Lust Meter System: Conquering Beauties-Chapter 39: A Text Back
Liam walked to the door and opened it.
Kelvin stood there, grinning, holding a six-pack of beer.
The bottles were green, wet with condensation. He wore a black hoodie and jeans, his hair a mess.
"Hey, best friend," Kelvin said, shaking the six-pack.
Liam stared at him.
Then he closed the door.
"Yo!" Kelvin’s voice came through the wood. "What the fuck, man?!"
Liam opened it again. "Why are you here?"
Kelvin blinked. "Uh, because I wanted to see my friend? Is that illegal now?"
"Yeah, when it’s ten in the morning."
"So?" Kelvin held up the beer. "It’s never too early to hang out."
Liam raised an eyebrow. "You brought beer at ten AM."
"Damn right I did." Kelvin grinned. "Look, I came by yesterday but you weren’t here. So I came back today. Sooo, Where’d you go?"
Liam sighed. "So what if I wasn’t here today either?"
Kelvin shrugged. "Then I’d find you. Or call you. Or break in. Whatever works."
Liam stared at him, then stepped aside. "Come in."
"That’s what I’m talking about!" Kelvin walked in and dropped onto the couch. He set the six-pack on the coffee table with a thunk, twisted open a bottle, and took a long drink. Foam clung to the rim. He sighed. "Man, I needed this."
He grabbed another bottle and tossed it to Liam.
Liam caught it. The glass was cold and wet in his hand. He twisted off the cap and took a sip. Bitter, sharp. Not bad.
"So," Kelvin said, already halfway through his bottle. "Where were you yesterday?"
Liam set his beer down and leaned forward. "I got a job."
Kelvin stopped mid-sip. "Wait, seriously?"
"Yeah. At Mr. Sam’s store. The corner mart. I’m doing deliveries."
"No shit?" Kelvin set his beer down. "Dude, that’s awesome. Good for you, man. I know you’ve been stressed about money."
Liam blinked. "You’re not gonna make fun of me?"
"Why would I make fun of you?" Kelvin looked confused. "You needed money. You got a job. That’s smart."
’Huh. Wasn’t expecting that.’
Kelvin’s voice was warm, honest. It caught Liam off guard.
Kelvin leaned back.
"Meanwhile, I had a great time yesterday. After I couldn’t find you, Kira started blowing up my phone. So I went to her place. Dude, she almost killed me with sex for hours. I thought I was gonna pass out."
Kelvin laughed, loud and sharp, the sound filling the small apartment. "Oh, she’s not my girlfriend, man."
Liam froze. "What?"
"We’re not dating," Kelvin said casually. "She’s my sex partner."
"Wait, hold on." Liam set his beer down. "You guys were calling each other babe at the party. You were all over each other. I thought you were together."
Kelvin grinned. "Dude, haven’t you heard of a sex partner before?"
"I know what a sex partner is," Liam said. "I just didn’t know you guys were like that."
"Yeah, man. No strings. Just fun." Kelvin shrugged. "It’s perfect."
’Huh. It actually does sound perfect.’
Kelvin leaned forward. "So. The job. Tell me more."
"I’m doing deliveries," Liam said. "Riding this busted bike around, dropping off groceries."
"Sounds boring."
"It’s, actually." Liam paused, considering whether to mention the next part, then decided to go for it.
"And I met this girl who works there. Elsa. She’s the one running the register while the old man handles his other store."
Kelvin’s eyes immediately lit up like someone had flipped a switch, his entire body language changing in an instant. "Oh shit. Okay, now we’re talking. Is she hot? Give me details, man."
"She’s so annoying, but like... she’s also hot," Liam said. "White hair, huge boobs. But yeah, she’s got a boyfriend, so."
"Damn." Kelvin’s face fell slightly, his excitement deflating like a balloon.
He took another long sip of his beer, clearly disappointed. "Always the hot ones that are taken. But anyway, what about the actual job? Anything interesting happen? Any crazy customers or weird situations?"
Liam hesitated, his fingers tightening slightly around the cold glass bottle in his hand. Then he leaned forward, his voice dropping lower, more deliberate. "I delivered to Miss Kelly."
Kelvin froze completely, his entire body going rigid. His eyes went wide, his mouth falling open slightly. "Wait. Hold on. Miss Kelly? Like, our Miss Kelly? The philosophy lecturer? That Miss Kelly?"
"Yeah."
"Holy shit." Kelvin set his beer down on the table with a heavy thunk, his full attention now completely locked on Liam. His eyes were practically bulging out of his head. "What was she like? Was she hot? I mean, obviously she’s hot in class, but like, was she hot at home too? What was she wearing? You have to tell me everything."
Liam’s lips curved into a slow smirk. "She answered the door in a nightgown."
Kelvin’s jaw dropped open so far it looked like it might actually unhinge. "No. No fucking way. You’re lying."
"I’m dead serious, silk. Thin as hell. Barely covering anything. I could see everything through it."
"Dude." Kelvin lunged forward and grabbed Liam’s shoulder with both hands, shaking him slightly, his grip tight and desperate. "You have to give me her address. Right now. I’m begging you. Please. I’ll do anything. I’ll pay you. I’ll clean your apartment for a month. Whatever you want."
Liam laughed, shaking his head slowly, clearly enjoying Kelvin’s desperation. "I’m not done talking yet."
Kelvin froze mid-shake, his hands still gripping Liam’s shoulder. "What do you mean you’re not done? There’s more?"
Liam leaned back slightly, his voice dropping to a low, dramatic tone, drawing out the moment for maximum effect. "I lost my virginity."
Silence.
Complete, total silence filled the apartment.
Kelvin stared at him, his mouth hanging open, his expression completely frozen somewhere between shock, disbelief, and something else Liam couldn’t quite identify.
"Wait," Kelvin said slowly, his voice barely above a whisper. "You... you did what?"
"I lost my virginity."
"Dude!" Kelvin’s face suddenly exploded into the biggest grin Liam had ever seen, stretching from ear to ear. "Holy shit! Holy fucking shit! Who was it? Was it Elsa? Did something happen between you two at work? Are you guys like, a thing now or something? I knew you were changing, man, but damn! This is huge!"
Liam waited patiently, letting Kelvin make all the guesses he could possibly muster, his smile widening slowly and deliberately, like a villain in a movie about to reveal his master plan.
"You’re wrong," Liam said quietly, his voice calm and measured.
Kelvin paused, his grin faltering slightly, confusion crossing his face. "What? Then who was it?"
Liam let the silence stretch for another beat, building the tension, then spoke. "I lost it to Miss Kelly. The same Miss Kelly everyone in class wants to fuck. Including you."
Silence.
Kelvin stared at him, his expression completely frozen, his eyes wide, his mouth hanging open.
’I think I actually broke his brain.’
"Look, dude," Liam started, preparing to explain, "I’m—"
Kelvin suddenly lunged forward and wrapped Liam in the tightest hug he’d ever experienced, his arms crushing around Liam’s shoulders.
"I’m so fucking proud of you," Kelvin said, his voice cracking slightly with genuine emotion. "You’re a legend. Every single man on earth is saluting you right now. Every. Single. One. Even the ones in heaven. Even the ones who’ve been dead for a thousand years. You did the impossible, bro."
Liam laughed, caught completely off guard, and patted Kelvin awkwardly on the back. "Dude, I honestly thought you’d be mad. Like, she’s insanely hot. You wanted her. Everyone wanted her. And I’m the one who got her."
Kelvin pulled back from the hug, his hands still gripping Liam’s shoulders, his grin somehow even wider than before. "No way, man. A win for you is a win for me. She got bagged by one of us. That’s all that matters. We’re a team. Always have been."
"I definitely wasn’t expecting you to say that."
"I’m serious. I’m not going to lie that I’m not a bit jealous, but I’m happy for you." Kelvin paused. "So when are you doing it again? Because I’ve got a wardrobe full of just condom in my bedroom. Like, you can say I’m an ambassador of some sort."
Liam laughed. "I don’t know. But she said we’d do it again."
Kelvin placed his hand firmly on Liam’s shoulder, pulling him a little closer, his grip tight and brotherly. "So now you’ve got your own sex partner. Just like me and Kira. Only you got a big one"
"Yeah. You could say that."
"Dude, I can’t still believe it." Kelvin suddenly pulled out his phone from his pocket, his fingers moving rapidly across the screen, typing something with intense focus.
"We need to celebrate properly. Hanging out here and drinking beer isn’t enough anymore. This deserves something bigger."
Liam blinked, confused. "What are you—"
"I’ll be back later tonight," Kelvin said abruptly, standing up from the couch and heading toward the door with sudden purpose.
"I’ve got some stuff I need to handle first, but we’re going out. Trust me on this. It’s gonna be good."
And just like that, Kelvin was gone, the door closing behind him with a solid click.
Liam sat there on the armrest of the couch, staring at the closed door, his beer still in his hand.
’What the hell just happened?’
His phone buzzed in his pocket.
He pulled it out quickly, his heart jumping slightly, expecting it to be Kelvin with more details or maybe finally a response from Tasha.
But it wasn’t either of them.
Sofia~ Hey
Liam stared at the screen, his thumb hovering over the keyboard, his mind racing.
’Sofia?’
