"Be it gods, demons, dynasties, cult, churches, or just mere mortals. If they dare to come, we'll face them all."
Rio's words echoed in the room, and for a moment everything turned to silence.
All questions, all doubts, _ everything else didn't seem to matter anymore, as what he said now, resonated so well with everyone.
Keeping Amy's secret wasn't because they were afraid of the world, it was simply because revealing it would be risky and a tad bit troublesome.
But since the cat's out of the bag now, all they could do is just gear up.
Rio and Amy stayed in the room for some more time, discussing some random things, before agreeing on their roles and leaving for the night.
The party's preparations were left for mother to handle. Invitations to their father. And promotion, well, that was the kid's responsibility.
With the clout and buzz blooming around Amy and Rio, who could do it better.
"Good night, mother."
"_Night father."
Rio responded with a hug as Artemis kissed them on the forehead and waved them goodbye.

Agnus looked at Rio's back as he disappeared in the darkness of the corridors, and couldn't help but mutter to his wife.
"You know, he won't stay at Zenith, right?" He said.
"Well, if he's set his mind on something, he won't budge. I wonder who he got it from." Artemis replied with a chuckle. Her words causing Agnus to blush.
"Aren't you worried?" Agnus asked, after some time.
Artemis looked at her husband, who shed all his courageous aura of the feared sword saint, and simply looked like a stressed father.
"I am." Artemis replied, placing her palm on his chest, before resting her head on it. "But they're not our innocent and naive children anymore."
"They've grown. And can now make their own little decisions. And we should let them, so they can grow even more."
"But if anything happens?" Agnus asked, hugging his wife back, and holding her in arms gently.
"Then we're here, aren't we?" Artemis replied calmly.
"Rio's emotional and stubborn, but he's also calm, intelligent, and a great survivor." Artemis explained, showing much of how she understands her son.
"Well, he's reckless too." Agnus countered, making Artemis chuckle in response.
"That he is." She said with a smile, before adding on further. "But he's patient also."
"You couldn't handle the fact that I'll be in danger for a few minutes, yet he's been holding it in for years."
"...."
"I trust he'll make the right decision. Not because he knows the future, or had seen fate or anything mystical like that – but simply because he cares too much."
"For me, for you, and especially for our little Amy. He won't let anything happen to us."
Artemis finished speaking, her confident words just showing how much pride she had for her son, and the amount of trust she placed upon him.
"So, … since you know he'll leave the academy anyways? Why didn't you just agree to his request earlier?" Agnus asked.
But in response to his question, Artemis just smiled and shook her head.
"Well, I'm just curious about what tricks he'll use to get out without our permission." Artemis explained like a curious kid. Making Agnus speechless in response.
"Plus I can't have him think that he'll ask anything outrageous and I'll just blindly agree to him."
"Can't spoil him too much."
"...." (Speechless sword saint face)

On the other hand, after leaving their parents room, Rio and Amy walked around the Raven estate gardens. Enjoying the cold night breeze and the shining moonlight showering the sky.
Rio also fulfilled his promise and answered many of Amy's questions. Telling her about his 'blessing', their fate, and all that he had done to change it over the course of time.
Along with little hints about the past events related to the history between their house and the Evil's Scion and Evil Gods.
He didn't explain his parents' past story, as that wasn't his secret to tell. And with understanding, Amy didn't mind it either.
She was just glad to know everything that he explained. As this meant, she finally won't feel left out anymore, and could actively try to help her brother and parents share their worries in the future.
Finally when Rio was about to say goodbye, and go back to his room, Amy grabbed his hand and stopped him. Her expression tense and stressed, as if she was mulling over whether to voice her words or not.
"Brother, the royal family is stronger than us, right?" She asked after a deep breath, making Rio frown in response.
But after little hesitation, he nodded his head in honesty.
"Then if I agree to marr…"
"Shut it, Ames." Rio said, interrupting his sister with a stern refusal before she even finished her sentence.
"I just mean then we'd be allies and …"
"You will never marry that guy as long as I'm alive."
She was explaining when Rio cut her off again.
"Hell, the next time I see him, I'm going to teach him a lesson for even suggesting something so ridiculous."
"Fucking bastard." Rio couldn't help but curse as he remembered that damned guy's face.
Amy saw him being angry, and couldn't help but clench his hand in her palms.
"Brother, I just don't want to ruin your and Rebecca…"
"There's nothing to ruin, Amy." Rio replied, halting his sister, lest she self blames herself.
"I don't like that guy. It's been the same since our childhood. You know that. Everyone does." Rio explained.
"And after what he did in the dungeon, after Dahlia's death _ I swore I'll kill him one day."
"...."
"So every breath he takes now, is a concession I've given, cause I'm not strong enough to handle the consequences yet. _ The day I am, that'll be his last."
"Now you don't wanna be a widow by your brother's hands, do you?"
"Brother, I just…"
"Good night, Amy." Rio replied nd simply left without looking back.
His face cold and expression murderous as he really couldn't understand why she even dared to speak about this.
"Fucking Alfred, you really do deserve to die." Rio couldn't help but mutter again. Sentencing the prince to blame for everything.
