Chapter 1446: Chapter 1054: Master and Maid_2

"The premise of no demigod interference in the world is that Level Six of Hell becomes their cage! If the cage doesn’t exist, demigods will inevitably become a calamity for the earth!"

"But only you would find such a loophole."

Ash couldn’t help but laugh, "Ordinary people seldom suspect the world has gone awry simply because their past selves didn’t seize the chance to wreak havoc."

"I didn’t say anything." Vishi snorted, tilting her head, "You’re slandering me at the first opportunity."

"Bear with it, and soon you’ll get used to being slandered by me." Ash said, "I have to often remind you of what kind of person you are to prevent myself from being enchanted by you."

Vishi raised her eyebrows, suddenly leaning forward, pressing Ash’s abdomen with both hands. Pressing the abdomen wasn’t an issue, but bending over like this, the elastic potential of her maid corset was stretched to the limit, pressing right onto the ghostly trail.

"...You’re blocking me."

"Am I?" Vishi feigned a look, "Nope, you can still see the bluish traces, right?"

"Do you have to press like this?"

"You want a lap pillow and to relax, it’s the only way." Vishi’s voice was light and cheerful, "Bear with it, you’ll get used to it soon."

She paused, exhaled a small breath, and raised her chin, "If you can’t bear it... huh!?"

The maid’s body stiffened, spine straightening instinctively, feeling Ash’s fingers moving under her corset. She lightly bit her lower lip, fingers pressing Ash’s abdomen with all her might, almost digging her nails into flesh.

Ash didn’t bother arguing with Vishi. He had made some progress, stumbling upon the partial outline of the first character. With Vishi volunteering as a writing board, it was convenient for him to write. Writing in the air was quite troublesome, and he needed to quickly grasp this inspiration to deduce Harvey’s clues.

Vishi pressed her lips tightly, eyes fixed on Ash’s exposed waistline. Occasionally, Ash wrote with such force she felt herself trembling softly, feeling a sense of humiliation as though she was being toyed with.

She wasn’t unprepared for being toyed with by Ash, having been ready since her first day as the maid. But it should be her, the Ghost Prophet, using her beauty as a trap, leading Ash to fall into the eternal abyss of desire, his very soul becoming part of her collection... not serving as his temporary writing board!

Such impertinence from a mere Ash...

"With your ability," Ash suddenly said, "you should be able to somewhat change the Sword Witch’s opinion of you."

Vishi paused, calming her mood swiftly.

"Aren’t you afraid I might enchant them?"

"The Silver Lamp Society is watching you."

"But why would I do that?"

"Because we’ll be spending a lot of time together." Ash said, "From what I know of you, whether you like them or not, you’ll make them like you, to make everything you do easier."

"Do you really want such a harmonious harem?" Vishi chuckled, "I can help you with that."

Ash sighed, "You know that’s not what I mean. During dinner, they... you wouldn’t want to always be the target, right?"

Vishi shook her head, twin-drill pigtails gently swaying, "The Witch’s suggestion is quite good. I don’t feel targeted."

"You know the Witch’s personality wouldn’t come up with such a plan." Ash exhaled, "The Silver Lamp uses open tactics; plundering the treasury not only gets us resources but also makes me dislike you... the new and old grudges of the Silver Lamp against you mean she can’t possibly favor you, but you can still win over the Sword Witch."

"Why do you care about me?" Vishi laughed, "And don’t act like it’s all the Silver Lamp’s doing. She’s always gauging your mind, trying to do what you’re not suited for. ’Use me like a rag and then hate me,’ it’s not just what she wants, it’s what she thinks you want."

After a moment of silence, Ash slowly said, "So I just talked to the Silver Lamp, hoping she wouldn’t focus on guessing my thoughts."

"And I care not for you, but for the Sword Maiden and the others." He said calmly, "I don’t want you to stir their inner darkness... once there’s someone in the team that everyone looks down on and bullies, not only does the bullied suffer, but the bullies’ minds also become twisted."

"What I fear more is that they might set you up in the future. Leading you into an environment that demands a massacre, and you’ve never been bound by moral rules. If you end up covered in blood standing before me, claiming you were set up by them..."

Ash paused, his voice sounding somewhat weary, "Having you and Dedarose, two villains, in the team is sufficient."

"So I hope you get along with them, at least not becoming the outlet for their dark emotions."

"However, if such a thing really happens, and you swear by the ruby chain that you’re not lying..."

Then would you be willing to protect me?

Vishi sneered inwardly.

Ash sees through the Silver Lamp’s plan too shallowly. The Silver Lamp’s first plan is to make Ash dislike her, but if Ash doesn’t, it moves to the second plan — when everyone else despises her, Ash, being her only believer, would naturally become her spiritual support, the light she can rely on.
