Loving The Cursed Werewolf King-Chapter 774: Arielle And William
Arielle was invited to board the ship. Inside the ship there was a spacious room that will be used to put the traders’ goods. They will spend time there. Then go up to the second floor there are several other rooms.
One will be Arielle’s room, in front of Arielle’s room there was another room that will be used by William as well as Lucas and several other knights. Prince Khaled himself will be in the captain’s quarters.
Arielle saw the room which was quite spacious. There was a small bed attached to the floor. Chairs and tables are equally placed on the floor. Maybe so that when there are storms and big waves, the furniture in the room doesn’t fall apart.
Lucas came in with some clothes for Arielle. After putting all of Arielle’s belongings into the room, Lucas proceed to leave the room. Breakfast is also prepared.
On the table there was a round window where Arielle could see the sea very clearly. Arielle checked her room one more time before she ate the breakfast that Lucas had prepared earlier. Arielle just eat it without any complaint.
Arielle didn’t know what to do to pass the time as they sailed towards Thebis. William, Ronan and Prince Khaled advised Arielle not to leave her room considering that there would be many merchants hanging around the ship. They didn’t want anything to happen to Arielle.
She could only sit daydreaming looking out the window. But the activity was very boring. Arielle also ventured out of her room. Just when Arielle opened the door, William’s bedroom door opened. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
"Your Majesty, where are you going?" asked William who looked in a rush to open the door after hearing the sound of Arielle’s bedroom door opening.
"Not going anywhere. I just wanted to stand by the window to watch the merchants boarding the ships.
"Your Majesty ... "
William wanted to protest but Arielle raised her hand quickly to stop William before he could speak.
"I will wear the coat as well as the hood. No one will see. I’m bored, William. Please understand...."
William took a deep breath. He couldn’t blame Arielle. The man was also starting to feel bored earlier. He looked back at his room and took his jacket to put on. At least if Arielle wants to leave the room, William must always be ready at her side.
"Okay, I can understand, Your Majesty. Then allow me to look after you."
Arielle smiled gratefully for William’s kindness.
"Thank you very much William. You are the best."
"Don’t say it like that. Someone is very jealous, Your Majesty." William muttered making Arielle laugh. Arielle knew who William meant.
"That man is not here now. You can feel more relieved and relax yourself," said Arielle.
"Oh, if only! I wish so too," William muttered under his breath. Unfortunately Arielle did not hear William’s grunts.
The woman stopped at the top of the stairs and sat there. William thought Arielle would sit on one of the benches below but she just chose to sit somewhere away from the crowd.
William didn’t protest much. The man sat behind Arielle but Arielle patted the empty area beside her telling William to sit beside her.
"Your Majesty?"
"I want to ask a few things. It’s uncomfortable if I have to keep looking back when I want to ask a question."
William hesitated for a moment but it was Arielle’s request. He didn’t know what magic that woman has. William couldn’t say no to his queen’s request. The man took one step forward to sit beside Arielle.
"How often do you sail, William?" asked Arielle.
"Hm... quite often but not as often as Lazarus. I’ve only sailed to Thebis a few times as well as to Nieverdell. I have never crossed the ocean to go to another continent like Lazarus."
"Why?"
"Because the ocean that separates the two continents has very big storms, the weather when passing through the ocean cannot be predicted besides that there are many sea monsters nesting there that can sink ships in one sweep."
"Wow, but Lazarus managed to conquer all of that."
"Yup. Therefore Lazarus is very rarely in Northendell. It would take months just to visit one continent and back again. I wouldn’t be able to survive being tossed around on the ocean for months on end. Not like Lazarus."
"If I hear your story, Lazarus sounds really cool," Arielle’s comment made William laugh.
"Ahahaha, but don’t let Lazarus hear this, Your Majesty. I have to admit, Lazarus’ ability in the ocean is crazy. Maybe even Kael or the king couldn’t be like him. Only madmen can conquer the seas."
"What about ships from other continents? Do they also frequently visit this continent?"
William shook his head. Ships from any continent also experience the same problem. There may only be one or two ships a year able to cross the ocean. The rest may have been devoured by the sea monsters.
Arielle wanted to help an old man who was lifting crates. But William held her back. He didn’t want Arielle to be seen. Arielle made up her mind to help him when William shook his head.
The woman could only watch without being able to help. But she felt a little more relieved when a man wearing a black robe helped the man carry his crates.
"William, sorry if I suddenly asked about this..."
"Hmm?"
"About your... family. Do you know where they are?"
Arielle had heard that William had several younger sisters. All of the Ashryver family had left Northendell a few years ago leaving William alone who had sworn to always be by Ronan’s side.
"I don’t know. But I have a feeling they have left the continent."
"Really? Have you looked for them in other kingdoms? Have you tried Nieverdell?"
William shook his head. Ashryver was a fairly well-known family name. If they moved to another kingdom, surely William would hear their names mentioned once or twice on each of his visits to other kingdoms. But every time William carried out his delegation to other kingdoms, he never heard Ashryver’s name at all.
