"That was a little too easy, are you sure we didn’t miss anything?" Martha asked.

"What would we have missed? It’s the mating season, security isn’t going to be a priority, everyone around the world is having fun, and we are supposed to be having fun too," Mabel spoke.

"Do you want to visit a male?" Isabella asked Mabel.

"I don’t know, do you want to?" Mabel asked her right back.

"No, I already made a pact with Ethan. I can’t have sex with another male in this world other than Ethan, and I’m going to bear his children when the time comes," Isabella spoke.

"What kind of pact is it?"

The rest of the girls began asking her questions, but Martha already knew what she was talking about; she also can’t have sex with anyone, but Ethan didn’t tell her anything about having his children.

"I’m a princess; it’s only natural," Isabella spoke.

"Maybe I should see a male, I and Ethan aren’t that close like you guys are"

"You do know, having sex with a male during mating season can get you pregnant; there’s an 80% percent chance of getting pregnant," Freya said.

"Maybe she’ll use the pregnancy elixir" Mary spoke.

"Then you won’t be able to bear children for another five years; it’s not worth it. Besides, where are we going first?" Freya asked.

"Anywhere, we should visit an eatery before visiting Hannah; I’m a little hungry," Isabella spoke.

The group walked forward with Isabella and Mabel in the lead; Isabella already had an idea where they were heading; this wasn’t her first time walking around since she usually visited Selena during her training.

The sun was already shining even though it wasn’t afternoon yet, but it was close; the streets weren’t as busy as they used to be, and only humans could be seen walking the street.

All the entire beast population in the city was somewhere; it was a place built underground strictly used only by beastkin during mating season, and males were sent there by the Queen.

Humans could also visit males as there are specific places to do that, and most humans have access to human males and not beastkin males in the hope of birthing another human male.

It took them a while to reach but they finally arrived at the eatery.

"I’ve eaten here before, their food is really tasty," Mabel spoke as Isabella pushed the door open.

Also, Isabella was in disguise as she covered her entire face with a cloth, leaving only her eyes; if she hadn’t done that, she would have been recognized by someone since she was the princess.

"Hello there" a woman quickly rushed to answer the group as the eatery was empty.

They all sat down around a circular table with chairs which was meant for groups like them; Isabella had visited here frequently, so she ordered a meal for all of them.

"We’ll have the Dragonfire roast and vegetables with bread and mushrooms stew" Isabella spoke.

"Wonderful, we’ll have it ready in no time" she spoke as she hurriedly walked away.

What Isabella ordered was their most expensive dish and for a group of seven during mating season when businesses are down, it was wonderful.

"We might have different preferences?" Maybe said.

"You can’t have when it comes to this; it’s wonderful," Isabella replied.

"I’ve eaten Dragonfire roast, it’s amazing but I don’t know how it tastes here?" Freya said.

"Dragonfire roast, what does that even mean?" Mary asked.

"It’s roasted boar enriched with different spices and ingredients; don’t worry, you’ll like it" Isabella said.

"Isn’t it going to be expensive?" Martha asked.

"I have no idea if it’s expensive or not; when I come to eat, I just tell my maid to pay, and most of the time, I take it back, or I send my maid to buy it for me," Isabella replied.

"I’m sorry, we live in different worlds" Martha replied.

Crystal was the only one who hadn’t spoken a word since they left the academy, she had nothing to add to the conversation and wasn’t even interested in talking.

She had also tasted the food Isabella ordered, so she had no complaints about it, and just like Freya, she was also bored but just kept to herself.

After waiting for some time, the food finally arrived; it took three servers and some trips back and forth to serve them, and after arranging their plates, the woman told Isabella the amount, and she just nodded her head in response.

The scent alone was enough to convince Martha and Mary that it was marvelous, and once they took the first bite of the meat, they found themselves wishing they had tasted something like this a long time ago.

The girls began eating immediately, but then the door to the eatery opened again as someone stepped in.

The woman quickly rushed to greet her new customer as she sat far from the group, it was no other person than Miss Maria.

The girls didn’t care who walked inside so none of them looked at her, and she spoke in a low voice as she ordered a basic meal.

"Should we go to a bar next? We might not get a chance like this; I think we should enjoy it to the fullest," Mabel spoke.

"We have to visit Hannah first, and imagine we go to a bar and get drunk; how do you think we’ll find our way back, and it’s still a little too early"? Isabella replied.

"You’re no fun; maybe we can sneak some drinks into the academy," Mabel said with a smile.

"That isn’t a bad idea, I think we...oh no...we are dead, we are really dead," Freya spoke as she was sitting across from Miss Maria, and both of them just locked eyes.

"How are we dead, what are you..." Martha, who was sitting beside Freya froze as she saw her. Then the rest of the girls turned around and saw Miss Maria staring at them with a smile on her face.
