After Frank was finished, coincidentally, his beast pet finally returned, bringing a round rock atop of its shell.

As the beast pet placed the round rock similar of its size on the floor outside of Moon’s beast quarters, Frank glanced at his beast pet and seemed to communicate with it mentally.

The turtle suddenly stomped its webbed feet on the floor. The earth below the round rock trembled, and different shapes of earth made out of hardened soil took shape, swirling around the round rock like tentacles of octopus, and began altering the structure of the round rock.

Felix widened his eyes. Earth manipulation! Damn! This turtle is not someone to be trifled with.

Every beast pet could manipulate their surroundings with the help of the elements they have affinity with. However, the turtle in front of him could not only manipulate the earth, his skill’s refinement was on a different level to the point he was changing the structure of the round rock like a skilled sculptor.

It only took him more than five minutes to change the round rock to a structure similar to a bed.

Although it was imperfect, it was definitely way better than the rock Moon used to take a rest.

The turtle lowered its head and pecked at the stone, as it slightly flew upwards and landed on its shell.

Frank walked towards the invincible wall and pressed the button on the side, letting his beast pet enter.

Felix asked, "Will it be fine if it enters inside this cold climate?"

Frank chuckled as he watched his beast pet placed the rock and disappeared in his beast space.

He casually lifted the rock with his one hand and turned towards Felix. "You’re underestimating my beast pet. Anyway, where should I place this?"

Felix asked Moon where and she pointed at a place not far from food dispenser device.

He chuckled as he asked Frank to place the rock.

Felix walked towards the rock and couldn’t perceive a lunar energy radiating from it. He asked Moon for confirmation and it was a relief that Moon perceived the lunar energy from the rock was much denser than the previous one.

Excited, Moon leapt out of Felix’s shoulder and landed at the surface of the rock. She circled around first before finally laying down at a perfect spot and she instantly fell asleep.

Felix and Frank chuckled.

Felix asked, "How could we instruct her how to use the dispenser?"

Frank glanced at Felix and was dumbfounded.

He replied, "There’s no need for that, really. The dispenser has a sensor that not only to detect a beast pet waiting in front of it, but also assess if it was a best time to dispense."

Felix was speechless. He scratched his cheeks out of awkwardness.

Frank asked, "If you want to get access to the camera," he pointed at the camera placed at the top corner inside the beast quarters, "give me your phone number and I will grant you access to it. Download the app first."

Felix nodded. He was aware what app Frank referred to and downloaded it without hesitation after giving him his phone number.

Once the download was completed, he was notified that he had access to the camera inside Moon’s beast quarters.

He pressed it and saw a clear view of image of Moon’s beast quarters. He moved his arm slightly and noticed there was less than a second delay.

Frank said, "You can gain access to the camera and there will not be more than a second delay as long as you are inside Azure Cleave Dojo. Once you leave and left your beast pet in the dojo, I will be assigned to keep watch of her. However, I suggest that you should bring your beast pet with you once you leave even for a bit."

Felix nodded. He glanced at his watch and noticed there was only an hour left for the Mist Courtyard Rumble to begin.

He asked Frank, "Do I have to sign up for the battle later?"

Frank’s eyebrows raised. He replied, "You must be participating for the Mist Courtyard Rumble, right? You don’t need to sign up. You just have to show up and tell the instructor there that you want to participate."

Felix nodded. "I’ll take a leave now, then. I have to prepare first."

Frank smiled and nodded.

They left Moon’s beast quarters and turned around to observe Moon first.

Frank said to Felix, "Come here."

They stood in front of keypad lock.

"You should put your password here. Not even me will have access to it."

After guiding Felix to change password settings of the keypad lock, he turned around and let Felix put his preferred password.

Once they were finished, they left the beast quarters while chatting around.

...

Felix returned to his room and placed Rain on a weapon rack.

Rain instantly complained, anxious why he had to be away from his master.

Felix ignored him, turned around and sat on the bed, facing Rain.

He said to him, "Rain, do know that I have no problem against you. Just that, I have to train with a simple wooden sword to have better understanding of my current strength without you. That way, I can grow stronger. No, we will grow stronger."

Felix glanced at Rain’s body and noticed he calmed down somewhat.

He smiled. "This is for the better, Rain. If we want to grow stronger, we’ll use any means necessary. You want to evolve and surpass your past self, right?"

Rain responded with a hum, causing Felix to smile. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

"Exactly, so there’s no need to be anxious. I’ll train here, too."

Felix finally stood up and grabbed the wooden sword just beside Rain.

He then walked towards a wide space and began executing the sword techniques.

Instead of exhausting himself to perform a better result in his sword techniques, Felix only executed them lightly.

He was like doing a light exercise.

For the next half an hour, he was getting used to the wooden sword while executing the current level of his sword techniques, as he finally prepared himself to the Mist Courtyard Ramble.
