Fi got to his car, then he quickly entered and sped after the van but the van was no longer in sight.

There was a point in the road which was a junction or meeting point between or to several other lanes and that was where the van must have disappeared as Fi didn’t follow them on time for him to know which lane they had took.

Frustrated, Fi parked his car and got out. He kicked on the tyres angrily as he yelled, his hands squeezed on his neat and long blonde hair.

He got into his car again and drove off to his house. When he got there, he parked his car and stormed in. Caleb followed him, seeing how pissed off he was.

"What is the matter, Fi?" he asked.

"They took Cia," Fi started.

"They? Who?" Caleb asked further.

"Some a**holes in a big white van and I couldn’t save her. I don’t have any possible idea where they took her or who those guys are," Fi replied.

"I’m so confused right now, Caleb. I don’t know what to do next, how to find her. I have to find her and I will kill every single person who is involved in this," Fi declared.

"Have you told anyone else? Have you informed her friend?" Caleb questioned.

"No, I haven’t. I’m too... afraid that, this will just prove their point that Cia wouldn’t be safe with me. I mean, it wasn’t completely false, just look at what happened," Fi answered, with a pained and guilty expression.

"What if Cia eventually thinks the same once we finally rescue her?" that was what Fi feared the most- Losing her.

"We don’t have to tell anyone. We will find her!" Fi added, determined.

"But she is a doctor, we can pass through the weekend as today is already Friday but what about when Monday comes? People will definitely start becoming suspicious especially if she doesn’t answer any calls or texts," Caleb pointed out.

"Then we will just have to do everything it takes, everything in our power, just to find her. We will find her before the weekend ends, we have to!" Fi said the last part more to himself.

"I just hope she will be fine, that those men or whoever is involved, doesn’t hurt her. Cia is a simple woman, if she has been kidnapped, it must be one of our enemies’ doing," Caleb told.

"I don’t know who did this but I will make sure they don’t get out of this alive," Fi announced.

Few hours later, Logan showed up at Fi’s house.

"How did you know I live here?" Fi asked.

"That’s not important!" Logan responded curtly.

"Where is Sentencia? Have you seen her today?" Logan continued.

"Why are you asking me such questions?" Fi replied.

"Just answer the damn question, Fi. I just want to confirm...if this woman in this video..." Logan trailed off as he showed Fi a video on his phone.

"...is truly Sentencia," he added.

Fi watched the video. Cia was tied to a chair in a room with a dim light. Her eyes were blindfolded and her mouth was covered, tied, but he could clear hear her muffled sobbings in the video.

Then a man finally came and stood close to her and he said; "Hey Logan, feel free to come at us with your men, haha. But if you know you want to see her again... bring your family’s seal..."

It was already known that other syndicate groups or mafia families could overthrow another syndicate group or mafia family. As long as they can obtain the seal, they can take over that mafia group as the new leaders.

But it wasn’t very common or happen often as there were mafia laws guiding these, to avoid often overthrowing of a fellow group or family unless necessary.

Why did this have to happen now? It looked too much of an inside job, to Logan.

"That’s Cia," Fi affirmed, then he grabbed Logan by the collar all of a sudden.

"If this was sent to you and not me, that means ’your’ enemies are responsible for this," Fi stated.

"Possibly. Let go of me, this is not the time to do this. I haven’t told anyone else, I have her location, I will bring my seal along. But please...come along, help me save her," Logan responded.

"You don’t have to ask. Let’s go get her!"

They got to the location at the said time, but only Logan walked into the building. It was an old safe house.

He saw some men who immediately took him to where the exchange would be made. When they got there, Logan finally saw Cia who was no longer blindfolded like in the video but her mouth was still covered and only her hands were tied.

She was standing and was be held at gunpoint by...one of his uncles- Uncle Salvador. Roberte Preston was also there.

Logan scoffed.

"Why am I not surprised?" Logan started.

"Hmmf... you are a smart kid. But the seal was never yours. You just had to fall in love with this pretty doll here, it was the perfect opportunity to finally come at you," Salvador replied.

"Where is the seal?" Roberte asked and Logan showed it to them.

"Very good. Give it to him," Roberte told, referring to one of his many men in the room.

"(Scoff) You think I’m stupid, give her to me first. Or better still, let’s do the exchange at the same time," Logan responded.

His uncles burst into laughter.

"We know you aren’t stupid but you are currently outnumbered. I can also just kill her then you, and still obtain the seal after all. Do you want that instead?" Salvador smirked knowing he has gotten Logan right where he wanted him.

"So better toss the seal right over, if you don’t prefer the latter plan," Roberte joined in.

There was a moment of silence.

"Fine. But let go of her and let her walk halfway towards me before I toss the seal to you," Logan requested.

"I don’t trust you, you cunning brat. I will hand her over to you myself while you hand me the seal," Salvador replied.

"Walk!" he said to Cia and they started walking towards Logan.

"Wait," Logan uttered when they were halfway towards him.

"I just need you to answer one question before the exchange," he continued.

"Which is?" Salvador asked.

"Were you responsible for the assassination of my parents and siblings?" Logan questioned.

"Yes." Salvador answered.

Logan couldn’t believe his ears, of course he had already started to have speculations on the fact but...

"How could you do that? How could you all do that? They were also your family! Who else is involved?" Logan asked.

"Just your sweet uncles," Salvador replied.

"(Scoff) All because of a stupid seal," Logan responded.

"Yes...buhhh your father was a little bit of an a**hole like yourself," Salvador continued.

"C’mon kid, you haven’t gotten over that. They aren’t even your real family," Roberte butted in.

"That’s right, I was never family to you trio and that’s why you wanted to kill me as well," Logan replied.

"Yes. You really don’t know how humiliating and annoying it is for a bastard to be the possessor of the seal," Salvador responded.

"Now hand it over," he added and continued walking over to him with Cia.

When he got to where he was, Logan handed the seal to him. But as Salvador was about to hand Cia over to him, Salvador kicked Logan in the stomach, which made Logan to land on the ground.

Salvador continued to hold Cia who mumbled and sobbed in closed mouth, creating a muffling sound.

Salvador laughed at Logan with a sinister look, the seal of authority now in his hands.

"You fool! You really think you can double cross me? You actually thought we would believe you had come alone? Your men are currently cleaning out all of ours at the moment.

"I will make you regret ever thinking of double crossing us. Though...I was still going to double cross your anyway, haha," Salvador laughed.

BANG!

A gun shot was heard across the room as Salvador was about to pull the trigger of the gun in his hand, which he had pointed to Cia’s head.

The gunshot was aimed at Salvador’s hand which held the gun. Salvador screamed as his hand bled, he had long let go of the gun but he still clasp onto the seal which was in his other hand.

Then Fi, Caleb and their men they had brought along with them, walked into the exchange room, which was relatively large. It was Fi who had shot the gun out of his hand.

"Nice shot," Logan praised.

"I have never missed a target. Initially, I was aiming for his head. I just had second thoughts as the fool was rambling on, about killing his own blood. I decided...that you should kill him yourself Logan," Fi replied.

Finland Lee?- His uncles were surprised to see him.

"Apparently, you touched the wrong woman. She is Finland Lee’s sweetheart, now...are you ready to go up against the leaders of the syndicate nationwide?" Logan asked, with a daunting smile.

Salvador clenched his teeth, he never expected this. He didn’t know about this, all he knew was that Logan was close to this woman, but Finland Lee?!

He doesn’t want to go against the Lees, but...

"KILL THEM ALL!" he declared to his men.

"GET DOWN CIA!" Fi said to Cia who had been freed from Salvador’s grasp when his hand got shot.

Cia did so, as a terrifying shootout began.

One of Logan’s uncles even got caught up in the cross fire.

Roberte Preston.

And he died on the spot. As Salvador saw that they were no match for the opponent, he began to run away with the seal.

Logan saw this immediately and ran after him, while Fi went to Cia and he embraced her immediately.

He untied her hands and also her mouth, then she hugged him back.

"Fi..." she cried.

"You are safe now, Cia. You are safe," Fi assured. He let her go and made her face him as they held each other’s gaze.

"I’m so sorry Cia. I’m sorry," he apologized.

"It’s okay," she replied and they started to hug again.

Meanwhile, Logan had just caught up with his runaway uncle, but he was still currently chasing after him and Salvador wasn’t ready to stop running anytime soon.

Logan has to do something to stop him.
