Chapter 65: Descent of MadWhite (II)

Behind me.

SLAP!

A clapping sound rang out as Rukun slammed the back of his hand behind him, but all he met was a hand folding into his, and in the next moment, White spun forward, slamming the edge of his hand into his neck.

BAAANG!

CREAAK!

The sound of clear bone breaking rang out as Rukun was thrown high into the air.

White reappeared before him, punching outwards towards his face.

CLANG!

The sound was like that of iron clashing against another as White’s hand slammed into an invisible blade, blowing through it completely.

Landing back on the ground, he turned to Rukun, who also landed 5 meters away, now in a battle stance.

But that battle stance didn’t hold for two seconds before he suddenly collapsed on both knees.

COUGH

BLEEERGH!

Red blood burst forth like an opened dam as his hands wrapped tightly around his neck.

__ __ __

In the Instructor’s booth.

"That’s a murder attempt."

An instructor said out loud, breaking the silence of the room.

"In what way?"

Vice Rohan said, having sat upright in his chair and looking down at the arena.

"He activated his Limitless Body skill for three seconds, putting every last bit of the strength into the edge of his hands."

"A human’s Windpipe is one of the weakest spots in a human."

"Slamming the edge of his hands into that place with such an amount of force is a clear intent of murder."

"But it’s not against the rules, though?"

Another Instructor defended.

"Besides, the boy is a Malevolent boy, and Blood is their energy. He won’t die coughing it out."

__ __ __

It was a horrifying pain for Rukun.

It felt as if his memory of how to breathe had been wiped away from his brain, leaving him wheezing uncontrollably.

Still, eventually, he found a way to stop the blood, giving him a few seconds to clear his head and regain his ability to breathe.

Turning forward, there was White hands behind his back, and a lifeless eye that stared at him with no emotion.

"That’s...Cough, cough. That’s a good attack. Seems like you truly aren’t here to play."

Rukun said, and in the next moment, his hands slowly raised, coiling together to form a triangle.

"Malevolent Art: Endless Blood Slash!"

For a moment, the arena turned blood red as blades as long as a meter tall appeared everywhere around the battle stage.

There were more than a dozen of them, materializing out of thin air.

Right after,

SLASSSH!

SLASSSH!

SLASSSH!

The sound of the air being slashed through filled the arena as all blades soared forward towards White, who remained completely unmoving.

His eyes glowed with a blue halo for a moment as he ordered.

"Activate Limitless Interval."

They all could see it, the blade cutting towards White, who still refused to move.

Many close their eyes, unable to witness him getting slashed to pieces, but the ones who kept their eyes open watched an unbelievable scene.

The blades completely weaved through White, missing him entirely.

"That’s Impossible!"

Some of the students said, jumping to their feet and leaning closer to look.

They watched it, White buried in an endless slash of red crimson blades with enough sharpness to rip through the air, yet they failed to really cut him, even as he stood there unmoving.

[Absolute Stop Zone Effect has been activated.]

[Attack has been deemed to possess insufficient energy and will automatically miss.]

White looked around him at the blades that truly couldn’t reach him before turning to look at Rukun, who had the same disbelieving expression as the rest of the students.

The Limitless Interval was a skill that he knew like the back of his hand, as he was a Malevolent Boy.

A part of their training in the family was having them understand every technique of the Limitless Bloodline.

He knew what Limitless Interval was, a technique that slowed down attacks and, at an even higher level, could prevent an attack from getting through.

But such a level was something only the truly powerful Limitless Users in the main family should be capable of.

People far beyond the Star Realm.

How could White, a Newcomer just like him, and not even a True Limitless Boy, instead a Limitless Outcast, already possess such ability?

His train of thought was forcibly halted when he saw White begin to move forward.

One step, the next, then a full-blown run.

"Malevolent Art: Crimson Cleave!"

Rukun called as his hand shifted to the side.

The blood on the ground moved up, coalescing together to form a massive 1.2-meter blade, its edge burning in red energy.

RIIIIIIP!

The air was split apart as he slashed downwards at the approaching White.

In response,

"Activate Limitless Body!"

White ordered, and his body glowed with an insane amount of energy, almost turning into a runic figure.

Clenching both his palms into one another to form a gigantic fist.

His knees bent to the ground as he got before Rukun, before swinging up at the falling blade with all of his might

BAAAAAANG!

A heavy explosion of crimson and blue energy burst through the air, and in the next moment,

CRAAACK

The battle stage arena, 3 meters away, had a crack made in it as the edge of a crimson red blade slammed into the ground.

’He broke it!?"

BAAAAANG!

A punch slammed into Rukun’s face, sending blood spurting into the air.

His hands raised, fingers outstretched, and two blades lashed towards White from both sides.

Instead of trying to dodge, he closed on Rukun, jumping and slamming a knee up as he did.

It connected with the boy’s jaw, sending him 7 meters into the air.

Grabbing the two blades by his side, which had been forced to a stop with Limitless Interval, the ground beneath White crumbled as he jumped high into the air.

Both of his legs found their place around Rukun’s waist, turning him so his back was to the ground, and he sat on him.

With both hands clenching the 1-meter-tall blood blades,

"Hehehe,"

A insane cackle left White’s lips and in the next moment,

PUCCCHI

PUCCCHI

PUCCCHI

PUCCCHI

A horrific scene that led every student standing on their feet in shock.
