Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 393: Reconciliation
It seemed that the quarrel between Aimee and Lazarus had subsided, and this was a good chance for Arielle to talk to the two without they being ridicously loud.
"I actually don’t want to meddle in your personal affairs, especially when it comes to the past. It’s just that... arguing in public and making a fuss like that isn’t a good thing either. It might harm some people if you’re not careful."
Arielle pushed the two tea cups she had specially prepared for Aimee and Lazarus. They accepted the tea and drank it. Aimee and Lazarus simultaneously let out long sighs, like they were relieved from being tired of raising their voices.
"Um ... I’m not against fighting," Arielle said, making Lucas hold back his laughter.
That was Arielle’s biggest lie. Lucas knew well that the princess didn’t like any fuss or fights. It’s just that maybe Arielle didn’t want to offend Lazarus or Aimee right now.
"But please.... Will you two just do it in a place people don’t see because I don’t want His Majesty the King to know if you two make a fuss," she added.
Instantly, Lazarus had goosebumps all over his body at the thought of Ronan glaring at him intently. The man didn’t need to make any sound because his gaze alone could intimidate Lazarus. Besides, if Ronan held a wooden stick, it was a nightmare for him.
Lazarus shook his head, not wanting Ronan to know about the commotion earlier.
"Your Highness, could you not tell Ronan about this? I don’t want him to get angry," he pleaded.
"Of course. I won’t tell him," Arielle replied while moving her hand to cover her mouth.
Lazarus could breathe in relief. He knew he could trust Arielle for that.
"But... Instead of fighting each other and draining your emotions like before, what if you two just forgive each other?" Arielle asked, making Aimee and Lazarus surprised.
"HAH!? After what he did? No way. I will never forgive him!" Aimee said. It made Lazarus burn with anger again.
"Me too! How could I forgive someone who had verbally abused me!?" said Lazarus, who didn’t want to lose.
"Verbally abuse? Did you even have a mirror?" asked Aimee in disbelief.
"What? What I did? I just literally asked your name!?"
"You dense-motherf-"
"Okay, okay, okay, I-I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to offend you two like that," Arielle replied in panic because both of them raised their voices again.
"Hmmph!" Lazarus and Aimee both averted their eyes.
Arielle thought of a way to make them forgive each other. She tried to place herself as Aimee or Lazarus, but it failed. In the past, maybe Aimee was annoyed by Lazarus’ outrageous jokes, and her annoyance had carried over to this day.
Arielle tried to imagine her brother, Alexis or Archie doing the same thing...
She frowned because it seemed what Alexis or Archie had done to her was far worse than just calling her a fat kid. Alexis never thought of Arielle as her sister. The man didn’t really care about her existence, while Archie made Arielle chased by a dog in the forest on the night of Andrea’s birthday.
And Arielle had forgiven both of them...
No, not just both but all of them, Annaliese, Andrea, her father, Queen Rosalie, and the rest of her siblings. Maybe Arielle had been holding on to that anger and resentment, but it was gone...
Arielle couldn’t find a way out while trying to see from Aimee’s perspective. She glanced at Lazarus, who was pouting in his place.
Hm... She tried to imagine herself as a teenage boy who met his fat friend’s sister. However, Arielle couldn’t imagine the fat little Aimee because she was so elegant when she wasn’t with Lazarus.
Hm... Arielle thought again. She closed her eyes and imagined Sasha, who also happened to hate Lazarus. Arielle imagined herself bothering Sasha all the time.
She really liked Sasha. The child was very adorable, but Arielle certainly didn’t want to tease him or make Sasha cry. For her, making a child cry was a crime.
Er... once again, Arielle couldn’t imagined herself as Lazarus either. She did not have the heart to tease a small child until they cried.
It looked like Arielle was at a dead end.
"Hm... if you don’t want to forgive each other. What if in the future, when the two of you accidentally meet, you can just pretend you don’t know each other?" asked Arielle, who didn’t know what to do anymore.
"I agree!"
"Agree." Lazarus and Aimee replied at the same time.
"Finally, we agree on something," Arielle said. She was quite happy because her effort didn’t go in vain.
Arielle sipped her tea while glancing at them.
She believed there was something else in the past that made them become like this. It wasn’t just about Lazarus who kept teasing Aimee by calling her fat. But, whatever it was, it was none of Arielle’s business.
Her lips curled up behind the teacup. Arielle felt she needed to do something because she didn’t want Aimee and Lazarus to continue acting like this. Arielle took a note that she had a mission to make Aimee and Lazarus get close again.
Neither of them should continue to act like a cat and mouse until they were old. Aimee was Kael’s younger sister. It was only natural for the two to get along with each other because if they kept fighting, they would only put Kael in an awkward position.

"Achoo!"
"Oh? Lord Kael? You caught the king’s fever?" a knight asked. He sat beside Kael, who was cleaning his sword.
Kael rubbed his nose slowly. He kept silent long enough to check his body was fine. The man shook his head in response to the knight beside him. The knight instantly understood the silent answer his commander gave.
"Even though it’s not the flu, you still have to take care of your health. The winter has been getting more extreme lately," the knight said again, while Kael only nodded.
