It was the third day of the test, and the battle between the Soul Beasts and Summoned Beasts had just reached the high point with many cities being destroyed in their entirety while the battles shifted from one place to another.

Many students were eliminated, but surprisingly, only a few were killed. Many from the Creator Class mainly preferred to suppress their opponents instead of outright killing them.

It was their way to show their superiority as it was a harder thing to do.

In the last three days, another group had come to target Elias, as if guided straight to him by someone. However, once again, they were unable to force Elias to reveal his secrets.

After the third assault on him, no one else came to target him, as the second battlefield had only two people left, including Elias and a girl.

Elias had been completely free for the last twenty four hours as he left the town. He occasionally looked at the sky, especially the Scrolls which showed the rankings of the students.

Amongst the Destroyer Class, he was ranked second at the moment. The first ranked was the girl that he had met before.

The gap between the third place and the second place was shrinking though, with only a few points left between them.

"I don't think you are going to get any more points here. Everyone who could be hunted here, has been hunted by you. At this rate, you would lose."

Astralious felt more frustrated by the shrinking gap between Elias's score and the score of third ranked student. He was more involved than Elias himself in this test.

"Did you forget our main purpose in coming here?" Elias asked. "Taking the top rank is insignificant. If anything, that's the least of my priorities. There are two bigger priorities."

"I know one of your priorities is to create another identity. But what is the other priority?"

"It's to complete something that was left incomplete."

"Complete something?"

Astralious failed to understand what Elias was talking about. Did it have something to do with his plan to turn earth into his so-called utopia? Didn't they already agree that it was impossible? How did it become his priority for this trip?

"Are you talking about completing this world?" He asked, raising a frown.

"Not at all. That would have to be a long term project. And the first step in that would be to eradicate the essence of death which is littered across this entire world."

"How will you eradicate it? Wait a minute, by completing something incomplete, do you mean...?" It took Astralious a moment to understand. The moment he thought about it, he couldn't ignore the possibility.

He even wondered why he didn't think about it first. This was truly something that he could only achieve on earth, because of the compatibility issues as the incomplete thing was born on earth.

"Even if you complete her incomplete fable, it will only turn her into a middle tier Fable, right? Is it worth it!"

"A middle tier fable wouldn't be worth it. You are right. That's why, I will throw something else into the mix. I have plenty of things in my storage after all. I should at least be able to bring her into the realm of a high tier fable, if not a Constellation."

"This will also give us the distraction that we needed, to put our first priority into motion. Because I truly don't like the fact that we are being watched constantly." Elias raised his head once more, and gazed at the moon.

It was as if the moon itself was being used to spy on him. It was the entire reason he was using his thoughts to talk to Astralious in the first place.

It was the fourth day of the test, and there were only twenty people left in the test, combined from each side. Time was slowly running out.

"This should be the center, where most of the chaotic essence of death gathers." Elias had reached another country, which was covered in snow.

He stood on a frozen lake, and called out Lycorice once more. The girl looked at him in confusion, before looking around to see if there were any threats.

In the last few weeks, she hadn't been trained in utilising her fable skills, which were pitifully weak. Instead, she was only told to master her marksmanship with the rifle that Elias gave her.

The world of her training was not perfect by Elias's standards, but by normal standards, she had already mastered it.

"This place is beautiful." Lycorice said, taking in the beautiful sight where snow was spread for as far as the eyes could see.

Beneath her feet, there was a lake that had frozen into a solid block of ice, but it was still somewhat transparent.

Lycorice had felt a familiar feeling the moment she was first called out on earth. But in this place, that feeling of comfort was most intense, something that even she didn't understand.

She had always felt that something was missing, but she could never put a finger on it. But when she stood in this place, that dreadful feeling grew much weaker.

"This might hurt a little. But I'm doing this for your own good." Elias placed his palm on the girl's forehead.

Before she could ask him anything, she saw his lips move, and two words coming out of them, "Confirm Merger."

The moment his words were spoken, it was as if a magical spell had covered the entire earth.

The dark essence of death which had spread across this entire world after the death of billions of people, started rushing towards the girl like a flooding storm.

Normally, that essence was barely visible. But when it was rushing, almost everyone was able to see it clearly.

Many people even followed the essence to see if it was the work of some treasure or another competitor. Fortunately, the merger storm had also materialized.

It shrouded Elias and Lycorice within, hiding them from the sight of the world, including the two demigods in the sky.
