Malevolent Warlock: Sin Of Eternity-Chapter 177: The Incident At The Auction House
Rottened black soil soaked in clear ying water, bamboo shoots to act as channeling route for the following ying water.
Water mist piranhas, to create the misty environment to help propagate the growth of the plants and several tanks of fresh blood no older than 30 days.
This right here was the formular for creating a bloodmist lilly farm. It was an age old formular lost in time and covered by the ages.
The BloodMist lilly was a treasure that could improve the potential of blood type warlocks and creatures by a large portion. In fact, it didn’t just work on blood type warlocks, even ordinary warlocks would recieve a great boon from bloodmist lillys.
So much so that it had almost caused a serious incident years back in the territory when the formular leaked. However, before it could do any serious damage, all those who had memorised and were mass producing these lillys were killed by a mysterious power causing it to dissappear
Just as it was raising it faded into obscurity.
"Tempered Thunder Steel, sold!!"

From the front of the auction hall a short, middle aged man with a pointed nose banged a gavel with excitement in his eyes. He sort of looked like a penguin, a really greedy penguin.
This auction hall was called the Seekers Auction house.
It was a small auction house carrying about 100 people. Mostly traders and small scale vendors, although it wasn’t the most grand auction house in BloodRock city, it contained a good amount of treasures one wouldn’t otherwise find in markets.
"Green leopard dung"
"100 phase 1 blood gems"
"150 phase 1 blood gems"
"200 phase 1 blood gems"
Leon didn’t know before entering the auction house, but blood gems were rare and expensive!!! If not for Leon bringing out such top grade Jewellery....the auction house would not bother giving him 30,000 blood gems on his auction card.
"500 phase 1 blood gems!!!"
So far, this was the highest amount someone had spent on any treasure in this auction.
"So boring" Ember said with a yawn. It didn’t look like it, but half moon was actually loaded. He was one of the most influencial people in the faceless mercenary company because of his relationship with Damien and his contribution to the organisation.
So it made sense that Ember had seen alot of premium grade auction houses in her time with her father.
"Hmm, you’re right. It is pretty boring" Leon agreed with her. He too had seen some grand auctions, the likes that made everyone from his old world bring out their life savings for....this one was lackluster at best.
"Hmmm" Arian looked at Leon with the side of her eyes. When Leon was her prisoner she had investigated him thoroughly. She knew his background, his status as a cripple and even his fathers name.
He was from a poor background, had he even seen an auction house from the outside?
Of course, she still had no idea that Leon’s soul was not of this world.
"Special request. uhhhh, rottened black soil....soaked in Ying water....30 years old." The auctioneer read through a paper at hand with squinted brows while looking strangly.
The auction houses had their own storages of materials they had accumlated over the years, so if anyone seeking to join the auction wanted anything in specific to appear in the auction they could request for it and they would place it in the auction if they had it.
This would allow them to evaluate if the treasure had somehow appreciated in value.
"This one is going for 500 gems?" The auctioneer frowned, he had no idea why this thing he didn’t recognise was valued so high.
While requesting for a treasure from the auction house, Leon was automatically allowed to place the first bid, so he placed a low one at 500 blood gems hoping that because of the low price no one would even bother looking at it.
Unfortunately, he didn’t know how precious blood gems were. He had indirectly shot himself in the leg with this ’Smart move’
"600 phase 1 blood gems"
"650 phase 1 blood gems"
"665 phase 1 blood gems"
Most of them in the auction hall were business men and women, their instincts were sharp as a blade and as soon as they tasted blood in the river they would swim over like sharks.
Someone had requested this treasure and was willing to cough up 500 phase 1 blood gems for it. It was safe to say that this person would buy it at a much higher rate if pushed to a corner.
They would get it and sell it to the buyer at a higher rate. Instant profits!!!!.
But of course, they would have to outbid Leon first.
"1,000 phase 1 blood gems,"
From the back of the auction hall, Leon lifted his auction card and said his bid causing the entire hall to grow silent.
A thousand? That was alot of money to spend at ones. A few of the smaller business men went quiet.
But the ones with slightly more capital saw opportunity. It looked like they had a little silk pants youngmaster in their hands. They immediately assumed that Leon was one of those kids from big families who came to spend some time out in the city.
It would be much easier to extort Leon than they thought.
"1100 phase 1 blood gems"
"1200 phase 1 blood gems"
"1350 phase 1 blood gems"
They continued biding trying to make Leon think that this would go on forever. They wanted to bully him into quiting. However what happened next caused them to stop in their tracks.
"2500 phase 1 blood gems"
From Leon’s both, Ember raised his card with excitement in her eyes. Leon had allowed her to bid and she upped the price by 2.5x the former bid.
And from the look in her eyes she would definitely not stop. She looked like they definitely had the money to spare.
This immediately caused them to take a step back.
Except one.
"2600 phase 1 blood gems"
"3000 phase 1 blood gems"
"3100 phase 1 blood gems"
"4000 phase 1 blood gems"
This merchant wasn’t so big, or even popular in the region. He was just average, but he knew how to take risks. He knew how to risk it all and come out on top.
"FUCK!!!" Beside Leon Ember hit her thigh in frustration. She wanted to just murder this guy infront of them. He wouldn’t give in no matter how high he upped the price, what kind of logic was this?
It wasn’t like he really needed the soil, he just wanted to rip them off. Why did he have to he so adamant about it?
"Don’t bother yourself, we will get it back from him" Leon smirked and assured Ember.
He wouldn’t be surprised if this sickly looking man had spent all he had to try and rip Leon off. It was typical in all honesty.
"Winner!!!"
Shocking the whole crowd, the sickly merchant won the bidding at last. He had stuck to his gut till the very end and managed to come out on top
Of course, it wasn’t quite clear if this was a good thing.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
"I understand that you might need this for something important young sir, but I’m afraid I can’t part with. You might not know, but my great grandfather was buried in that soil...I just....,"
Outside the auction house, Leon and the sickly merchant walked out side by side as the merchant negotiated with Leon.
"No no, friend, this just won’t do. Why don’t you come to my place so I can entertain you" Leon persuaded.
This sickly bastard was slimy and Shameless. He didn’t even mind using his ancestor’s to swindle people.
"Sigh, I’m not sure if this is a good idea" he mused with eyes blinded with greed. He didn’t even think of the possibility that Leon was planing to Rob him.
While they walked down the road toward the carriage.
—shing
A sharp edge cut through the wind and barreled at Leon with blinding speed. It came out of nowhere and caught everyone off guard...including Leon.
But luckily, there was someone who wasn’t caught off guard as this person had been starring intensely at Leon’s previous interaction.
Ember.
As the daggers tip came drove towards Leon’s heart Embers blasted forward with the wind and....
—Boom!!!!
Defected the attack.
An assassination attempt!!!
"Hmmpp!!" Noticing what had just happened, wolf one immediately rode forward and stabbed the assassin In the shoulder and sent him into a wall.
However, this wasn’t the end, another assassin appeared from the blue and attacked towards Leon.
This one was much closer than the last, but with the first attack, all of Leon’s people were already on red alert..
"Neigh!!!"
"Neigh!!"
"Neigh!!!"
The all sprang forward and provided protection for Leon In a moments notice. I’d these assassins wanted Leon’s head they would have to go through them.
"They seem to be well trained....I wonder which clan they are from"
In the sky above the market place, two familiar faces could be seen looking down at the scene unfolding.
Zaldris and fiona....
