"CAN I TRUST you, Sera-ssi?"

"I don’t care whether you trust me or not," Hong Sera said, still smiling politely. "You have no choice but to hand over Lee Junsu to me anyway. Sanha-ssi, I’m sure you already know by now that you’re powerless against my family. If it wasn’t for Ilsung Group, you would have been caught by my brothers already."

Sanha remained smiling, but his eyes said he was pissed.

To be honest, the idol looked scary at the moment.

But she didn’t show her fear.

She was confident that Kwon Gaon and Yang Jaewon could protect her, after all.

Well, that wasn’t something that she needed to hide.

"I’m sure that’s what you want to happen, too, Sanha-ssi," Hong Sera said. "Now that Kim Heedo only remembers Lee Junsu and not Sohee Oppa, I won’t put it past Lee Junsu to take advantage of the situation."

"You make it sound like Lee Junsu is desperate for Kim Heedo, Sera-ssi."

"Isn’t he?"

"Sanha-ssi, don’t worry about my brothers," Hong Sera said. It wasn’t like she wanted to appease Sanha. She just wanted to make sure that her plan would succeed since she didn’t want Lee Junsu to get in the way of Kim Heedo and Park Sohee. "I can convince them not to hurt Lee Junsu. But he still has to pay for what he did to me. I can promise you that Lee Junsu won’t die, but I can’t say the same for his career."

Her older brothers wouldn’t be satisfied unless Lee Junsu lost something important to him.

"Then consider it done. We’re not criminals like you."

Sanha just laughed while shaking his head. "I don’t want to hear that from a chaebol, Sera-ssi."

Hong Sera glared at Sanha.

The idol-thug just shrugged.

"Sanha, were you born an Alpha?" Yang Jaewon asked after Hong Sera and Sanha closed their deal. "I thought you were a Beta."

"Yeah. I was born an Alpha," Sanha said, nodding. And then he pointed at his arm while acting like he was injecting something in it. "I hide it by injecting medicine that’s supposed to calm an Alpha’s pheromones. But with a certain amount, that medicine effectively hides my scent as an Alpha."

"I think I know what you’re talking about," Kwon Gaon said, frowning. "Increasing that medicine’s dosage is illegal."

Sanha chuckled while shaking his head. "So what? Are you going to call the police on me, kids?"

Kwon Gaon and Yang Jaewon both glared at Sanha.

"Sanha-ssi, you act like a perfect gentleman in front of the camera," Hong Sera said while sighing. "But you’re obnoxious in person. I have to commend your PR Team for giving you the flawless angel concept."

"WHATEVER you’re planning, quit it. My son won’t go back to you."

Lee Junsu clenched his hands tight after hearing what President Kang Nari— Kim Heedo’s mother— said to him.

Even so, he kept his mouth shut.

These people could be my future in-laws, so I have to get on their good side.

"Junsu-ssi, we already talked to Hong Sera," Vice Chairman Kim Dohan— Kim Heedo’s father— added to what his wife said. "We’ll hand you and Sanha-ssi over to Hong Sera. To be honest, Lee Junsu felt a pang in his chest.

When he was dating Kim Heedo, he tried to convince him to meet his parents several times. There was even a time when Kim Heedo begged him to be introduced to his parents during his birthday party.

However, Lee Junsu turned him down every time.

SOHEE’s jaw almost dropped to the floor after listening to what Lim Garam, whom he was talking to on the phone, said.

He called Lim Garam to ask him for advice after Kim Heedo and Dr. Seong Kyungmin left the room to let him rest. But instead of sleeping, he used that opportunity to call the person he needed to talk to at the moment.

After all, Hyung-nim helped his husband recover his memories before.
