Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 107: Ronan’s Threat
Ronan grabbed his handkerchief then handed it to the confused Alexis.
"For your wound," said the king, making Alexis’s eyebrows knit together.
"Wound?"
Suddenly his hand ached. Alexis could feel his fingers getting wet as they touched his upper arm. His coat had been torn off, and blood was seeping down his arm.
"You hurt my arm!" exclaimed Alexis, who panicked that his arm was wounded.
Ronan didn’t seem too affected. He just shrugged his shoulders unconcerned. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
"I told you I didn’t mean to. My arrow missed," he replied casually.
Alexis growled in annoyance. His breath wheezing with anger. How dare this barbaric king injured him, the heir to the throne of the Nieverdell Kingdom??!!
Alexis’ patience had run out. He really hated barbarians like this man in front of him. Even though that man was a king too!
"Do you still have a grudge against me because of the wolf I killed? If you still don’t accept the wolf’s death then we will quickly find a replacement so we can bring Arielle home as soon as possible from the North," said Alexis through gritted teeth.
Alexis’ words sparked Ronan’s anger. With the two of them standing close together, Ronan quickly reached out and gripped Alexis’s neck.
Alexis, who was taken aback by the sudden attack just now, grabbed Ronan’s hand to let go. His neck felt like it was burning, and if he moved his neck rashly, he would only hurt his neck bones.
"Listen here, you little dipshit. Do you think I don’t know that bastards like you guys are up to something? You said your sudden visit was just to visit your sister? Don’t make me laugh," Ronan said coldly.
The king brought his horse closer, and Alexis’s eyes began to daze at the intense red eyes behind the mask.
"If the South dare to touch Arielle, you will be the first person I hunt. Tell King Hugo when you return tomorrow. I’ll give you one month to replace the wolf you killed. If in that one month you can’t replace it, Arielle will stay in the North, and she will never set foot in the South again."
Ronan then threw Alexis’ body violently, making the man almost fall off his horse if he didn’t hold the reins tightly. Ronan stabbed his identification dagger to the body of the bear he had shot, so it could be found by the staff who collected the game. Then he left Alexis alone with his trembling body.
Alexis coughed, clutching his neck, which would have left a bruise mark on it.
"Arielle... Arielle... I won’t let Arielle stay in the hands of a barbarian like you," he muttered in anger.
Ronan’s threat just now made Alexis want to bring Arielle home from the North even more. He would find a way and wish a torturous death for the man who dared to strangle him by the neck.

The hunting party lasted from morning to evening. Arielle didn’t hang out much with other women. Even though some of them greeted her, the girl chose to return to her room at noon. One or two men were back on the colosseum to rest and fill their bellies.
Lucas never left Arielle alone. By late afternoon, when most of the people had returned from the forest, Arielle returned to the field. The atmosphere was busier because many people were waiting for the game from the king.
In both the South and the North, Andrea easily made acquaintances with some of the women there. In a matter of a few hours, the princess already had many women following her.
Arielle didn’t feel jealous at all. She actually felt relieved that she could finally sit alone without bothering to respond to those other women who tried to chat with her. She was glad it wouldn’t be awkward for her.
The big trumpet sounded. Alexis arrived with a female antelope and a small fox tied up on a cart carried by the staff. The women around Andrea then applauded loudly to congratulate Alexis because Alexis’ hunt resulted in bigger games compared to most of the other hunters.
Arielle, who saw that, frowned in displeasure. She turned her gaze in another direction away from the animal bodies that were brought by the staff. She couldn’t bear to look at the animals who were killed for human pleasure.
Some people were surprised to see the wound on Alexis’ upper arm that kept bleeding. The panicked Andrea immediately pushed the people around her and called the doctor to examine her brother’s wound. The prince was immediately brought into the palace for immediate treatment.
"Is Alexis injured? How is that possible?" asked Arielle, who was worried, but Lucas restrained the girl from following her two siblings back to the palace.
Tap. Tap. Tap.
Suddenly someone tapped her shoulder, causing Arielle to turn around. In front of her now stood a fairly large man, probably bigger than King Ronan. The man had a scar that ran horizontally across his face. Arielle had never met the man before.
The big man lowered his head slowly to pay respects to Arielle.
"Greetings, Your Highness. Sorry for just introducing myself today, even though you have been in the North for a long time. Hello, I am Kael Hammonet, the first knight general for the soldiers of Northendell."
Kael? Oh, wasn’t that the name that Namina once referred to as one of King Ronan’s close friends?
"Are you Kael, a close friend of King Ronan?" asked Arielle a little doubtfully.
"Ah, close friend, huh? We’ve always been together for a long time, but I doubt His Majesty the King considers me a friend."
It seemed that the man was too humble to talk about his friendship with the king. Arielle reached out her hand for a handshake. Kael grabbed the small hand, holding it gently.
Was this the woman that William told him about? She was very much different from the types of women from the king’s past. Kael tilted his face to take a closer look at Arielle.
Since when did the king’s type change one hundred percent? He was wondering.
