Love Command: Darling, Do You Yield?-Chapter 64 - 65 Surgery 2
Chapter 64: Chapter 65 Surgery 2
The two people were talking.
Not far away, a nurse rushed over.
"Who’s Miss Harris?"
"I am."
The nurse saw her, hurriedly came over, and took Iris Harris’s hand, saying, "The surgery is about to start, come with me."
Iris Harris nodded and said to Lady Hyde, "Auntie, I’m going."
Lady Hyde smiled and nodded. Once Iris was taken away by the nurse, the smile gradually faded from her face, revealing a trace of worry.
Even though she had just comforted Iris Harris, she was actually a bit afraid inside.
The one going into the operating room was her son.
Although the probability of success was very high, she was still afraid.
God bless, please let Brandan come out of this all right.
He’s her only son...
She can’t lose him...
Lady Hyde took a deep breath and sat wearily on the bench, waiting quietly.

When Iris Harris woke up, she was lying in a hospital bed.
Lady Hyde was standing nearby, and when she saw Iris awake, she hurried over and said softly, "Iris, you’re awake?"
Iris Harris struggled to sit up from the bed and rubbed her temples, "Auntie, what happened to me?"
"The doctor said you were too exhausted and passed out."
Iris Harris slowly came to her senses and, remembering Brandan’s surgery, quickly asked, "Auntie, where’s Brandan?"
"Brandan’s surgery was very successful."
Lady Hyde said this and couldn’t help but have tears in her eyes. She raised her hand to touch Iris’s hair and said softly, "Iris, you’re the savior of the Hyde Residence. I really don’t know how to thank you..."
Upon hearing that Brandan’s surgery was successful, Iris Harris finally breathed a sigh of relief, and an involuntary smile appeared on her face, "It’s nothing. Besides, I was meant to save him."
Lady Hyde looked at her, with thoughts unknown, but her smile was somewhat bitter, as if she wanted to say more but stopped.
Iris Harris looked at Lady Hyde. She always had the illusion that Lady Hyde was hiding something from her.
Sometimes, the way she looked at her was with a sorrow that confused her.
"Auntie, what’s wrong?"
Iris Harris couldn’t help asking.
"It’s nothing."
Lady Hyde shook her head, got up from beside the bed, and said to Iris, "Iris, are you hungry? You didn’t have breakfast; I’ll ask the servant to prepare some food for you."
Iris Harris replied with a "Hmm" and nodded, watching Lady Hyde hurry away.
She retracted her gaze and lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling in exhaustion.
The surgery was over.
Somehow, she felt that her only connection with Brandan had ended too.
Perhaps Brandan’s illness was a test from above for her to see if she could win back his heart.
Otherwise, why was she the only one who matched his bone marrow?
However, she failed.
Not only did she not win back his heart, she completely lost it.
So be it...
Iris Harris leaned against the hospital bed, thinking that their relationship was over...
She sat there, feeling that what she had pursued in her life had completely disappeared, leaving her feeling empty.
Iris Harris sighed softly.
*************************
Although Brandan’s surgery had been successful, he still needed to stay in a sterile ward for more than a month.
Since he couldn’t be at home to accompany Lady Hyde, Iris Harris stayed at the Hyde Residence to take care of Lady Hyde in his place.
