MIGHT AS WELL BE OP-Chapter 987: Galactical Revisitation
Aaaninja’s voice tore through the Arcanis Galaxy;
Temporal Origin: Paradoxical Existence Of The Dead
The moment those words left his lips, the Galaxy exploded outward in an overwhelming torrent of cataclysmic impact and violent bursts; solar systems were erased from existence, planets were wiped out without even fragments remaining, the void collapsed upon itself in spiraling distortions, suns and stars were snuffed out and annihilated as though they had never burned.
The Arcanis Galaxy’s core shuddered in primordial fear, cracked under intolerable pressure, then shattered in a maddening implosion that tore through everything and nothing simultaneously, collapsing layers of reality in a way that defied conventional cosmological understanding.
The Arcanis Galaxy had been utterly destroyed, and with it, everything that had once existed within its immeasurable expanse. The Spirit King was not spared; ancient beings dwelling within hidden dimensions were erased before they could even blink or comprehend what was occurring. At this point, only six individuals remained from what once was the entirety of the Arcanis Galaxy.
Klaus and his wife, Amara, remained untouched, as the two of them were simply too powerful, capable of tanking an entire galactic explosion without sustaining even a single scratch. Vega, their daughter, was shielded and protected flawlessly by them. Then there was Anthony, who was simply an anomaly of an entirely different caliber and existence, operating on principles that transcended conventional scaling. And finally, Aaaninja and Lucian remained.
The six of them floated amidst what little remained of the once-glorious Arcanis Galaxy, as Aaaninja Chronisynth Eternos had destroyed it by reaching toward a power that did not even properly exist within this tier of the Universe.
But at this moment, Aaaninja Chronisynth Eternos was not the Aaaninja they all knew. At this moment, he floated as though he were the Sovereign Of Time itself, his presence eclipsing comprehension.
His lips parted once more, and his voice sounded, paradoxically echoing through the hollow void.
Authority Of Time: Galactical Revisitation
As those words left his lips, mana did not bend, nor did it respond, for Authority did not require mana. It did not rely upon energy. It simply was a level of power that neither mana nor any other source of energy dared to govern or influence. It existed purely upon understanding, comprehension, and dominion over principle. And who could possibly possess greater understanding of time than the River Of Time itself, which was feeding its infinite knowledge into Aaaninja in real time.
With that Authority invoked, the void blinked. Laws, Order, and Creation snapped back into place as though reality had merely been momentarily misplaced. The Arcanis Galaxy, which had been completely destroyed, was recreated, not gradually, not through formation, but by Aaaninja pulling a previous state of the Arcanis Galaxy from a fixed point in the past and imposing it upon the present. He did not rebuild it; he reinstated it.
He was simply that powerful at this singular moment.
Life flourished once more. Vitality flooded the Galaxy. Stars reignited, suns burned again, moons reformed, planets returned to their precise orbital alignments as though nothing had ever transpired. Everything that had died was restored by Aaaninja’s temporal dominion.
Aaaninja, Lucian, and the others reappeared seamlessly within the restored Galaxy. Those who had perished during the destruction remained entirely oblivious to the event, as their minds and senses had never registered the annihilation or its reversal; to them, no interruption in existence had ever occurred.
The River Of Time, which had manifested above as a colossal golden presence, dimmed immediately. The immense eye in the sky fragmented into Temporal Motes before dissolving completely, and the River Of Time withdrew from the Arcanis Galaxy, vanishing from visible existence.
The overwhelming power and incomprehensible knowledge that Aaaninja had wielded vanished just as abruptly as it had arrived. He returned to his original state, no longer sustained by primordial temporal authority. The next instant, he collapsed to his knees as exhaustion claimed him entirely.
His eyes shifted toward Lucian, and in the following moment, a faint smile graced his lips as he realized the backlash had been halted. Lucian had been saved. However, he remained a hollowed version of himself, his Mana Rank now permanently reduced to SSS+ Rank.
Even with this monumental accomplishment, Aaaninja’s heart tightened painfully. He had saved Lucian’s life, yet he had not restored him completely. The River Of Time had made it clear that it could not return Lucian to his original peak, as the backlash had consumed everything. This was not a simple matter of reversing time and restoring a previous state. A higher force had interfered, one that surpassed Temporal Authority.
To save Lucian Darkheart, Aaaninja had first destroyed the Arcanis Galaxy in which Lucian existed. With the destruction of the entire Galaxy, the backlash had assumed Lucian was dead and thus dissipated. Only then did Aaaninja restore the Galaxy from the past, thereby bypassing the lingering effects of the backlash through paradoxical manipulation.
Aaaninja was not particularly troubled by Lucian’s weakened physical state. They could restore his youthful appearance; numerous artifacts and treasures existed for such purposes, such as the Water Of Life or the Sap Of The World Tree.
Even now, Lucian lacked the strength to speak or thank Aaaninja, as he was simply that frail, yet he was aware of everything that had transpired. His senses remained sharp despite his weakened condition.
Before Aaaninja Chronisynth Eternos could speak or take any further action, a white blur manifested behind him. He did not need to turn to recognize who it was. The white hair and piercing blue eyes were unmistakable, along with a handsome face that none could replicate.
Null Anthony.
"Rest well, you have tried. I will take it from here, my friend," Anthony’s voice echoed softly within Aaaninja’s ears. A faint smile appeared on Aaaninja’s lips. Though he did not know what Anthony intended to do, he was certain that Anthony could accomplish something. With that reassurance, he fainted on the spot as overwhelming mental exhaustion rendered him unconscious, for he had just performed something utterly absurd on a cosmological scale.
Anthony’s All Seeing Eyes shifted toward Lucian Darkheart. He sighed and shook his head slightly. To Anthony, the solution was astonishingly simple.
His lips parted as he spoke;
Authority Of Severance
Reality and existence blurred into intricate threads within his perception, layers of causality and consequence unraveling before his vision. Anthony did not need to exert himself. He simply gazed at Lucian, his blue eyes locking onto the backlash thread that remained attached to Lucian’s being like a parasitic tether.
With nothing more than a thought, Anthony snapped the thread in half. It vanished instantly. The world returned to normal within his perception, its layered threads dissolving back into coherent structure.
In the next instant, Lucian felt a familiar and overwhelming sensation. His vitality surged violently through his body. His heartbeat intensified, echoing powerfully within his chest. His frail frame disappeared as his youthful form returned, his white hair reverting to black in real time.
Mana swirled around him in a vortex of escalating density as his Mana Rank rose, shattering limitation after limitation until it returned to its former peak. His skills reignited within his mind and soul as he reestablished his intricate connection to them. His system rebooted seamlessly, coming back online with flawless synchronization.
And with that, Lucian Darkheart’s eyes fluttered open. His black gaze fell upon Anthony and Aaaninja, who floated beside Anthony in unconscious stillness.
Lucian Darkheart had been saved, fully and completely, through the combined efforts of his only two friends, Aaaninja Chronisynth Eternos and Null Anthony.
