Next to him, Duke nodded firmly, indicating they were not lying! Then, boastfully, he revealed the striped T-shirt beneath his earthy gray jacket!
The three bikini girls looked bewildered, glanced at each other, and finally, the leading girl, with an awkward smile, said, “Okay… thanks!”
“Bye!” The other two girls awkwardly waved their hands, their long, athletic legs striding, as their perked tan hips disappeared back into the bus; the two returned to the bus first.
“Bye-bye!” Seeing the three girls had returned to the bus, Tyrone and Duke happily waved goodbye.
Tyrone waved his arm vigorously, watching the bus tail pass by; it was truly a joy to help others. As Duke, beside him, was waving, his expression suddenly changed. He grabbed Tyrone by the collar and then vigorously shook Tyrone’s head.
Tyrone stared with a bewildered expression at Duke in front of him, completely not understanding what happened.
Duke held his head and shouted fiercely, “Do you really know what you’ve just done? Huh! Do you know!!” Then he turned his head to see the bus that already left, shouting loudly, “Hey, wait!!”
He sprinted wildly!
Seeing Duke rushing to chase, Tyrone also shouted, “Duke! Wait for me!! Don’t leave me behind!” The two tall, strong boys sprinted down the country dirt road one after the other.
Finally, after the bus traveled nearly a hundred meters, they heard the sound of knocking on the bus door and it slowly stopped by the roadside.
The bus door opened, and Duke, panting heavily, leaned against the inside of the door, his gaze meeting the surprised expressions of those inside. Without catching a full breath, he hurriedly explained, “Huff, huff… please forgive my friend.”
“He’s honestly a bit slow and dawdling!! Huff…” The curly hair behind him was blown apart as the panting Tyrone arrived, embarrassedly greeting as his name was mentioned.
After swallowing, Duke’s face flushed with excitement, then he pointed proudly behind the bus.
“The small town is in the opposite direction!!”
Then Duke, with a proud smile, stood with his hands on his hips, revealing his striped T-shirt!
Inside the bus, the bikini girls’ cheeks didn’t hesitate to twitch, and exchanging quick glances, they all looked at the two boys who smiled encouragingly. At that moment, the bus atmosphere was simply wonderful.
The bus door banged shut, and they watched the bus turn around and gradually disappear from sight. The somewhat dull-witted Tyrone continued waving his arm vigorously.
Duke, who had just pointed the way, looked enviously ahead, “Wow! Two lucky guys will be surrounding those beautiful girls for full two months!”
