Moon liked the name granted to her by her current owner. She tried her best to smile, but her countenance betrayed how happy she was.

Felix could only chuckle from how straight her face appeared, as she placed Moon on his right shoulder.

He then unsheathed his sword and brought the dull part closer to Moon, saying, "This is Rain. I hope you’ll get along with him."

Moon extended her tiny leg to touch Rain’s body with her paws. Rain exuded a dim light, free from water qi to prevent scaring Moon.

Moon also gently caressed her flaws without her claws scratching Rain.

Felix glanced and smiled at them, blissful that he had finally found his children.

Although the name was pretty basic, it also strayed away from the original word and simply conveyed who they were.

The staff, watching them on the side, were speechless.

He turned towards Moon and scratched her lower chin.

"Her name is Moon."

Krisha walked closer to him and suddenly moved PengPeng closer to Moon.

However, Moon suddenly straightened her back and glared at PengPeng, suddenly extending her right claws and smacked it towards PengPeng’s face.

Krisha was taken aback. As much as she wanted to pull PengPeng immediately, she and Felix didn’t have faster reaction time like Moon.

Moon’s claws radiated an ice energy as it headed towards PengPeng’s face.

However, PengPeng merely gazed at the claws headed towards him and suddenly pecked at Moon’s claws with his beak, radiating with ice energy.

Moon’s claw and PengPeng’s beak collided as they both possessed the same amount of ice energy.

In the end, they both pulled backwards, and Moon attempted to attack PengPeng again, but, this time, Felix and Krisha were finally able to distance themselves.

Felix frowned at Moon, causing the latter to be surprised and lowered her head in guilt.

PengPeng, on the other hand, was unbothered as he didn’t receive a scolding from his owner.

Even then, his owner had a stupefied expression on her face, as she gazed at Moon.

Even Lucia and the staff were flabbergasted.

Felix, meanwhile, seemed to be unfazed at the strength that Moon showed.

He was more focused on the part where Moon suddenly became aggressive.

He said in an upset tone, "Don’t do that again. Understand?"

Moon kept her head lowered and nodded in response.

Felix sighed and caressed her head, saying, "Don’t be aggressive next time. Get along with PengPeng, he’s my close friend’s beast pet, so you’ll see him more often."

Moon nodded again.

Felix turned towards Krisha and was about to apologize on Moon’s behalf when he was stunned by her stupefied expression.

He asked, "What?"

"What do you mean what?" Krisha rolled her eyes. "Did you not see that she managed to draw out an attack with my PengPeng? PengPeng is a three star beast! There’s no way a two star beast can stop his attack."

Felix raised his eyebrows and asked, "Are you sure PengPeng didn’t hold back."

"He didn’t." Krisha instantly responded. "He might appear as unfazed but he was also utterly surprised."

Felix chuckled. "Then, it just shows that I choose a beast with a three star potential."

He gazed at the staff that made the latter speechless. The staff was about to say something, like holding on to Moon for now, but it was already obvious that Moon had chosen her master.

If a beast on the juvenile stage had already chosen their master and were suddenly away from them, the said beast’s health would often get complicated.

Hence, it was only wise for the staff to let go of Moon.

The staff said, "Can you please come and let us assess Moon every half a year or even a year?"

Felix nodded. "That can be done."

Krisha said, "Now that you have chosen your first beast pet, we should return now. You still have to relay the result to Master Vey. I’m already getting hungry."

Felix smiled at her and nodded.

When they returned, the examiner, who examined Krisha earlier, welcomed them outside.

Krisha asked, "Is the result already out?"

With sparkling eyes, the examiner replied with an eager tone, "Yes. They wanted to remain confidential of Mr. Felix’s result until he heard it himself."

Looking at the enthusiastic examiner, Krisha became excited, too.

They entered through the room and saw the group of examiners, discussing among themselves.

When they saw Felix, their faces lit up and immediately ended their discussion.

They hastily walked towards him as the leader, grasping a clipboard to show the printed result of Felix’s assessment, arrived in front of him.

While shivering in excitement, he stammered, "Y-You..."

He closed his eyes, took a deep breath to simmer himself down, and finally opened his eyes to continue.

Felix was utterly surprised. He couldn’t help but shiver in excitement, as well.

Suddenly, the leader of the examiner had his face turned solemn as he swept his gaze to others, including Lucia and Krisha.

He said, "I hope this will remain confidential. Felix might be the brightest star that we have at the moment, but even the brightest star will fade if a black hole interrupts its glow. I hope you understand where I’m coming from."

Krisha instantly replied, "Of course, we do. You just used an analogy, after all."

Everyone exploded into the hoot of laughter, including Felix.

The examiner chuckled and turned towards Felix, saying, "Your overall assessment is at SS-rank. However, after discovering that you have achieved Awakener Rank 5 and your summoned strangely attained the Unique rank, we adjusted slightly the standards, marking your overall assessment at S+ rank.

It was still comparable to Beast Tamer Monarch.

Or even way better, including the fact that you have just been awakened the day before."
