Chapter 484: Chapter 484 Yangyang Cried All Night_1

Ji Yunhuan carried Yangyang back into the room. Because he had just fallen, his palm was grazed, and his knee was also hurt. Ji Yunhuan looked at him; since coming back, he had been crying nonstop. Now he was exhausted.

He sat there, just sobbing continuously. This was probably the first time his second sister-in-law had been so heartless to him. She clearly saw him but ignored him, leaving him alone.

Ji Yunhuan gently squatted by the bed, applying medicine to him. She looked at Yangyang and said, "From now on, Mommy will always be by your side. Be good, okay?"

She only had this much patience with her own son.

Yangyang sobbed, and it was unclear if he heard what Ji Yunhuan said. Because he was overly sad, he didn’t stop Ji Yunhuan from applying the medicine.

Leilei saw that Ji Yunhuan had not come to find her, so she walked over from the next room. "Auntie."

Seeing her, Ji Yunhuan said, "Leilei, why did you come over?"

"I couldn’t sleep alone." Leilei walked over and glanced at Yangyang. "How did he get hurt?"

Ji Yunhuan was helping Yangyang apply medicine to the wound on his palm. His small, tender hand was grazed lightly, looking particularly pitiful.

Leilei felt a bit distressed and asked worriedly, "How did he get hurt?"

"It’s nothing." Ji Yunhuan glanced at Leilei and said, "You should sleep. It’s very late."

"I’ll wait for you." Leilei envied all the attention Ji Yunhuan gave Yangyang and wanted her to sleep with her.

Ji Yunhuan had no choice. After bathing Yangyang, changing him into pajamas, she carried him to the big bed. Not wanting to go to the next room, she let Leilei sleep on the big bed as well. The bed was big enough for her and the two children.

Qi Cheng came back late from a social engagement, having had some drinks. The light was on in the room. When he entered, he saw Ji Yunhuan leaning on the pillow. She had just managed to coax Yangyang to sleep, so she had just fallen asleep herself.

He walked over, sat on the edge of the bed, and carefully tried not to wake her. Looking at her peaceful sleeping face, he felt a surge of tenderness. He thought how hard it must have been for her when he wasn’t around. He lowered his head, wanting to kiss her. But before he could, Leilei woke up from the noise and looked at him with wide eyes. "Uncle, you’re back."

"..." Qi Cheng looked down and saw that not only Leilei but also Yangyang was sleeping there. To avoid touching his injured hand, Yangyang kept it stretched out. With his rosy face and red eyes, it was evident he had been crying.

It was clear that this little one had given Ji Yunhuan a hard time. Qi Cheng sighed helplessly and whispered to Leilei, "You sleep. I’m going to take a shower."

He reached out to tuck Ji Yunhuan in before he went into the bathroom.

In the morning, Ji Yunhuan heard Ruirui’s cries. She tried to get up but realized she was in a warm embrace. Without knowing when it happened, Qi Cheng had come back and was lying beside her, holding her in his arms. She was leaning against his chest.

Looking at the still-sleeping Leilei and Yangyang, she wanted to get up quickly to hold Ruirui. But as soon as she moved, Qi Cheng woke up.

His gaze was filled with affection. "Awake?"

"Did I wake you?" She didn’t want to disturb him, but being in his arms with his tight embrace had woken him.

Qi Cheng pulled her closer. Ji Yunhuan looked at him with some annoyance. "Let me go. Leilei and Yangyang are here! And Ruirui is crying."

This guy never missed an opportunity to flirt.

Qi Cheng looked tenderly at Ji Yunhuan in his arms. "I wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t hold you."

"You really have a problem," Ji Yunhuan said with an exasperated smile.

He stared at her. "What problem do you think I have?"

"Who knows? Now, let me go." Ji Yunhuan struggled. "Ruirui is crying."

"He likes to cry. Let him cry a bit more."

"..." Ji Yunhuan rolled her eyes at Qi Cheng. "You heartless father."

"All my love is for you. There’s no time left for our son." He selfishly said.

Ji Yunhuan couldn’t help but pinch him. It hurt enough for him to finally let her go. She wriggled out of his arms.

Qi Cheng watched her quickly get out of bed and pick Ruirui up from the crib and bring him to the bed.

Qi Cheng took Ruirui from her and looked at his delicate little son. He said, "This kid really has good fortune."

"What good fortune?" Ji Yunhuan rolled her eyes at Qi Cheng again.

"He has a mother like you who devotes all her energy to him. How can he not have good fortune?"

Ji Yunhuan couldn’t help but laugh. "Which mother isn’t like this? Didn’t your mom treat you this well?"

Sitting on the bed, Ji Yunhuan just casually chatted with Qi Cheng when Yangyang woke up.

"Yangyang’s awake." Her attention immediately shifted to Yangyang.

The little one had cried all night last night.

Yangyang rubbed his eyes and got up. "Potty."

Ji Yunhuan reached out her hand to him. "Come here, I’ll carry you."

He opened his eyes and, seeing it was not his familiar second sister-in-law but Ji Yunhuan, there was a look of disdain.

"Be good, let me carry you," Ji Yunhuan coaxed him.

Yangyang hesitated for a moment, probably knowing he couldn’t rely on his second sister-in-law. He stretched his hands out to Ji Yunhuan, who carried him to the bathroom. After he finished, she placed him on a chair and helped him wash his hands.

The scratches from last night had scabbed over, but it still hurt to touch. Ji Yunhuan was very careful not to touch his wounds. While washing his hands, she looked at her precious son and asked, "Did you sleep well?"

He pouted, clearly not fully awake yet.

Ji Yunhuan knew his habits and understood that he was usually silent when he first got up. Given what happened last night, he must be in a bad mood now.

She didn’t force him to talk, and after washing his hands, she led Yangyang out. Leilei was already up and was looking at little Ruirui beside Qi Cheng. Early in the morning, Ruirui was in a good mood, smiling foolishly.

Ji Yunhuan placed Yangyang on the bed and reminded him, "Go to your dad; don’t touch your injured hand."

After saying that, she went to find clothes, changed herself first, and then asked the servant to bring in clothes for Yangyang and Leilei. When she came into the bedroom, she found that both Leilei and Qi Cheng were focused on Ruirui, while Yangyang stood quietly to the side in a daze.

His face was full of sadness, as if he was experiencing the world’s saddest thing.

Ji Yunhuan looked at him and sighed helplessly. It seemed that now even Ruirui couldn’t attract Yangyang’s attention.
