Song Qingfeng was so frightened by Qin Yi's rebellious words that he felt cold as blood. If these words were to reach the Royal Family, it would be a disaster implicating nine generations.

He picked up the teacup, trying to drink some tea to calm his nerves, but his fingers trembled so much that he couldn't hold the cup steady, causing it to fall to the ground and shatter.

Song Qingfeng was both scared and embarrassed; a mighty practitioner at the Body Integration Realm couldn't even hold two teacups, like someone with muscle weakness—truly disgraceful.

"Qin, Master Qin, I'll pretend I didn't hear that."

Qin Yi's lips slightly curled, "Royal power reigns supreme, deep in the people's hearts, firmly rooted. Forget it, I won't say more, but remember, don't stand on the wrong side. At the very least, don't support the Second Prince; he is as good as dead."

Song Qingfeng's throat was dry; he could only swallow a few mouthfuls of saliva with the cup broken.

If someone from the Royal Family learned about Qin Yi's remarks and he, the War General of Tianlin City, remained unmoved, he feared he would die before Qin Yi.

"Master Qin, you must be tired from your journey. I'll have someone prepare some wine and food for you."

Qin Yi nodded slightly.

Song Qingfeng quickly left, almost in a panic, fearing Qin Yi might say something else rebellious.

Qin Yi's lips slightly curled; this Song Qingfeng is somewhat interesting.

Before long, Song Qingfeng returned to invite Qin Yi to dine.

During the meal, constant news arrived, but none was good—no trace of the Third Princess was found.

"Master Qin, the Third Princess may have been taken away from Tianlin City."

Qin Yi, satisfied from the meal, wiped his mouth, "Let's go, check the suspects you've detained."

Yun Susu and the others weren't found, but several hundred suspects were captured.

Due to the large number of people, they could only be watched over at the Martial Arts Training Grounds of the War General Mansion for now.

Qin Yi and Song Qingfeng arrived at the training grounds.

Qin Yi's gaze was sharper than a knife, fierce and cold, sweeping over each suspect.

"Release them; none of them are the ones we're looking for."

After a long time, Qin Yi's fierce gaze softened as he spoke indifferently.

Song Qingfeng was puzzled; confirming the absence of those who kidnapped the Third Princess with just a glance seemed too rash.

"Master Qin, should we interrogate them one by one?"

Qin Yi shook his head; going through each one would surely lead to torture, and he didn't want to implicate innocent people.

"No need; none of these people possess high cultivation. The ones who took the Third Princess must be at least in the Divine Separation Stage; here, no one is even at the Nascent Soul Stage."

Song Qingfeng nodded, acknowledging Qin Yi's reasoning, "Then, Master Qin, I'll order them all to be released."

Qin Yi nodded slightly, then spoke, "War General Song, continue to keep an eye on the Third Princess's situation; I'm heading to the Imperial City. A word of advice before I leave: remember what I said before."

Song Qingfeng hesitated for a moment, nodding slightly.

"Master Qin, you are concerned about the Third Princess' safety; I won't insist on keeping you. If there's a chance, we should drink together."

"There will be a chance."

After speaking, Qin Yi directly soared into the sky and... returned again.

Song Qingfeng was full of doubt; what's this? Showcasing your movement skills? Very graceful, very gallant; we all saw it.

"I don't know the way," Qin Yi said somewhat awkwardly.

Song Qingfeng: "..."

"Master Qin, head south for a thousand miles, and you'll reach Fengwu City. After Fengwu City, another thousand miles will take you to the Imperial City."

Qin Yi was slightly stunned, "If I reach Fengwu City ahead of time, is there a chance of intercepting the Third Princess?"

"It's difficult; Fengwu City is different from Tianlin City, with multiple routes, leading directly to the Imperial City without entering Fengwu City. Intercepting the Third Princess there is like finding a needle in a haystack—truly challenging."

Qin Yi's eyes flickered, "I've been lucky in the past; perhaps it's worth a try. War General Song, farewell."

"Master Qin, take care, until we meet again."

Qin Yi chuckled, soared into the sky, and disappeared as a streak of light.

Song Qingfeng watched Qin Yi vanish from the sky, and his expression suddenly turned grimmer.

An elder with gray hair and beard approached; he was the steward of the War General Mansion and Song Qingfeng's confidant, Qiu Shuang.

"War General, did Qin Yi discover anything?" Qiu Shuang whispered.

Song Qingfeng sneered, "What could he discover? Just a young brat, wet behind the ears, not ready to play this game with me."

"The War General is insightful; compared to you, he's indeed not up to par. The War General's brilliance! To overpower without fighting, Qin Yi was toyed with by you."

Song Qingfeng was full of disdain, "No matter how shocking one's cultivation, being so foolish, he only deserves to be played by me. By the way, how's the woman?"

"War General, rest assured, she's been held in the prison all along and will be discreetly sent away tonight."

"That's good." Song Qingfeng looked at the suspects held on the training grounds in disgust, "Let them go."

"Yes, War General."

...

...

Late at night, the moon was bright, and stars were sparse.

Song Qingfeng, Qiu Shuang, and a person whose figure was entirely obscured by a black robe, making their face indistinguishable, arrived at the prison of the War General Mansion.

Deep inside the prison, in a separate cage, a woman was suspended in mid-air by chains as thick as a child's arm, her head weakly drooping.

Qiu Shuang stepped forward and opened the cell door.

The three entered, and Song Qingfeng sinisterly smiled, "Lady Jin Die, it's time for you to go."

The woman slowly raised her head, her mouth lined with darkened blood, glaring indignantly at Song Qingfeng.

Song Qingfeng sneered, "Lady Jin Die, there's no need to look at me like that; we're each serving our own master, helpless as we are."

"Time is short; delay might bring change. It's crucial not to keep the Second Prince waiting." The person in the black robe spoke, their voice hoarse.

"Release her," Song Qingfeng ordered Qiu Shuang, then asked in confusion, "This woman is merely a maid beside the Third Princess; it's unclear why the Second Prince wants her. Might as well kill her."

"Are you questioning the Second Prince's decisions?" The person in the black robe coldly replied, a mysterious cold wind arising, chilling everyone to the bone.

Song Qingfeng's face changed drastically and quickly responded, "I don't dare; I spoke out of turn."

"This woman is not only a maid to the Third Princess but is considered family. She has great value remaining alive. In the future, refrain from speculating the Second Prince's intentions." The person in the black robe rasped.

"Understood." Song Qingfeng quickly replied.

The chains binding Jin Die were loosened, and she fell limply to the ground.

"Mister Li, please convey to the Second Prince, Qin Yi's rebellious nature—this person must not remain." Song Qingfeng said. He only knew the person in the black robe was surnamed Li but did not know his full name.

Mister Li nodded slightly.

Jin Die's eyes brightened slightly upon hearing Qin Yi's name.

Song Qingfeng disdainfully said, "What, do you think that fool Qin Yi can save you? Don't count on it; that brainless waste was deceived by a few words from me and led away."

Jin Die's eyes gradually dimmed.

Mister Li stepped forward, reaching out to take Jin Die with him.
