Mage Legend-Chapter 396: Travel and Travel Beyond Travel - Nine Incoming Dragon_4
"Shut up! Traitor!" The "expression" of the Brass Dragon suddenly became serious: "There are many evils in this world, and theft and deception are the most despicable among them. Hand over what you have stolen, and I will consider the punishment you deserve."
"No! Absolutely not!" Eagle Head seemed to suddenly gain strength, pushing away the two people pressing down on him: "Even if I am destroyed, I will not let you succeed!"
He suddenly pulled out a black stone from his bosom. In an instant, it seemed to absorb all the surrounding temperature, and the light dimmed. Lynch gripped his Magic Wand, a tremendous suction making it hard for him to stand firm. With his normal vision, he could clearly see the heart-shaped Black Crystal Stone, but his Eye of Insight saw nothing.
"Let’s be destroyed together!" Eagle Head fiercely smashed the stone towards the ground.
"No!" The massive claw of the Brass Dragon reached out, but it was impossible to catch the falling stone. Eagle Head’s body had a huge hole pierced through it, blood gushing down along the dragon’s scales. However, his face bore a smile, as if he could see the stone shattering, its immense power destroying everything around.
The black stone sank into the ship’s deck, like falling into soft mud. It bounced twice on the "softened" wood and rolled to the Mage’s feet.
Lynch’s left hand left the surface of the ship and picked up the stone. He looked at the dying Yida Eagle Head, expressionless. The stone in his hand seemed to lose its manic power all at once, lying quietly in the Mage’s palm.
The Brass Dragon placed the one dead and two wounded Druids on the shore and turned to look at Lynch. It said: "Mage, thank you for your help. The Great Druid will remember the friendship you showed today. Now you can..."
At this point, it suddenly stared straight at Lynch’s arm, the refined gold arm instantly evoking memories from long ago. The Brass Dragon displayed a happy smile, the joy from the depths of its heart spreading across its face.
"I suddenly have a better idea." The Brass Dragon laughed as it twisted its body. Lynch was surprised to see the huge dragon in front of him transform into someone as tall as himself, a handsome young human standing before him.
"My name is Cicy, I’m a bard," said the person after the Brass Dragon’s transformation: "Is there a spare room on your ship..."
Lynch looked at the "Cicy" who couldn’t close his mouth, always feeling like he fell into some sort of trap. He hurriedly handed the stone to the Brass Dragon: "It’s better to take this thing back quickly."
Cicy shook his head and said to the Mage: "Actually, it’s most suitable to leave it with you. As a giant dragon who has lived for a long time, I would never deceive you." He looked around, magically conjured a bard’s usual three-stringed harp by his side, and said excitedly: "When shall we set sail?"
Lynch barely resisted the impulse to throw the stone into the water, constantly reminding himself, "The guy opposite is a huge Brass Dragon, his strength is not as this human appearance suggests."
Seeing Lynch unresponsive, Cicy jumped into the helmsman’s position. He couldn’t wait and said: "Mage, let’s go quickly, this sun is unbearably scorching. Even I find it somewhat intolerable. If we sail quickly, the oncoming wind will make everyone much more comfortable. I say, don’t just stand there motionless!" 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
Lynch had a constant feeling that he had definitely taken on a big "trouble."
