"How is there a purple shell here? It’s so pretty, I’ve never seen a purple shell before!" Evalian held the shell in her hand, eyes gleaming with delight. But upon closer inspection, she couldn’t help but frown. "This is decorated with a chain, who dropped it? Why is it in Dawn’s room?"
While Evalian was still puzzled, on the bed, the glaring light caused the sleeping Dawn to open his eyes.
Evalian was about to speak to the newly awakened Dawn when Nico Haynes, Arlo Seys, and Ariel Morris rushed into Dawn’s room. Evalian glanced at them, still clutching the purple shell.
Nico’s voice reached them before he even entered the door, "Old Second, are you tricking me, my little lord!"
The trio entered and were immediately silenced by the sight of Evalian standing in the room and Dawn just sitting up on the bed.
Dawn rubbed his aching temples and frowned at Nico, "Why are you shouting? My head is about to explode!"
Nico’s gaze swept over Dawn and Evalian, filled with a deep meaning. "I wondered why you didn’t want me to find a woman for you. Turns out you had company!"
Dawn rubbed his forehead and replied offhandedly, "What do you mean?"
"Damn! Didn’t you ask me to find a woman to relieve yourself with? I did, but did you even use her?" Nico jumped up in frustration.
Ariel immediately tugged on Nico’s sleeve, signaling him to watch his words since Evalian was present.
Nico only then realized the inappropriateness. Evalian was Dawn’s official girlfriend, and he was mentioning finding a woman in front of Evalian.....
"What woman?" Evalian asked.
When Evalian spoke, Dawn finally realized when Evalian had come into the room.
Dawn pursed his lips, "Why are you here?"

Dawn’s heart suddenly sank into an icy abyss, becoming entirely frozen. He raised his eyes, his tone somewhat hoarse, "I—was an idiot."
