Yun Mengyao laughed, "These aren't pants, they're safety shorts, to prevent perverts like Qin Yi from peeping."

"Safety shorts? But your legs are still exposed."

"What's the big deal? There are plenty of Victoria's Secret models, and people wearing bikinis; I'm already very conservative."

Yun Susu was bewildered, unable to comprehend Yun Mengyao's words.

"Miss Yun, why can't I understand most of the words you and Young Master Qin say? What is a Victoria's Secret model? And what's a bikini? I feel like we don't live in the same world."

Yun Mengyao suddenly felt a jolt of realization; she and Qin Yi hadn't considered this aspect.

"Hahaha... that's a dialect from Qin Yi's hometown; it's quite normal for you not to understand."

Yun Susu nodded, "So that's it, I see now."

"Princess, watch out!"

As the two were chatting, they suddenly heard Jin Die's exclamation.

Yun Mengyao and Yun Susu had already heard it—the piercing sound of an arrow slicing through the air, a sharp arrow with terrifying penetrative power shooting towards Yun Mengyao's back.

Yun Mengyao, enraged, flicked her fingers, shooting a Feather with chilling light.

The Feather light collided with the arrow mid-air, a metallic clash followed by sparks flying.

However, Yun Mengyao's Feather was quickly deflected, and the arrow in the blink of an eye reached her.

Yun Mengyao was terrified, hastily striking the arrow with her palm; nonetheless, the force of the arrow was terrifying, and her palm failed to deflect it, allowing it to strike her chest.

"Miss Yun, are you alright?" Yun Susu, having managed to stop her own bleeding with energy movement, looked on in horror at Yun Mengyao.

Yun Mengyao sat up, shaking her head solemnly, "I'm fine, everyone be cautious; the enemy's cultivation surpasses ours."

Just as she finished speaking, three arrows shot forth from the forest in a triangular formation, aiming straight for Yun Susu.

Yun Mengyao's face turned pale as her surroundings flickered with multicolored light, wings sprouting from her back. With a flap, dozens of Feathers transformed into chilling projectiles.

Yun Susu and Jin Die swiftly moved sideways.

The three arrows struck the ground where Yun Susu had been standing, embedding deep into the earth, leaving only three thumb-sized holes.

The three of them looked pale—the fact that the arrows had been slightly weakened by the Feathers showed just how terrifyingly powerful they were.

"Qin Yi, you bastard, get over here; I'm going to die!" Yun Mengyao shouted at the top of her lungs.

As Yun Mengyao called for Qin Yi, two figures burst from the forest, dashing towards them with astonishing speed.

"Run!" Yun Mengyao yelled.

Their opponents exuded an overwhelming aura, far beyond what the three could handle. Qin Yi was in the forest nearby picking fruits, so as long as they reached him, they'd be safe.

However, their pursuers were too fast. With simultaneous motions, they pressed down, causing the air around Yun Mengyao and the others to distort as if a massive mountain were pressing down.

Yun Mengyao, Yun Susu, and Jin Die spat out blood, the force compressing their bones with a loud creak, their feet sinking into the ground.
