"Those who steal fate shall not survive."

"Bang"

When the supreme oracle echoed deep within Tang Qi's soul, in his eyes, the thread of destiny belonging to Sally, which was so close he could almost touch it, silently snapped and disintegrated, turning into gray light points that scattered and, in an instant, Sally's aura completely transformed into nihility.

The force of drag instantly wrapped around Tang Qi's soul, pulling him away from the River of Destiny.

"No!"

As the world turned upside down, Tang Qi returned to his body, and a soul-tearing roar escaped his lips. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

He trembled uncontrollably, his body covered with dense gray scars, as if becoming a statue that might shatter at any moment. His features were completely distorted, and for the first time, his eyes showed an intense surge of emotion — despair, collapse.

Uncontainable anger and sorrow completely filled his soul.

Mad thoughts infected his soul like a virus, his originally pure and misty soul suddenly distorted.

As the Dream Master, his newly awakened dominion was implicated as well.

Boom!

Rumble!

A disaster more terrifying than the previous Black Mud invasion descended upon the Dream Kingdom.

All nodes trembled, even collapsing. All dream creatures, sensing their sovereign's emotion, broke down and cried, crimson snow poured down from the heavens, madness, cold, despair... Negative auras threatened to completely drown the kingdom.

For a moment, countless dream creatures teetered on the edge of "corruption."

The Dominator's Body, holding Deborah Town, also began to lose control, heading towards corruption. The originally dreamy divine aura gradually transformed toward madness and chaos.

If this shocking change continued, Tang Qi was bound to fall; the Dream Master would vanish, replaced by an Evil God soon to achieve "true sovereignty."

At this moment, whether it was the Beckfast Chair beneath Tang Qi, or Gluttony, Amanda, White Merlin, Tyrone, these dream creatures, as well as the Dream Favored still wrapping up within the Federation, all attempted to help the great sovereign in horror.

But unfortunately, they too were implicated, unable to protect themselves.

The only one with a chance of success was Diana.

The originally pure girl who was touring around the nodes and making friends with dream creatures, now panicked, flew barefoot towards Deborah Town, countless dark tentacles along the way trying to intercept her or drag her into corruption under some chaotic guidance.

But the sacred radiance pouring out of Diana purified everything.

In the Dream Kingdom, her authority was second only to Tang Qi.

She is now one of the "All Spirits," a yet unnamed, sacred, benevolent goddess within the kingdom.

But unfortunately, she too belongs to the Dream Kingdom, gradually becoming implicated as well.

Larger, black tentacles surged towards her, the earth and sky began to shatter, volcanoes erupted, the forest turned into a chaotic ghost realm, the plains became a stinky swamp, attracting numerous chaotic, evil creatures attempting to invade the kingdom and push it further into corruption.

Diana began to stumble, and holy scars appeared on her sacred girl body, yet she never gave up, falling and rising again and again.

Across the collapsing kingdom, she began to call out to Tang Qi.

"Wake up, please wake up... Kind and merciful Dream Master, the Protective God of the lost and the Fallen, the Lighthouse within boundless mystery, the Wise Man who brings peace, tranquility, and beautiful dreams... My Father God, the one who nurtured creation and kissed Diana, I ask for you to wake up, for madness and chaos should not shroud this dreamland."

In the murmured prayer, within the infinitely tall Experimental Giant Tower, seated upon the Divine Chair, on the verge of madness and corruption, Tang Qi seemed to awaken momentarily, his completely blurred eyes still filled with the shattered images of Sally's thread of destiny, amid which Diana's voice faintly reached him.

The subtle connection between the two made Tang Qi struggle, slowly extending a hand.

At that moment, the scarred Diana crossed the void, and the scene that occurred during the battle with the Black Mud played out once more.

When Diana's small hand held Tang Qi's palm, an overwhelmingly sacred "Purification Divinity" poured forth.

"Boom!"

Awakened, Tang Qi's once frenzied eyes first appeared dazed, then regained clarity.

Armed with the Dream Divinity of the Sovereign, he immediately repelled the madness and chaos.

Pure phosphorescence flickered, beginning to restore the affected Dream Kingdom, with all nodes, dream creatures, and Dream Favored returning to normal.

However, at this moment, Tang Qi, now awake, did not have time to express gratitude to Diana. He pulled the girl to his side, the scars on his body fading with the surge of phosphorescence, yet this immense divine power could not provide Tang Qi with a sense of security.

Tang Qi raised his head, staring directly into the void ahead.

There, a figure suddenly appeared.

This was a "lady," slightly taller than ordinary women, dressed in an exceedingly ancient-style gray dress. It was a kind of gray like that which fades with time, mist-like, with patterns on it resembling ripples in a river, continuously undulating, filled with an uncertain aura.

She too was barefoot, revealing two white forearms, her hair tied in braids, pitch-black adorned with some gray strands.

Her facial features appeared very disproportionate, even somewhat ugly, with a very high nose, deeply contoured eye sockets, and the corners of her mouth seemingly perpetually curved in a mockingly smiling arc.

When this figure appeared unannounced within the tower, Tang Qi felt the All-Knowing eye at the center of his soul automatically begin closing. He realized he could not reverse this process and that even trying might lead to immensely dire consequences.

Beneath him, the Beckfast Chair was convulsing wildly, an endless surge of fearful thoughts trying to manifest as a shadow and flee.

Yet, more tragically, it dared not truly act, at least not without permission. This permission did not come from Tang Qi but from another supreme will.

With no preamble and no need for speculation, Tang Qi understood the identity of the lady before him from deep within his mind.

The Fate Goddess!

Among the "All Spirits" above the mysterious, the most unknowable, unpredictable Divine, the great Goddess mastering "Destiny."

Originally, Tang Qi should have harbored boundless hatred and murderous intent towards Her.

But at this moment, those feelings were absent.

When Diana awakened him, Tang Qi realized.

Everything he had just glimpsed in the River of Destiny was an illusion, a "mockery" by the Fate Goddess.

Sally had not fallen.

Tang Qi let the eye in his soul close and allowed the lady before him to scrutinize and mock him.

Inside the tower, there was silence.

The somewhat ugly Fate Goddess, her eyes, which seemed to encompass everything, looked at Tang Qi as if he were an amusing toy, devoid of any respect, openly displaying her lofty, mocking, and derisive smile.

Her voice was filled with uncertainty, sometimes gentle, sometimes hoarse, sometimes full of malice, accompanied by irresistible power causing distortions in Tang Qi's soul and the entire kingdom, but it quickly stabilized at the sound of her ultimately playful tone.

"Do you want to save her, that poor little witch who would even steal destiny to help you?"

She spoke, not needing Tang Qi's response, as if she were conversing with his future self, her voice, filled with malice and humor, continued.

"You stole destiny, glimpsed destiny... As punishment, you shall surely be toyed with by fate, and your secrets cannot be concealed before destiny. Everything you desire will slip in the opposite direction; you may face the most tragic end, which might be inevitable, the only end."

Her words ended, and Tang Qi was scrutinized once more, the lady's smile at the corners of her mouth brimming with malice that made his soul tremble.

If this lady were to attack him, Tang Qi would certainly die, even if he reopened the All-Knowing eye, or sought help from Rafael, summoned the Monarch Octopus again, or called upon the Mother Goddess... None of these would alter the outcome.

Once again, Tang Qi did not have time to respond; it seemed his future self had already given an answer.

The arc at the lady's mouth became even more exaggerated, her voice, filled with malice that Tang Qi could not resist, resonated deeply within his soul.

"From this moment on, you shall be my plaything, joining my game... until I forgive you or... tire of you."
