Legacy of the Void Fleet-Chapter 343: Ch
"Yes, sir!" The employees of the monitoring department quickly accepted the orders, nodding their heads and beginning to type at their glass-lit desks. Their eyes paid continual attention to the "Blue Bird" application on the Quantum Net.
They began marking those who were trying to cause problems by writing false information—rightful disinformation—and adding them to the reports. The entire monitoring department of Quantum Net Limited focused on almost all the influential applications, marking those who were staging a disinformation campaign.
They especially targeted those who were defaming the image of the Void Fleet, even daring to name the Imperial Commander or post memes portraying him as a devil who feeds on humans.
Posts like these were so numerous across the Quantum Net that they had to call for additional reinforcements: highly capable AIs. These AIs filtered the information for the monitoring department, while other AI units helped them organize the data into different groups based on the evaluated crimes of misinformation and any other charges the department felt were suitable.
While the whole department was busy with their task, on another part of the Earth where the State of Avalon existed, stood its capital city. Now formally under the Avalon Domain, it was also the place where the headquarters of the Earth Federation was built.
The already magnificent former capital of Avalon—now the capital of the entire Avalon Domain—had changed even more, becoming even more beautiful. Everything in this city screamed modernity.
One could see cars zooming past on the roads; at a glance, there was no difference between them and any other car, other than a bit of modern flair and futuristic design. They had the same black tires and ran on the same roads—at least, appearance-wise.
But reality could not be more different than the appearance itself. The roads, while indeed appearing to have the same tiny gravel and texture, were far more robust.
The tar substance used on them had been changed to a more eco-friendly material that didn't pollute the environment. This substance gave immense strength to the roads, making them so robust that even if a plane landed on them, it would do no harm. If maintenance was performed, they could easily last for thousands of years without a single problem.
The cars had their engines swapped completely, now coming with three distinct options. The most common were EVs powered by sodium-ion batteries, which boasted a range of 1,000 miles with ease. The second and third options were hydrogen fuel and e-fuel.
All of these technologies and fuels had undergone high-level advancements—mostly because of the divine technology provided directly by the Void Fleet to produce them for broader use.
The tires, too, had undergone changes. Unlike the original ones, which were hard to recycle and caused environmental hazards, these were made of a different material. After reaching the end of its life cycle, it could be re-cast into new tires through a specialized process.
This material was called Verdanium—a substance safe for the planet, as the recycling process didn't cause any kind of pollution, hence the name.
As these vehicles moved down the road, they created some noise, though not much. A sound-insulating barrier prevented the noise from leaking out too far and disturbing the pedestrians walking along the walkways.
Meanwhile, in the Central District, stood a grand complex that was as massive as its aura was imposing. Built upon an area covering at least 100 acres, it took up a vast space within the district.
Viewed from above, the grand complex was perfectly circular in shape. It was completely white in color, decorated with the flags of various domains. In the center was the Federation flag, which featured the Earth at the center with five large stars below it and numerous smaller stars surrounding them. The blue of the flag was as deep as the oceans themselves.
Inside one of the grand halls, a group of anxious people could be seen hurrying toward the Federation chambers. They were led by five people, followed by seven others, with hundreds more trailing behind them.
Among them, only those twelve leaders bore truly anxious expressions; the rest were either confused, or in some cases, smirking—as if they couldn't wait for what was about to happen.
The guards standing in front of the grand hall doors stood at attention upon seeing the dignitaries: the five Senior Members of the Alliance—who were also the leaders of the five great nations of the former order—along with the seven Dominion Lords, the official members of the Federation, and other dignitaries from the seven domains.
The guards quickly opened the doors to the hall without even waiting for the dignitaries to get close, offering a salute. The leading figures didn't even pay them any attention as they quickly walked in. The doors closed behind them without the guards showing even a slight change in expression.
The grand hall had a magnificent design; one could say it was awe-inspiring. Five magnificent high seats sat at the center of the well of the hall. Below them were the seven seats for the Dominion Lords, and in front of those were nearly 300 numerous seats arranged in tiers, rising from the ground upward so that even the person in the very last row had a clear view of almost every member.
The five seats were for the former presidents, prime ministers, and emperors of the following nations:
The Indra Imperium
The Jiang Dynasty
The Bear Empire
The State of Avalon
The fifth and final seat belonged to the Star Fleet itself. Their representative was none other than the Supreme Leader of the Star Fleet: Supreme Leader Bai himself.
Behind the five seats of the senior members was an even more grand seat. For now, it belonged to no one, as it had yet to be decided who would take the seat as the Federation Head.
The five rulers took their places in the other seats, while their eyes remained constantly fixed on that grandest, most powerful seat—or rather, the throne of the Federation. Anyone who sat upon that seat would rule the Federation; they would be above everyone else.

Their eyes were filled with longing toward the Presidential Seat, as if they wanted to be sitting there instead of in their own places.
But they all sighed; the time for such grand things wasn't quite there yet. After all, that was a position dictated by the votes of the people themselves, and the federal elections were still a few months away.
With regret, they turned and sat in their seats facing the other junior members, who—much like them—had their eyes on the grand Throne of the Federal President. The five senior leaders couldn't help but look at each other with unspeakable emotions.
These little ones dare to daydream of something so far out of their reach? they thought. These juniors weren't even official members yet; they seemed to be forgetting they were only there because of their status in their own regions—it wasn't a permanent official position.
The five leaders shook their heads as if to say, Oh well, let them have this much glory for now. It won't be theirs for long.
