"15 units of jade frog bamboo sticks"

"20kg of rotten black soil"

"Foam pellets"

In a dojo inside Leon’s courtyard, he could be seen seated cross-legged in the middle of the floor with Arian and Ember beside him.

And in front of him, wolf 1 Could be seen giving logistics on the products gotten from their day out in the market and auction house.

"This good, keep them safe for now, when we are ready I will give you a call." Leon said

It wasn’t just wolf 1 that was here infront of Leon, there were several construction workers in bear chested Apparel, and tattered clothes.

These workers were from a small workshop not too far away from the courtyard, they weren’t popular and their skill was not so great. However, this was what leon wanted For this project.

He needed people to work on his project without actually knowing what the project was all about, these guys were the perfect blend of dumb and ill skilled to tell apart Leon’s plans

But this wasn’t the time, he still had to gather some things for this project. They would have to wait.

"Hmm, thank you sir" the workers bowed. Leon had given them a day’s worth of gold for a job they didn’t even do....what would they receive after doing the actual job? They couldn’t let go of this big fish.

"Just don’t dissapoint me," Leon smiled, these guys would be useful in the long run, but he had to make sure not to bring in the wrong crowd at the moment.

"Yes" they echoed, bowed their heads and left the dojo.

"As for you...." Panning his eyes to the side of the dojo where a sickly old man could be seen grovelling on the ground, Leon smiled.

The old merchant was called Varian. He was a medium sized merchant who had seemingly gotten rich fron ’Luck’. He had the habit of being rather erratic with his decisions, but for some reason they always came out ontop. Leaving him with staggering profits each time.

He had made an error this time though, everyday for the thief, and one day for the owner.

"I’m sorry oh honorable one, I had not idea that you were a mountain. I made an error in provoking mighty sir. Please forgive my insolence" varian grovelled and pleaded, kowtowing desperately.

He didn’t know that Leon was a level 3 warlock of the BloodSerpent clan. If not, he would have stayed as far away from the auction houses as he possibly could on that very day.

Of only he had known, he wouldn’t be in this situation.....If only he had known.

"Shut up old man!!! You weren’t this respectful a while ago" as the old merchant pleaded and begged, Ember Berated him at the top of her voice. She didn’t like the old man at all and even wanted to torture him.

The fool had the guts to embarrass her in front of Leon. She wanted nothing more than to rip his head from his body.

However, Leon wanted something else and there was nothing she could do about it other than be hostile towards the old trash.

Hearing Embers response, Varian shuddered in fear. Embers reaction showed that this might actually go very wrong if he didn’t take this seriously.

"Calm down Ember, let me do the talking" with the raise of his left hand, Leon calmed Ember down.

"You have offended me old man, but I will give you the opportunity make up for it...." with a sly smile on his face, Leon looked at varians figure grovelling on the floor.

His smile radiated with a cunning and mischievous glow akin to that of a devil. Whatever he was about to propose would definitely turn out badly for the old man.

"I am at your mercy"

With no choice, varian caved in to his fate. A level 3 warlock, even with all his wealth he wouldn’t be able to afford one, talk less of 3.

Leon was the boss here, There was absolutely nothing he could do.

"You will work for me for a set period of time, look at it as a type of internship. You work for free, and you gain experience" Leon slowly spoke to him with a very calm tone.

He had offended Leon, so it was natural for him to be punished. However, Leon’s words were worse than they sounded. He said internship, but what he really meant was a type of slavery.

This fact, varian would come to understand very soon.

"I am at your mercy" with a kowtow, varian accepted his fate and hope for the best.

"Good!!!" Leon nodded.

This kind of power, to turn someone into a slave by decree. It was exhilarating. It was no wonder the mages didn’t want to let the warlocks be.

"Now leave" growing bored of the look on the old man’s face, Leon ordered for him to leave and one of the wolf brothers came in to carry him out.

"Okay now, let’s talk" Leon turned to look at both Arian and Ember with the sides of his eyes.

The invitation allowed Leon to enter the clan with only two guards. This was to accommodate for his girls, it seemed like the clan was already making considerations for Leon’s comfort.

But, he wouldn’t let his guard down, there was a need to dicuss on a plan of action before even thinking of entering the clan.

Meanwhile,

"There’s alot going on, why do you find this as the most suitable time to see me?" From behind a vailed room, the voice of a young man resounded with a tired tone.

This tiredness wasn’t from a lack of sleep, This tiredness was born from pure exhaustion. He had been working for so long on so many things and the time he got to rest, more work was presented before him.

"There has been an influx of exceptionally powerful clan members these past few days and the clan is struggling on how to manage them" the person infront of the vail reported.

It started slowly with some small amounts of blood serpent clan members emerged on their door steps, but with time more and more trooped in..

This wasn’t the issue, they had alot of space in the main clan and surrounding of BloodRock city. But these weren’t the only ones showing up.

Warlocks at the peak of level 3 had started popping up recently intimidating the position holders of previously owned offices in the clan. If this continued chaos would soon break loose.

"I see...then its time for a reshuffle. Prepare for a blood competition" with an evil smirk on his face, the man behind the mirror said.

If the new arrivals were stronger than those in current sittings, then a change in their structuring was needed. What mattered was the clans power, not any type of bureaucracy.

But of course, this was quite problematic. The blood competition called for the total upheaval of the entire clans positions. That included his position.

He didn’t think this through at all because ontop of the rock in the middle of the city, a pair of eyes snapped open whilst looking down at the clan with mischievous eyes.

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Two days later.

Leon’s carrige could be observed making its way down the streets of BloodRock city. It looked in conspicuous as compared to how Leon had been moving recently.

He didn’t bring the wolf brothers only one of the to ride the carrige, no alterage. Just him, Arian and Ember.

"Halt!!"

They soon arrived before a gate and were stopped by the guards.

"None members are not allowed inside the main family house!!" One of the guards spoke adamantly. There were hostilities in the air nowadays.

With thw new influx of talents into the main clan they had to make alot of changes which was affecting the old members of the clan.

"We are here on the request of the high Arbiter" from the carrige window, Leon’s hand streched out revealing a scroll with a seal painted in gold.

"Hm??!!" The guards eyes widened with shock. That was the High Arbiter’s seal!!! The head of the enforcement unit of the clan.

This was way above their pay grade.

"You.....you" While one guard stuttered due to shock, another from behind ran forward and bowed, welcome Sire to the main clan.

"May I take over the carrige from here?" The guard bowed.

He was sent here specifically by his bosses to recieve a vip guest. So the moment he saw Leon’s seal, he understood exactly what to do.

"Sure, wolf 5, you are dismissed" from inside the carrige, Leon gave a simple command and without protest, the carriage rider came down and allowed for the guard to do his job.

Even though he didn’t quite trust the bloodserpent clan. He had to respect its rules and the decision of their high ups.

Not long after, Leon’s carraige rode into the clans gates on invitation of the high Arbiter.
