MIGHT AS WELL BE OP-Chapter 1032: News
Aaaninja Chronisynth Eternos stared at the vanishing Aura Nova, then sighed softly, his gaze shifting toward Lucian, who stared at the pill in his hand with a broad, almost radiant smile, as though he had just won the greatest jackpot in existence. Although he was undeniably curious about what the pill was and what effects it might hold, he did not ask Lucian, nor did he attempt to spy on it through Time Manipulation, choosing instead to respect whatever secrecy Lucian intended to maintain.
"It seems our journey has come to an end this time, Lucian," he spoke, his calm and steady voice effortlessly bringing Lucian out of his wandering thoughts.
Lucian’s black eyes turned toward Aaaninja, the pill vanishing from his hand into his system space as though it had never existed in the first place. "Nah, we will meet again. We still need to fight those stupid birds called Angels and their idiot pig of a god," he stated with a wide grin, his tone carrying an unmistakable excitement, as though he was genuinely looking forward to such a confrontation.
Aaaninja stayed silent for a moment, contemplating those words, then nodded in agreement. After a brief stretch of silence, he spoke once more, "Our score is 1-1 at the moment. Do not, for even a moment, think I will let you get ahead," he added, a small yet confident smile breaking across his otherwise composed face.
"Right back at you," Lucian replied instantly with a smirk, his confidence same as ever as his competitive spirit ignited.
"Says the person who has not even ascended to the Apexus Mana Rank," Aaaninja retorted smoothly. However, before Lucian could even begin to formulate a response, Aaaninja had already moved. He reached out, taking hold of Altheria’s beautiful and delicate hands, and in the very next instant, he vanished from where he stood, leaving Lucian completely hanging without the chance to reply.
Lucian could only curse under his breath at Aaaninja’s abrupt departure, raising his hand and pointing a middle finger in a random direction, though it was quite obvious that the gesture was directed toward the already departing Aaaninja.
Aaaninja reappeared within the Celestial Solar System with Altheria’s hand still firmly held within his own. They had slipped through Time itself without the need to teleport or open any form of portal, a demonstration of his overwhelming mastery. Without missing a single beat or wasting even the slightest moment, they shot forward toward their own Celestial Planet, moving at incomprehensible speeds. Aaaninja’s Mana spread outward, covering and coating Altheria protectively, as she was not yet strong enough to withstand the crushing weight and terrifying force of the void within the Acarnis Galaxy.
As they entered their planet, their descent was smooth and controlled, floating gently down from the vast skies above. However, the very moment Aaaninja appeared within the planet’s atmosphere, he could hear his name being spoken across countless lips scattered throughout the world. With his absurdly heightened senses and his current Mana Rank, he could perceive everything happening within the planet without even making a conscious effort.
Now that his name echoed so prominently, he focused. His senses expanded further, stretching outward to encompass every single planet within the Celestial Solar System. And indeed, just as he suspected, everyone was speaking about him, Aaaninja Chronisynth Eternos.
Altheria noticed the subtle shift in his demeanor, the way his attention seemed momentarily distant, and she asked, "What is wrong? Did something happen?" Her voice carried a gentle concern, her eyes searching his face for answers.
"Nothing really, it just seems my parents have been busy," Aaaninja replied with a faint sigh, his tone calm yet laced with mild exasperation.
Altheria grew even more confused at his response. Lacking Aaaninja’s extraordinary senses, she remained completely oblivious to the scale of what was unfolding around them.
’Seriously, how fast are these two?’ Aaaninja thought to himself, a hint of disbelief surfacing within his otherwise composed mind.
Everyone within the Celestial Solar System practically already knew about his breakthrough to the Apexus Mana Rank. Zachary and Nyxss had barely departed a few minutes before him, yet somehow, the news had already spread across multiple planets with astonishing speed. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
They were proud parents, why would they ever choose to hide the achievements of their son? The idea that some powerful, envious figures might attempt to target him out of jealousy was almost laughable. They held no such concerns. Instead, they pitied anyone foolish enough to assume that Aaaninja was merely a newly advanced Apexus Mana Ranker who required time to stabilize and adjust.
Still, despite all prior expectations, the news left the entirety of the Celestials in awe and shock. Even though Aaaninja had always been recognized as a once-in-an-era genius, this level of progress was simply beyond outrageous.
Many could not help but wonder, were these Galactical meetings truly this... profitable?
Three years ago, Aaaninja had attended one such Galactical meeting and returned having achieved True Enlightenment, a state that no Celestial, whether recorded in ancient texts or modern archives, had ever reached.
Now, after attending yet another Galactical meeting, he had returned as an Apexus Mana Ranker.
Naturally, countless individuals immediately began planning to attend the next Galactical meeting, no matter the cost. To them, it seemed like an opportunity too great to ignore. However, what none of them understood, what none of them could possibly comprehend, was that none of them were Aaaninja Chronisynth Eternos.
Both in the past and in the present, only he, Aaaninja Chronisynth Eternos, had achieved such absurd gains and overwhelming profits from these so-called Galactical meetings.
For anyone else, such a gathering would not be an opportunity, but rather a guaranteed path to death. After all, these Galactical meetings always ended in death, one way or another, with survival being a rarity rather than an expectation.
Aaaninja made no attempt to explain any of this to Altheria. There was no need. The moment she stepped onto the planet, she would inevitably discover everything for herself. After all, as the closest and weakest individual close to Aaaninja, people would naturally approach her with questions, since approaching Zachary or Nyxss directly was simply out of the question.
Using Time Slip once more, Aaaninja and Altheria appeared within his grand mansion. However, before they could even take a minute to settle, Altheria made her intentions clear. She wished to leave immediately and test her talent, which had seemingly increased after consuming Broth-ben’s broth at the Ramen Singularity Timeline.
Aaaninja nodded with a gentle smile, genuinely pleased for her. If he were in her position, he too would be eager to explore and test his newfound improvements. Without hesitation, they parted ways. Altheria dashed toward the training chamber with excitement, while Aaaninja chose to walk aimlessly through the mansion.
Even as he moved through the halls, the maids and butlers could do nothing but stare at him, their gazes filled with admiration, awe, and undeniable infatuation. His very presence carried an overwhelming charm that captivated those around him. They were all aware of his recent breakthrough, and that advancement had only elevated his already striking appearance to an almost dangerous level. Simply looking at him for too long felt as though it could make one lose consciousness.
After wandering without purpose for some time, Aaaninja eventually stopped at a random balcony within the mansion. He took a seat and allowed his gaze to drift over the garden below, where vibrant flowers bloomed, birds fluttered gracefully, and butterflies danced through the air.
He was in no rush to enter seclusion. Having just emerged from intense battles and overwhelming experiences, he needed time, time to unwind, to breathe, and to simply observe the world in its natural state.
Yet, despite his efforts to relax, his thoughts inevitably returned to Anthony.
The power. The chasm. The gap. The void. The immeasurable and incomprehensible distance that separated them.
He remembered it all with perfect clarity. And more than anything else, he remembered how Anthony had referred to that overwhelming disparity as "just a bit."
’It seems I forgot to ask Lucian what he knows about Anthony,’ he suddenly realized, his brows knitting slightly before he exhaled and shook his head.
’Maybe next time,’ he concluded silently.
At this moment, he no longer harbored any immediate thoughts of training solely to challenge Anthony again. He had finally come to terms with the reality of the gap, the very same gap Lucian had always spoken about.
However, acceptance did not mean surrender. It did not mean complacency. It did not mean resignation.
Aaaninja Chronisynth Eternos would continue to train, to evolve, and to push himself beyond every conceivable limit. No matter the opponent, no matter the obstacle, no matter the distance that lay ahead, he would strive to become the very best.
