a shower. Be late, and youβll know the consequences."
Damn.
Huan immediately panicked. But when Alexander was in that mode, he knew it was best not to answer or speak.
Alexander stopped eating completely, focusing on Huan, who was devouring his cake and drinking his wine. He smirked slightly.
When Huan went into the bathroom, Alexander asked the servants to clear the table quickly. He then went to the dressing room and took something from the drawer.
The servants vanished with the remnants of the silver-service dinner. Inside the room, the lingering scent of beef and red wine was quickly replaced by the sterile, humid heat of the steam shower.
Minutes later, the bathroom door slid open. Huan stepped out, his skin flushed a deep pink from the scalding water, a single white towel slung low around his hips. He expected the warmth of the bed. Instead, he found Alexander standing by the floor-to-ceiling balcony doors, already fully dressed in a charcoal three-piece suit, his silhouette sharp and lethal against the glass.
Huan was sure Alexander was planning something, which was why he had deliberately not put on any clothes.
But why not in bed?
Before Huan could utter a word, Alexander turned. His eyes were like flint. He moved with predatory grace, closing the distance in three strides. He didnβt embrace Huan, he gripped him by the waist and hoisted him upward.
"Alexanderβ" Huan gasped, his hands flying to Alexanderβs shoulders as he was carried out into the biting winter air.
Huan felt his stomach tense against Alexanderβs shoulder. He held onto his towel so it wouldnβt slip off, holding his breath as the man carried him to the balcony.
The balcony? In the middle of a snowy night like this?
"A-Alex... itβs cold..." His body began to tremble.
The transition was violent. The warmth of the room was stripped away by a freezing gust of wind. Alexander set him down on the brick perimeter of the balcony, a ledge barely forty centimeters wide.
Huan gulped, staring down. Below him, the Salazar estate plummeted several floors into a dark, snow-covered abyss.
"Sit well," Alexander commanded, his voice a low, lethal vibration.
Huan gripped the side of the brick balcony. Who would dare move in a position like this? He held his breath, then his gaze drifted downward.
Alexanderβs room was in a special area overlooking the darkness of the forest. Below was a backyard rarely visited except for cleaning. He was grateful not to see anyone there. He didnβt want to be a spectacle.
"Alex, itβs not a good idea," Huan said softly. If the man wanted to play, this was certainly the last game he wanted to try.
Huanβs heart hammered against his ribs. He felt the rough, icy brick against his damp thighs intensely. He was shivering, his breath hitching in the cold, but the look in Alexanderβs eyes was more terrifying than the frost.
Alexander reached into his pocket and pulled out a length of soft black rope. He knelt between Huanβs knees. With professional, cold efficiency, he spread Huanβs legs wide, looping the cord around his ankles and securing them to the iron railing below the brick ledge.
At least, if Huan fell, the rope would hold him.
"Alexander, itβs freezing," Huan whispered again, his knuckles white as he gripped the ledge behind him. He watched Alexander pull his other leg in the opposite direction, spreading him even wider. He was still trying to keep his towel in place.
"Youβll be hot enough soon," Alexander murmured, his gloved hands moving to Huanβs wrists. He didnβt let Huan hold the ledge for safety. Instead, he pulled Huanβs arms back, binding his wrists together behind his back.
"No, Alex, you wonβt throw me away from here, right?" Huanβs voice was low but beginning to tremble. He knew how crazy the man could be.
Huan was now spread-eagled and defenseless on a narrow strip of masonry, floors above the ground. Alexander stood, his suit now unbuttoned, looming over him like a monolith. He leaned in, his face inches from Huanβs.
"Now. Letβs talk about Felix."
Huan gulped. His face flushed. He knew what had driven the man to madness like this.
"There is no Felix," Huan breathed, his teeth beginning to chatter. "I told you... I made him up to see if youβd care."
"Really? You wanted to see me jealous?" Alexanderβs hand moved to Huanβs chest, his palm flat against the frantic thud of his heart.
Suddenly, he pushed.
"Aaargh!" Huan let out a strangled cry as his upper body was forced back.
"A-Alex!!" He was now lying flat on the cold brick railing, his bound hands trapped beneath him. His head hung slightly over the edge, the terrifying view of the dark garden sixty feet below spinning in his vision. The wind whipped across his bare skin, biting like a thousand needles.
His heart pounded as the rope around his ankles pulled tight, his last line of safety.
"A-Alex, please," Huan gasped, his voice thin and ragged. The rope bit into his wrists as his weight pressed down on them. "IβI acted wrong. Iβm sorry. I didnβt think it through."
"You wouldnβt just take the name Felix. So who is he?" Alexander asked, his voice calm and deadly cold.
Huanβs breath quickened. "I told you, there is no Felix. I made it up! Do I ever lie to you?"
Alexander leaned down, the heat of his breath a mocking contrast to the frost on Huanβs six pack stomach. "You tried to extort my jealousy with a ghost. You wanted to know what Iβd do if someone else had their mouth on you."
"No, no. I was really wrong. Please..." Huan begged, panic setting in.
Alexanderβs hand moved to Huanβs throat, his thumb pressing just hard enough to make his vision swim with vertigo and oxygen deprivation.
Huan held his breath as calmly as possible, closing his eyes. His face flushed as oxygen stopped flowing. He struggled for a moment before Alexander released him.
Huan gasped, drawing in as much air as he could.
"F-forgive me, Master," Huan whispered, short of breath.
His eyes were blurry, his head tilted back, staring downward. His face was pale, reflecting the terrifying height. Usually, he was the one in Alexanderβs position, gripping victims and threatening them for Salazarβs benefit. But this time, he was the victim, and it was not pleasant.
"I wonβt survive the fall, Alexander. Please. Pull me back."
"Youβre not going to fall, Huan. As long as the rope holds you," Alexander murmured, his voice dropping to a seductive, lethal silk. "But I want you to feel exactly how much I own you. Every inch of skin, every breath you take, and even the fear in your gut. Itβs all mine."
Alexander removed the last covering from Huanβs body, tossing the towel into the air. It floated dramatically among the snowflakes.
Huan held his breath, his body trembling from cold and fear. He had known Alexander long enough to know the man could kill him at any moment.
Alexander gripped Huanβs inner thighs, his fingers like ice against flushed skin, and spread him even wider, the ropes groaning.
"Alexander... Master, I am... I am terrified. Please, I beg for your mercy."
"This is my mercy," Alexander grinned.
He stood between Huanβs spread, bound legs and leaned in. When his mouth finally made contact, the heat was so sudden and intense that Huan let out a high, broken cry snatched away by the wind. It was agonizing sensory overload.
Above him, the freezing winter air bit at his chest. Below him, the rough, icy brick scraped his back. And at the center of it all was the searing heat of Alexanderβs mouth.
"A-aahhh!"
Alexander was not gentle. He used his tongue and relentless pressure to remind Huan of his place, sucking with rhythmic force as his hands anchored Huanβs hips to the ledge.
"Ngh... Ahhh, Master!" Huanβs body bucked, his bound wrists grinding against the brick. The sensation of being devoured while staring at his own potential death was a twisted, overwhelming aphrodisiac.
"Iβm... Iβm going to... Master, please, pull me in!"
"No," Alexander muttered, pulling back just enough to look up at Huanβs pale, tear-streaked face. "Do you still want to tell me about Felix? Do you want to tell me how heβd touch you?"
"No! I donβt want to try you again," Huan sobbed, breath hitching. "Only you. I am yours... your aide, your slave... anything you want. Just donβt let go. Please, Master... donβt let me go."
Alexanderβs eyes flashed with dark triumph. He dove back down, increasing the pace. He was relentless, driving Huan toward a peak that felt like execution. Each time Huan tried to curl inward, Alexander crushed him back against the narrow ledge.
Huanβs world narrowed to Alexanderβs mouth and the knowledge of the drop beneath him. The climax hit like lightning. His body went rigid, his bound hands clenching, his head snapping back as a guttural cry tore from his throat. His muscles twitched as the sensation overtook him.
Alexander lingered, finishing him off with slow, possessive movements before finally standing. He wiped his mouth with the back of his gloved hand, looking down at the shivering mess beneath him.
"The next time you think about lying to me, Huan," Alexander said coldly, "remember that I can make you feel this way in the dark, too. Without the ropes."
Alexander sliced through the cords with a pocket knife, then hauled Huan up from the ledge and threw him over his shoulder like a sack of grain, carrying him back into the warmth of the room.
"Iβm sorry... forgive me..." Huan whispered into Alexanderβs back.
"Iβll think about it," Alexander replied, kicking the balcony doors shut. "But first, weβre going back to the shower. Iβm not done with you yet."
