Chapter 61 - 61 : Wanda : Is it Okay to use my mouth

"Finn, haven't you finished yet?"

Wanda grasped the bathroom door handle and called out carefully into the quiet space. But there was still no response.

"Finn, I'm coming in..."

The water in her clear eyes shifted, as if she were on the verge of tears.

She took a deep breath, as if making a difficult decision.

Then, she threw open the bathroom door with determination.

Whoosh!

In the next moment, a thick mist greeted her, the hot vapor hitting her face.

It made her, just back from the cold outside, feel indescribably warm and comfortable.

"Finn, where have you been?"

Wanda was no longer concerned with the comfort of the mist; she had entered to find the bathtub empty.

There was no one in the bathroom at all.

Her heart sank. "How can there be no one...?"

But at that moment, a damp figure suddenly enveloped her from behind, lifting her effortlessly into his arms.

"Witch, how did you get in?" His voice was rich and deep.

"Finn?!"

Wanda's heart pounded. She turned her head, her eyes meeting his burning gaze. He swallowed hard, his voice hoarse. "If you tell me you're hungry, it would be rude to barge in like this..."

"Huh... hungry... don't talk nonsense..."

Seeing the real Finn, Wanda instinctively reached out to touch him. He was real, alive, and not gone...

Her heart finally settled.

But when she remembered how she had barged in unannounced, her cheeks turned bright red, a flush creeping across her face.

"Real?"

"Then who just opened the door and walked in?"

Finn breathed in the faint fragrance of her neck, his eyes growing even hotter.

His body stirred with desire.

The witch in the bathroom was far too tempting now.

Surrounded by the mist, her sweet, flushed cheeks were captivating—shy, pink, and undeniably alluring.

Her eyes, still wet, sparkled as though she had just cried, radiating warmth and innocence, like a tranquil lake reflecting the light.

She was delicate and enchanting...

Her eyes were slightly red, and as she grew nervous, her lips trembled... Wanda had no idea how many people could be driven to madness by her appearance.

"Finn, can you let me go for a moment...?"

Wanda noticed the darkening intensity in his eyes and quickly realized that something wasn't right.

The strange atmosphere was back.

"No, you've already come in. Are you sure you don't want to stay a bit longer?" Finn whispered, pulling her even closer.

The dampness from his body, still not fully dried, soaked through her thin clothes. She had removed her coat earlier, leaving her clothes even more revealing, accentuating her curves.

"No, let me go first..." she protested, panic rising in her chest. She could feel the heat radiating from his body, the distance between them too close for comfort.

Even as she tried to push him away, her strength faltered, making her feel weak, like a child trying to break free but failing miserably.

"Did you forget that you haven't rewarded me yet?" Finn's voice grew even deeper, his heart racing with desire.

"You really overestimated your strength!" he thought to himself.

When he returned home, he had planned to wait in the living room. But Wanda had come in at the same time, and he couldn't resist teasing her—now, however, it was clear things were escalating.

"Don't be like this. We agreed before..." Wanda's voice wavered, and the intensity of the moment left her unable to keep her composure. The air between them was thick with tension, her voice trembling uncontrollably.

"Then don't move around..." Finn said, his body tensing. If either of them moved now, things would spiral out of control.

He took a deep breath, his voice slow but deliberate. "Witch, remember what I said before... there are many places that could be explored..."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Wanda was confused, her mind racing as she failed to understand the words at first.

Before she could react, Finn's large hand brushed the corner of her lips.

The next moment...

"Woo... woo..." Wanda gasped, overwhelmed.

She understood now.

---

After a long moment, the bathroom door swung open.

"Cough, cough..." Wanda walked out, her lips still flushed, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. Her pink and rosy cheeks made her look irresistible.

She quickly grabbed a bottle of mouthwash and rinsed her mouth, trying to clear her head.

She hurried to the kitchen, rinsing her mouth vigorously as memories of what had just happened flooded her mind.

"What a shame..." she muttered under her breath, her hand lingering on the red corner of her mouth. The embarrassment was almost too much to bear.

Thinking it over, she took another big sip of water, her cheeks puffing out.

She forcefully spit it out, still feeling unsettled.

"How could I let this happen..."

She splashed cold water on her face, droplets of water clinging to her flushed skin, her appearance becoming even more alluring, despite her attempts to shake off the memories.

"Witch, where are you?" Finn's voice echoed from the living room.

Having already showered and changed into his black nightgown, Finn glanced around the room, but Wanda was nowhere to be seen. He sighed, lying back on the sofa. "Guess I can't hide here."

"Who said I was hiding?" Wanda snapped, her face flushed with frustration. "It was too disgusting earlier. I just needed to wash my mouth!"

With that, she turned and stormed back to the bathroom.

Bang!

The bathroom door slammed shut with a force that caused the house to shake slightly.

"It seems she's really angry..." Finn mused, a grin tugging at his lips. He looked toward the threshold of the bathroom. Could it be that Wanda had used the Scarlet Witch's magic to escape earlier?

It looked like he would need to find a way to make things right.

With that thought, he turned on the TV to watch a reality show he used to follow. The show had invited certain individuals from abroad in the past, though since the end of the Avengers' time together, it had become less frequent.

Now, the show featured the search for a new Captain America—a reality talent competition to find the next hero to represent justice. Most of the contestants were seasoned soldiers who had been involved in modern warfare for nearly a decade.

Click!

A moment later, the bathroom door opened again.

Wanda, wrapped in white mist, emerged, now dressed in her crimson pajamas. She glanced at Finn, who was lying on the couch watching TV, and the anger in her rose again.

Suddenly, she remembered something she had forgotten earlier.

"Shadow!"

She suspected that Finn had transformed, or perhaps... was hiding something.

Though now confirmed that he was indeed in the bathroom, she couldn't help but stick out her tongue and lick the corner of her lips.

---

"Bah, what am I thinking!"

She shook her head vigorously, trying to shake off those impure thoughts, and focused again on the matter concerning Shadow.

"Witch, what are you doing standing at the bathroom door?"

Finn felt a fiery gaze staring at him. He turned his head to look at Wanda, the corner of his mouth curling slightly. "Are you reminiscing?"

"Go to hell, who would recall that kind of thing?"

Wanda rolled her eyes at the words of this rogue. That kind of... no, no one else should ever taste it again.

No, what am I thinking...

"It's over."

The witch sat down on the soft sofa in distress and shook her head, wishing she could shake all the nonsense from her mind.

"What happened again?"

Seeing the witch's cute behavior, Finn instinctively hugged her, burying his head in her shoulder and inhaling her seductive scent.

"It's all your fault, I'm completely unclean! Dirty!"

Wanda frowned and turned her head away, refusing to look at him.

"Hmm, it's all my fault."

Finn nodded vigorously, admitting that he was a bit responsible. "I bought some snacks earlier. How about we watch a movie together?"

"Um."

Wanda looked away, clearly unwilling to engage with him, still refusing to look at him.

Finn felt a little helpless. He made mistakes and hurt others, so he couldn't just ignore them.

For him, women aren't tools.

They are equals. If it's only about using them as tools for pleasure, then why even bother with a relationship? It would be better to pay someone on the street.

With this in mind, he reached out and gently touched Wanda's head before standing up and heading to the kitchen.

"It really seems..."

As Finn turned his back, Wanda quickly glanced at him. Her expression shifted, now complicated.

She wasn't sure if it was just an illusion.

When she saw Finn wearing a black nightgown, she immediately thought of Shadow. Their backs were identical!

An impostor...?

"You're not angry anymore?"

A short while later, Finn returned from the kitchen, snacks in his arms. He noticed Wanda staring at him, her gaze intense.

Wanda quickly turned away, pretending to be annoyed, though her eyes were filled with confusion and doubt.

She wasn't sure if Finn was really Shadow.

After all, she had no proof, and when she entered Finn's mind during their earlier connection, she hadn't found any memories of learning magic.

If those memories were fabricated, what was Finn's purpose in approaching her? Was he hiding the truth because he cared for her?

Or was there another secret?

Thinking about this, Wanda felt tightness in her chest, an uncomfortable knot in her stomach.

She feared a terrible outcome.

Should she confront him directly or pretend nothing happened, allowing everything to go back to normal?

After all, if she confronted him and he wasn't Shadow, it would surely break his heart.

But what if he *was* Shadow...?

Wanda didn't dare to think further.

"Witch, what movie do you want to watch?"

Finn waved a hand in front of the dazed woman, sensing her emotional fluctuations at the same time.

Tonight, the witch seemed a bit off.

When had it started?

It seemed to have begun when she broke into the bathroom. At that moment, Wanda had seemed very flustered, nervous, even afraid of being wronged.

As if she'd been deceived.

"She must have discovered something..."

A thought crossed Finn's mind.

But if she really had figured it out, she would've exposed it already.

He quickly dismissed the thought.

"I want to watch *Titan Nick* again. I only saw half of it last time."

Wanda leaned over, seemingly wanting to put her thoughts aside.

Forget it, don't think about it.

If Finn is Shadow, then he must have evil intentions.

With Shadow's power, he would've already taken everything from her.

She temporarily pushed the troubling thoughts aside, breathing in the familiar scent of Finn, feeling an overwhelming sense of exhaustion.

"This time, I'll watch it with you seriously."

Finn also put those concerns away, no malice toward Wanda. He genuinely cared for her, his heart soft.

Completely different from Agatha.

When the time comes, he'd explain everything personally.

"Hmph, but I'm not letting you look at my feet again. Who told you to stare at them in that hotel?"

Wanda grabbed the remote control and moved the progress bar to the middle of the movie, her face flushing from the memory.

"Yeah, well, I'll enjoy your feet while we watch the movie," Finn smiled.

His eyes couldn't help but fall on her crystal-clear little feet, pink and smooth from the bath.

Unapologetically wandering.

This made Wanda shyly curl her toes, tugging the blanket over her body.

The movie started again, back at the opening credits. "Don't show off. Just watch the movie with me."

"Good."

Finn hugged Wanda sideways, settling onto the soft sofa as he dimmed the lights with the remote.

The two cuddled together, feeling each other's breath.

The TV displayed *Titan Nick*, a love story people yearn for.

But a good movie, like life, should be remembered.

And often, regret lingers the longest.

Just like the ending of *Titan Nick*.

It made Wanda in his arms cry, her nose twitching.

She finally fell asleep.

---

**The next morning.**

Sunlight poured into the room through the window. As usual, Finn got up early.

After a quick wash, he saw that the time was still early, and Wanda was curled up in bed, her young face untroubled by waking.

He slipped into his coat and went for a run.

Returning from the shower, he sat down just as the news started.

"According to government consultations, Americans will see the next Captain America candidate this week. Many are saying he'll make an excellent superhero..."

"Even after several months of recovery, people still can't accept their living conditions. The happiness index has plummeted."

"The main reason is the return of certain individuals. Many people must make new choices again."

"Certainly, the greatest happiness for us right now is that we've come back from the brink, rescued by Chaoying!"

"According to U.S. statistics, the crime rate is skyrocketing, as those bastards have returned, and some claim many now have superpowers, spawning more super criminals."

"I can't imagine if this is true—human genes evolving so rapidly?"

Finn slouched on the sofa, bored.

The TV, as usual, displayed the most mundane news.

The problem with most of it? It didn't affect him much. To him, only big events mattered. If they had no impact, they weren't worth his attention.

"I'll make breakfast first; the witch should wake up soon."

Finn stretched and got up, intending to turn off the TV.

But at that moment, a voice interrupted.

"An urgent message will be broadcast next!"

Finn froze and sat back down.

The screen switched, showing a white-haired man with a mean expression.

Finn recognized him immediately—Jonah Jameson, the boss of the Daily Bugle.

The moment Finn saw him, he froze, a sinking feeling in his chest.

Jameson said, his voice full of emotion: "Everyone, there's breaking news: Spider-Man is Peter Parker!"

"He killed Mysterio, the so-called great hero. This world should remember him— high schooler in pajama!"

The screen flashed with various clips. First, the self-report of the mysterious figure. Then, the moment when Peter Parker, Spider-Man, shot and killed Mysterio directly.

"Just as expected... the Three Spiderman in One Frame I'm excited for this," Finn thought.

He'd been prepared for this. There were no surprises.

In fact, he looked forward to seeing the infamous scene when the three of them would appear together.

After all, the plot from the original comics was so ridiculous. Marvel had made a fortune with it, securing the highest box office of the year.

But just as he leaned back on the couch, reading through...

A shocking fragment nearly sent him into a frenzy.

Jameson, furious, raged: "And the Scarlet Witch—Wanda Maximoff!"

"She was an accomplice to Spider-Man Peter Parker. Together, they conspired to murder this great hero!"
