Anthony arrived at his own building with a smile on his face. After a change of clothes and a bath, he jumped onto his bed, his mind rolling around with thoughts of his date with Vega.

He cuddled his pillow as he kept rolling around on his bed like a love-struck fool. He wanted to shout at the top of his lungs that he finally had a girlfriend.

But he couldn’t. With a deep sigh, sleep claimed Anthony, and he drifted into the realm of dreams. However, this time, his dreams were completely flooded with her, Vega.

Their kiss, their marriage, their future babies, and even scenes of them wiping out demons together, side by side with their children. It was a dreamland built entirely out of love and fantasy.

A few hours passed by as the sun finally reached its peak in the sky, and midday arrived in a blur of golden light.

Anthony could be seen lying peacefully on his bed. Then, his eyes slowly fluttered open as he returned from his vivid dream filled with ’virtual reality Vega.’ A gentle smile curved across his face.

He was just about to jump down from his bed to text Vega, to know if she was awake, when he suddenly froze in shock.

His eyes widened, his focus instantly shifting to the system notification appearing right before him in the air.

Anthony had already designated a particular thought compartment in his mind to handle the daily sign in, since he couldn’t be bothered to wake up every morning just to manually sign in for rewards, especially when they were mostly useless things, like the toothbrush he had just received.

’It’s here,’ Anthony thought, a grin spreading across his face as he stared at the screen with glee. He had been begging ??? for a real reward ever since the Starborn Tournament, but he had received almost nothing.

Although, to be fair, he had gotten a girlfriend just a day before heading off to the military... but that was different.

Anthony stared speechless at the notification, his face slowly twisting in disbelief.

’Why is everyone pressuring me into having children? I’m still nineteen! Dad and Mom are over a thousand years old, and they didn’t even have me until nineteen years ago,’ Anthony thought to himself, already feeling like pulling out his hair in frustration.

’Well, whatever. Let’s just get to the reward already. That’s all that matters at the moment,’ he sighed mentally.

A genuine smile broke out across Anthony’s face. This, this was what he had been waiting for all along.

With that final message, ??? vanished, and the normal system interface returned before Anthony.

One of the very first beings created by ???, alongside the Divine Flames: Romulus. The Limit Breaker is the most egotistical being ever created by ???. It answers to no one. It listens to no one. It only responds to ??? due to the overwhelming difference in power, and it will not listen to the host.

The Limit Breaker refers to itself as: The Unbound. The Unchained. The Boundless. The Unfettered]

Anthony read the notification carefully, and the smile on his face turned into a wide grin.

Anthony’s mind whirled. His thoughts flashed back to when he first received the Divine Flames. He remembered the pain clearly, he had literally been burned alive by Romulus. He braced himself immediately, mentally preparing for the worst, his willpower steeled like iron.

Seconds passed.

Nothing happened.

Anthony raised an eyebrow in confusion.

’System, what happened? I thought this process would be painful,’ Anthony asked the OP system mentally.

But then, more seconds passed. No new rewards arrived. Anthony frowned, his anticipation slowly turning to irritation. He had expected something big, something massive, especially considering how ??? had been hyping it up. Was ??? scamming him again?

He couldn’t be sure. So he decided to ask.

’System, where is the reward?’ Anthony asked flatly.

"I know that already! But where are the benefits? Even Romulus came with rewards when he got here!" Anthony complained, growing more frustrated.

Although Romulus had not actively intervened or made many moves, his mere presence within Anthony’s soul had its own advantages.

For instance, Romulus prevented and countered any soul based attacks or manipulations, on any level. Not only that, but Romulus had also made him completely immune to all fire based attacks. Even if Anthony were thrown into the flames of hell itself, he wouldn’t feel a thing, not even heat.

Anthony stared at the message, dumbfounded.

’What’s the point of receiving the Limit Breaker if no one can actually control it? This is completely useless,’ he thought.

Just as he was about to step into his soul space to give the arrogant entity a piece of his mind, a new notification flashed before his eyes.
