Leave Me Alone, Big Brothers! [BL]-Chapter 91: Break the Silence
Meanwhile, Zane’s heart was pounding because he was thinking about Nathan being in his car and them being alone together again. He didn’t understand why that thought made him happy.
Then the school bell rang. The students immediately scattered outside.
Nathan looked at Zane. "Wait for me in the car. I have to talk to Nael. I don’t want him waiting for me," he said.
Nael couldn’t ask Jack to accompany him because the man seemed to have been given a special task by Alexander, so they had no choice but to share Louis again.
Nathan walked to Nael’s classroom. The students in Class XII-A scattered. They looked surprised to see Nathan there, but said nothing and quickly left.
Nathan didn’t care. He looked around for Nael, but the classroom was empty.
Where was that kid?
Suddenly, a voice startled him.
Nathan turned around and saw a girl standing there. "Hey, are you looking for something?"
Nathan nodded. "I’m looking for Nael."
The girl understood immediately. "I saw him leaving toward the locker room earlier. Maybe he went home. Didn’t you guys go home together?"
Nathan took a breath and nodded. "Okay then, thanks." Without another word, he immediately walked toward the lockers.
But his sharp eyes were fixed on the corner of the empty corridor. From his direction, a large trophy cabinet blocked his view, but he could see two familiar figures.
Nick and Jonas.
It was them again. He clicked his tongue in annoyance. He wanted to walk away, but then he realized something.
What were they doing there?
He turned his head and walked closer carefully, pressing himself against the wall. His eyes widened when he saw Nael cornered against the wall.
"Please, you know it’s my last chance. It’s nothing to you, but it’s so important to me. You know my father won’t come if I don’t give that damn speech," Nick’s voice sounded pleading.
"You can be the best and give that speech when you deserve it. Why do you need to beg me and threaten me? What if someone else gets better than me?" Nael replied. His voice sounded annoyed.
Jonas mediated. "You know, Nael. Nobody will surpass you. Unless you surrender. You know we are friends. And you won’t lose anything anyway. Just calm down a bit and let Nick get better scores for at least two classes."
"That’s not going to happen. And what kind of friends treat their friends like this? I never imagined myself in this situation."
"Nael, please. I don’t know what else I can do. I can never beat you, but I have to this year. Please, I beg you," Nick pleaded.
"If you really want that position, try harder. I won’t back down," Nael sounded insistent.
For a moment, Nathan nodded in satisfaction at his twin’s answer. The boy wasn’t as stupid as he thought.
Then he heard Nael groaning. Nathan’s eyes widened in concern, but he wanted to know what was going on.
"What are you doing? You will regret it if you hurt me!" Nael said in a voice that was almost gone.
Nick sounded anxious. "Jonas, release him!"
Jonas chuckled. "I am fed up with his bossy act. Nael, listen. You know what will happen if you annoy us, right? I will not take it easy. But you know what will happen if your relationship with Zimmer comes out on the internet? Think about it."
Nathan listened intently. After their subsequent conversation, he concluded that Nael’s secret lover was none other than Zimmer, their biology teacher.
It was quite shocking. Who would have thought that an innocent and cheerful boy like Nael would fall for their teacher?
Nathan tried to guess a few things related to Zimmer’s disappearance. Could it be that the man had run away and they were still meeting secretly?
Oh Nael, how stupid you are, thought Nathan.
"So, think wisely. We have all the proof. Please, at least think about your family."
Nael’s voice was no longer heard.
Then the sound of Nael’s muffled groan was the breaking point. Nathan no longer cared about his annoyance with Nael or the fact that he didn’t want to be involved with his twin. This time, he felt very angry.
His appearance made Nick’s eyes widen and Jonas turn his head.
"You’d better let Nael go," said Nathan.
Jonas immediately released Nael’s collar.
Jonas looked at Nathan. "Since when were you there?"
"You guys really need to learn to keep secrets. How many times will I hear about your evil plans?" said Nathan. "I can report you for blackmailing. Let’s see which one gets more attention."
Jonas tensed up. "You have no evidence."
Nathan pointed to the CCTV camera in the corner of the hallway. "I just need to give them a statement of what happened."
Jonas paled. He stared at Nathan. "You can’t be serious."
"If you want to threaten people, be smart. If the news about an X Starling teacher with a student gets out, who will lose more? Of course, our school will never let that news spread," said Nathan, because he was sure that from the beginning Jonas was just bluffing Nael without thinking about the other consequences.
"And after all, they will know that you are spreading it around. You know what will happen next. You will be expelled. Do you want that to happen?" Nathan continued.
Nick turned pale. Of course, he didn’t want that to happen. But he had already gone this far. He showed his phone. "I have a lot of proof. The school will expel him first!"
Nathan stared at the phone. Not knowing what came over him, he took the phone, threw it on the floor, and stomped on it several times.
Nick’s eyes widened. Nael and Jonas were equally shocked.
The phone wasn’t just cracked, it was completely destroyed when Nathan stomped on it several times.
"What are you doing?!" Nick shouted hoarsely, almost crying.
Jonas approached Nathan, but before he could grab Nathan’s collar, the boy had already pulled his tie and swung his fist.
Jonas was tall and lanky, but at that moment he wasn’t ready for Nathan’s attack. His body was thrown to the side. Before he realized what was happening, Nathan took his phone.
He did the same thing to it.
Jonas stood up, trying to hold Nathan back, but it was too late. The sound of cracking made his mouth fall open.
His phone was destroyed!
Nathan took both phones before they could grab them. "I’m going to check what’s inside. Maybe I’ll find something to pay for your blackmail."
Nick shouted, "Give it back! You’ll regret this! I’ll report you!"
"Just report me," said Nathan.
He looked at Nael, who was still staring in shock.
Jonas still couldn’t accept it. He stood up and threw a punch. Nathan quickly maneuvered and once again punched the boy in the face. This time, he added a small kick.
Nick pushed Nathan’s body, protecting Jonas.
"STOP IT!"
Then a voice was heard that made them all turn their heads.
Zane walked quickly, his face full of worry as he looked at Nathan. Then he looked at Jonas and Nick, and then at Nael.
Nick and Jonas fell silent, afraid. Besides being the chief of police’s son, Zane was known to have a gang that the students feared.
Jonas swallowed hard. "He destroyed my phone!"
Zane stared at the phone in Nathan’s hand. Then he looked at Jonas. "You know, I’d like to break your legs instead of the phone. How dare you touch him?"
His body towered over Jonas, who was half standing.
"I didn’t touch him! He destroyed my phone!" Jonas shouted indignantly.
Zane stepped forward, causing both of them to back away. "If he destroyed your phone, I’m sure he had a good reason to make me want to destroy your bones."
Nathan swallowed hard. He had never heard Zane speak so many threatening words.
Jonas stepped back. "You—"
"Get out of here. If you want to make more trouble, I’ll serve you. Tell me the place," Zane threatened.
Jonas felt his breath shorten. He clenched his fists tightly. Nick looked like he was about to cry.
But both of them chose to leave rather than make plans to fight Zane. Of course.
