SOHEE felt emotional while looking at his Baby Kim Woohee who wore a traditional hanbok for her first ever birthday party.

She’s already one year old.

He still remembered how he burst out crying when he saw his Baby Woohee in the NICU after giving birth to her prematurely.

My baby was so tiny back then, and I thought she wouldn’t make it.

If he didn’t have Kim Heedo’s support back then, he would have broken down.

Sohee let out a soft gasp when he saw Kim Woohee grab the former Chairman Kim Hyungsik’s leg.

For their daughter’s doljabi, they prepared the same things that they had prepared for Kim Woochul and Kim Woosung before: gavel, stethoscope, fountain pen, soccer ball, microphone, and a golden piggy bank.

But Kim Woohee ignored all the toys in front of her and crawled fast until she reached her great grandfather who was sitting on the chair in the front row.

Now their daughter was clinging to the former chairman, who looked flustered.

The former Chairman Kim Hyungsik had already retired after Kim Dohan— Kim Heedo’s father— finally succeeded him as the new chairman of the Ilsung Group.

But, of course, Grandpa Kim still holds a lot of power and influence in the company.

I let Grandpa Kim visit the kids from time to time, but I guess he still feels awkward because our Woohee is clingy compared to Woochul and Woosung.

However, Sohee could tell that the former Chairman Kim Hyungsik was fond of his kids.

And I’m relieved by that— so long as he stays in the lane and doesn’t dictate what my children have to do in their lives.

Sohee chuckled when he heard what the former Chairman Kim Hyungsik said to Kim Woohee before carrying the child in his arms carefully.

Yep— our Woohee’s future is now secured after gaining the former chairman’s favor.

Sohee couldn’t help but laugh when he saw Kim Heedo’s ’state’ in the living room.

He woke up late because he stayed up all night working on his new coloring picture book.

So, naturally, Kim Heedo took care of their kids since it was his day off.

Kim Woochul and Kim Woosung had already started kindergarten. Since the twins were no longer at the house, then it must mean Kim Heedo had already sent them to school.

And, now, his husband was taking care of their baby girl.

"Does Dada look pretty?"

Sohee smiled widely while watching Kim Heedo lay on the floor while Kim Woohee was putting ’make-up’ on his face.

The ’make-up’ in question was actually coloring pens.

Plus, it looked like Kim Woohee was already done playing stylist because Kim Heedo’s usually neat hair had been tied into several sections by colorful hair elastics. Cute hairpins, too.

"Dada pretty!"

Kim Heedo, who had his eyes closed, smiled. "Thank you, Woohee-ya."

"Dada, wear this!"

Kim Heedo opened his eyes to see Kim Woohee holding a pink tutu.

His husband chuckled while nodding.

"Alright, my little princess. Dada will wear it."

Aww.

Sohee’s heart melted while watching Kim Heedo and Kim Woohee’s interaction.

Sohee smiled when Kim Woohee spotted him, and then he squatted down when his daughter ran to him. "Careful, princess."

Yes, Kim Woohee was only a little over a year old.

However, their daughter could already speak well, walk properly, and even run without tripping.

Our daughter is a genius.

"Heave-ho," Sohee said when he lifted Kim Woohee. Their daughter was bigger than her peers, and was a little heavy. But it wasn’t a problem for him since he had been working out diligently. "Is our princess having fun with her dada?"

"Dada plays well with Woohee," Kim Woohee said, speaking cutely in third person like most children her age did. "Wohee wants to play with Mama, too!"

Sohee smiled and nodded. "Sure. What does our Woohee want to play with Mama?"

"Snacks!" Kim Wohee said cheerfully while raising her hands. "Wohee wants to eat cakes with Mama!"

Pfft.

Woohee-ya, that’s called snacking and not playing.

Of course, Sohee didn’t say that out loud since he didn’t want to break her daughter’s spirit.

It’s cute anyway.

"Should we go out then?" Kim Heedo asked, standing behind Sohee and wrapping his arms around his waist. "Then let’s pick up the twins at school."

Sohee nodded in agreement. "That sounds like a good idea—"

"No! Woohee doesn’t want to see Oppas!" Kim Woohee yelled, suddenly throwing a tantrum when she was just in a good mood a moment ago. "Woochul Oppa and Woosung Oppa hate Woohee!"

Aigoo.

Sohee and Kim Heedo were concerned, of course.

Did Woohee and the twins fight without us knowing?
