Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 404: Snow On Arielle’s Face
There was an awkward silence between Arielle and Ronan. The man looked back and saw that some of his hair had fallen onto the wet floor. He slowly held his hair and tried to find the bald spot that Arielle had accidentally made on his head.
"Just a moment..." said Arielle, who then ran out of the bathroom.
Seeing Arielle who left him alone, Ronan ran frantically towards the mirror, trying to check the back of his head. However, he had a hard time because he couldn’t see some spots that were not within his reach.
He heard a commotion from outside the bathroom and hurried back to his place. Not long after, Arielle arrived with two small mirrors in her hands.
"What is this for?" Ronan asked.
Arielle gave one mirror to Ronan and placed another on her lap, so Ronan could see the back of his head. Her effort to comfort him were so adorable and Ronan couldn’t help but smile.
Finally, he didn’t find a single bald spot. It was a big relief. Arielle had only cut the bottom half of his hair. Ronan accidentally met Arielle’s eyes through the mirror he was holding. He then cleared his throat slowly.
"Have you ever cut someone’s hair?" Ronan asked, to which Arielle answered with a nod of her head.
"In the South, my father made rules for the guards to have neat uniforms and hair, so the guards usually asked the palace maids for help to cut or fix their hair for free. Tania and I also often help them. So I’m more confident in cutting someone’s hair than shaving a beard," Arielle said. It instantly made Ronan feel relieved.
"Then, I trust my hair to you," Ronan replied, then lowered the mirror that Arielle had brought. He placed the mirror on the edge of the bathtub. Ronan trusted Arielle completely.
And Arielle, who had got Ronan’s trust, began to cut the back of the man’s hair professionally.
"So, you said earlier that Lazarus asked you for help? What help did he ask for?" Ronan asked again.
"Ah, that... Lazarus begged me to help him apologize to Aimee. Honestly, I want Aimee and Lazarus to make up because Aimee is Lord Kael’s sister, and Lazarus is also Lord Kael’s friend. If they kept fighting, it would put Lord Kael in an awkward position, wouldn’t it?"
Ronan nodded in agreement with what Arielle said. "Yeah, Kael is already an awkward fella. He might be uncomfortable with all of this fuss but he chose to keep silent. I know him pretty well."
"But I also don’t want to disappoint any of them. Aimee had told me how she hated Lazarus. That’s why I didn’t want to disappoint Aimee by secretly helping Lazarus. It felt like cheating on Aimee. It was the same with Lazarus. I don’t want to give false hope to Lazarus, thus I had to refused his request," Arielle continued.
One by one Ronan’s hair fell to the floor, and Arielle continued to talk about her worries about the fight between Aimee and Lazarus.
"Do you think they can make up in the future?" Arielle asked as she cleaned the remaining hair from Ronan’s body.
"I don’t know. It all depends on Lazarus. If he remembers his mistake, maybe Aimee will accept his apology. They are both adults. There must be a time when they can communicate well."
"I hope so."
Ronan reached for Arielle’s face to come closer. "You don’t need to care about such things. It is better for you to focus on our wedding preparations. After we clean our bodies, how about you accompany me in my office? Do you have any plans after this?"
"I don’t have any plans. I should have met the person in charge of the decorations, but Aimee didn’t call me."
"Good. Ah, tomorrow I plan to visit the cathedral we will use for our wedding. You want to come with me?" Ronan’s offer made Arielle nod quickly.
"Of course! I want to see it!"

Lazarus joined in, sitting beside William. He brought a bowl full of Frostberries, which he placed on the table.
"What are you talking about?" Lazarus asked curiously.
Aimee silently chose to look elsewhere. Kael, who felt the difference in his sister’s behavior, also looked down. He didn’t reply to Lazarus’ greeting. Only William greeted Lazarus warmly. Lazarus was an insensitive person, but this time he could sense that his presence was not wanted.
"How was your trip to the border? What was the result?" Lazarus asked William who was eating.
The man swallowed the remaining food in his mouth. "Bad. The West wanted to delay the agreement to open a fast lane through the North due to Thebis’ objection. You’d better not mess around these few days because Ronan is in an awful mood. He shouldn’t be approached carelessly."
Lazarus let out a long sigh. Why did William also think that he could just cause trouble? He didn’t know what had happened to him, but Lazarus felt very annoyed right now.
"Aimee, I heard-"
"I have to go back, Brother, William. I need to prepare dinner for Princess Arielle," said Aimee, then immediately got up when Lazarus spoke to her.
Lazarus felt his heart ache from Aimee’s cold attitude. He was stunned in his place. Lazarus could only remain silent. So did William and Kael, who got really awkward because of the tension between Aimee and Lazarus.
"Please excuse me. I have to go back too," Kael said, then left the room, making Lazarus even more depressed.
William just nodded. He also didn’t know what to do with Lazarus right now. Usually, it would be very easy to comfort Lazarus if he was being rejected by a girl.
All he had to do was drink and joke with Lazarus, and the man would be happy again. However, this time, it seemed a little different. William had never seen Lazarus’ face this tense.
William was about to take Lazarus out for a drink, but the man stood up.
"I’m also going out for a bit," said Lazarus, leaving William alone with his unfinished food. After the door was closed by Lazarus, William put down his knife and fork. He thought for a long time.
This shouldn’t be continued. He felt sorry for Kael, who was awkward between Lazarus and Aimee, as well as Lazarus, who looked so pathetic. William thought of a way out for all of them.
Lazarus spent the rest of his time in the garden. He walked here and there aimlessly. Then, he clutched his aching chest. Lazarus had almost forgotten what it was like to be sad. It seemed that the last time Lazarus felt sad was when Ronan fell ill a few years ago due to his family’s tragedy.
He thought about the mistake he had done to make Aimee hate him so much. Was it just because he called her fat? Did he ever say anything worse than that? However, Lazarus had a hard time remembering it. He walked towards the Blackthorn Palace, then kicked the pile of snow in front of him carelessly.
"Ouch!"
He looked up and saw Ronan and Arielle looking at him. He saw Arielle’s face was full of snow, while Ronan glaring at him.
"Fuck me."
