Martial Era: Starting With The Strongest Talent-Chapter 127: Recovery Spar
Adam’s routine became simple, efficient and controlled.
For the remaining five days until he fully healed, every morning began the same.
He would wake up.
Remedy would immediately examine him, checking his pulse, essence flow, bone alignment and cellular regeneration. She was thorough. If anything even slightly delayed his healing, she corrected it on the spot.
After that...
He ate.
High-nutrient meals packed with dense monster essence. Everything she prepared had purpose, protein for muscle reconstruction, essence-rich marrow broth for internal stabilization, special herbs to accelerate cellular activity.
Then came reconditioning.
Slow stretches.
Balance drills.
Controlled steps without wall support.
Gradually increasing intensity.
He pushed, but never past the threshold that would damage healing tissue.
After that....
He cultivated immediately.
He would sit down and begin absorbing essence, refining his control and, more importantly, analyzing how to create his own unique absorption technique.
Luckily unlike before, the random blackouts had stopped and he now had full control over his consciousness. When he slept, it was intentional.
That alone was progress.
As for Remedy
She left occasionally.
Never for long.
And from observing her and the type of ingredients she brought back, Adam had already realized that this wasn’t a hotel.
He continued absorbing essence.
I wonder where we really are.
Still...
He didn’t ask.
Not yet.
During cultivation breaks, his mind shifted to something else.
Fuse.
The notification had been clear:
Anything within his equip slot, if compatible, could fuse.
He leaned back slightly, thinking.
What effect would fusion have on conduits?
If he fused matching conduits and their grade increased...
He wouldn’t be able to use them.
Conduits had core compatibility restrictions. A martial artist’s rank limited what conduit tier they could safely channel.
If he created something too high-grade,
It would be useless to him for now.
He also considered armaments.
What happens if I fuse two armaments? Or two attack-type conduits?
Would grade increase?
Would effects merge?
Would it create something entirely new?
Too many unknown variables.
He shelved the idea.
For now.
Essence continued flowing into him in steady rhythm. Reconditioning improved daily. His body stabilized. And before he knew it...
The full week had passed.
****
Adam stood in the middle of the room, clenching his fists over and over.
Essence flowed cleanly through his arms. There were no longer any fractures or lingering strain and his muscles responded instantly to command, fully synchronized.
Remedy leaned against the wall.
"How do you feel?"
Adam stepped forward and entered a stance. His hips rotated, shoulders aligned, then he delivered a rapid punch.
CRACK!
The air split from the force alone.
"I feel good."
Remedy nodded, as she walked towards the exit.
"Good. Let’s test your recovered body."
Adam raised a brow but followed.
The illusionary wall shimmered as they stepped through into a cave.
Adam stopped.
"Where are we by the way?."
Remedy didn’t slow.
"We’re in the natural wild zone. Tamara Jungle."
Adam’s eyes sharpened.
Wild zone...
That explained the dense ambient essence although he still found it strange how comfortable she made living in a cave be.
His attention soon shifted, to a large monster sleeping inside the cave.
Old instinct flared as he almost activated Connect, but he stopped himself, remembering he had Analyze now and triggered it.
It was the Elite Normal Level 4 monster; Foul Dog. But despite that fact Adam walked towards it casually, with his hands in his pockets.
Remedy’s voice followed him.
"It was displaced from its territory. That makes it extremely aggressive."
Adam didn’t turn.
"Don’t worry, I’ve got this."
He stopped behind the sleeping creature, and it seemed to sense Adam as it trembled. But then it suddenly vanished and reappeared behind Adam.
Revealing a massive hound with six legs and a skull for a head as its right front paw slammed down at a speed too fast for an ordinary Profound Apprentice.
BOOM!
A shockwave tore through the cave as dust exploded outward but when the dust cleared...
Adam’s right hand was seen gripping the descending paw, with no strain or tremor.
The Foul dog froze.
Its bestial mind could sense Adam was of a far lower rank than itself and yet that same instinct screamed something was wrong.
The monster immediately tried to activate its special talent but Adam beat the beast to it and activated Mind Control E.
The monster’s skull-face instantly went still, while Adam’s calm eyes regarded the monster as he gave a simple instruction.
"Kill yourself."
CRACK!
The Foul Hound’s neck twisted violently and Its spine snapped under its own strength before its massive body collapsed and a notification flashed.
[+4 Existence]
Adam released the corpse and rolled his shoulder once. Behind him, Remedy watched silently.
****
Remedy looked at the corpse and sighed.
"What’s the point of leaving a monster alive just to make it kill itself?"
Adam shrugged.
"It’s not my fault it’s weak."
He wasn’t exaggerating. His Star Power sat at 28 and the Foul Dog barely reached 20. If he had held back, he would learn nothing and he needed resistance, real resistance to gauge how good his recovery was.
And the only person here capable of that stood a few feet away.
His gaze locked onto Remedy and she noticed. Then understanding flashed in her eyes.
"You want to spar?"
Adam nodded once.
Remedy was silent for a moment, measuring him, then she gave a short nod.
"Alright."
Adam didn’t hesitate.
Equip activated and the Foul hounds talent was equipped.
[Bone Generation D — Equipped]
Essence shifted inside him, his structure reinforced and his Star Power rose to 30+
He stepped back, positioning himself a few feet from Remedy, as his eyes flicked to her panel.

[Martial Spirit: Supreme — 3 Star]
Remedy wasn’t idle this few weeks, her Star Power increasing to 31 was a clear sign of that.
Her Supreme Spirit had advanced from two to three stars and that alone explained the jump.
SSS talent... Divine bloodline... Supreme spirit...
The gap wasn’t wide, but her foundation was monstrous.
Adam’s desire sharpened.
I need that level of base.
Remedy drew her rapier in one smooth motion.
The blade hummed faintly.
"Are you ready?"
Bone surged from Adam’s forearm, spiraling outward.
A curved bone scythe formed in his hand.
"I am," he said calmly. "Go all out."
Remedy nodded.
They lowered into stance.
Essence flared.
And in the next instant...
They vanished from their positions.
