"Being too detached from the mundane world is not a good thing, Tilan."

"Do you know, if I have someone take you down right now, you might never leave the Floral Crown Star Domain for your entire life." Prin spoke with her eyes closed.

Hearing this, the girl in luxurious clothing across from her turned her head, looked at the songstress muttering with closed eyes, and shook her head slightly.

"You've had too much to drink."

"I haven't had too much to drink." She opened her eyes and sat up, her eyes blooming like red lotuses, staring directly at Tilan.

"You're always naively giving up power, easily letting go of things many people envy, isn't this a form of arrogance?" As she spoke, she stepped closer to the black-haired girl in luxurious clothes, grabbing the girl's wrist.

Tilan looked at the wrist grasping her sleeve and arm, feeling as though she was held by a scorching iron, with faint blue smoke rising from her cuff.

"I'm not arrogant; I just don't want to argue about these things with you." Tilan turned her head.

"Why not argue? Do you look down on me? Or do you think you always have enough leeway to patiently wait for that day to come, looking down from above?"

To this, Tilan, who had turned her head for a long time, turned back, looked at Prin whose eyes were lit with anger, and sighed slightly.

"Because once we argue, there would be no room for retreat or concession." The struggle between songstresses was actually brutal; perhaps the loser wouldn't die, but the beliefs they had gathered would be completely shattered. This kind of hurt could sometimes be more painful than losing one's life.

"Hah, if you don't try, how will you know?" Prin released her hand with a mocking smile.

"But it's too late now, the Federation no longer has space for you to stand, and I'm not the kind of songstress who would generously make room for others."

"Since you're willing to concede, willing to wait, then just keep watching, watching me live out this splendid life."

And with that, the two did not engage in further conversation, parting ways.

On the road leaving, Tilan walked down an empty corridor. In this sturdy fortress city, even the corridors seemed to be made of some ancient bronze, reflecting her face.

'It seems your goodwill is not understood by others, Tilan.' The girl on the bronze wall to the side conversed with her.

"I know." The girl nodded slightly.

"She is a very proud person. The way I directly conceded makes her win, as if depriving her of the achievement and thrill of victory through struggle."

"And as long as she hasn't directly defeated me, that bit of dissatisfaction in her heart is difficult to completely dissipate, so even if I concede, she won't be happy, she might even hate me."

"You're very knowledgeable, but why insist on doing this?" asked the twin in the bronze mirror.

"There aren't that many perfect solutions in this world. If I directly crushed her, she would regret not realizing her wish on that day."

"Rather than saying I let her, the reality is that over the centuries the Federation has accumulated much dissatisfaction and emotion, it indeed needs a release, and I'm not that type of wanton person."

"Since everyone needs it, and she's just suitable for it, let her do it then." Tilan replied quietly.

"But the way you've acted seems particularly arrogant, haha, no wonder you're my sister." The girl in the mirror blinked.

"Our fundamental temperaments are indeed quite similar, merely you were too timid and insecure in your youth to show it."

"I don't want to label this temperament as arrogance, as if everything must conform to mainstream, follow others' opinions, to be called modesty."

"I prefer to say it was a choice I made after thorough consideration, I didn't shy away from the consequences it brought, as for you, sister, your choices at that time couldn't be called thoroughly considered."

"No, no, no, I considered it thoroughly too, it's just your unexpected appearance that misled me; ultimately, it's because I didn't trust my sister, thinking she was really just a timid girl afraid of dealing with matters."

The two sisters often bickered in their soul consciousness, though they quarreled from time to time, their relationship indeed improved significantly compared to before, with many past barriers and estrangements slowly dissolving.

Leaving the Federation's council hall, Tilan arrived at the separate Golden Flame Grand Cathedral, the institution governing the songstresses.

Although she had publicly announced relinquishing her identity as a Federation Songstress, no priest actually barred her outside nor belittled this young girl.

"Lord Tilan, please come this way, the High Priest is waiting for you."

"Thank you." Tilan nodded.

Passing through the elegantly sanctified architectural complex of the Grand Cathedral, Tilan encountered many young priests; they were likely new members who arrived in the past decade, still full of youthful vigor. Upon seeing Tilan, these young priests were quite excited, in stark contrast to the calmness of the older priests beside them.

Entering the sanctuary hall adorned with white silk and gold threads, Tilan saw a particularly aged elder, his body slightly hunched, leaning on a golden tin staff, sitting in the central seat of the hall.

"High Priest Xion." After entering the hall, Tilan nodded and saluted.

"Come in." The priest gestured for the guards beside him to wait outside, leaving only the two of them in the hall.

"Haven't seen you in twenty years, Tilan." Looking at the girl in front of him whose appearance hadn't changed, the old man's voice held a trace of nostalgia.

"Yes." Tilan came before the elder, gently stroked his hand like a withered tree, then stood by his side.

"Do you remember fifty years ago that day, I was praying in the Sanctuary, and they informed me a young songstress had awakened in the Four-leaf Crystal Star Domain, so I hurriedly set off with people..." Xion reminisced about the past.

"You and Prin awakened two years apart, Yulanduoja may love play and laziness, but luckily she had you two proud juniors." He wittily remarked about 'Cui She' Yulanduoja.

"Twenty years ago, within the Sanctuary, we called you two the twin pillars of the Federation, two orbiting twin stars of the sun, perhaps there was competition but it would also bring tremendous vitality to the Federation." He slowly narrated.

"But then what happened..." he sighed.

"The issues regarding your identity and bloodline, the Sanctuary did not provide a strong guarantee and proof; this is our dereliction."

Tilan didn't take it seriously at this point, only curious: "Who on earth initiated such a rumor back then? Regarding my information, a lot of it was confidentially processed by the Court of Judgment, right?"

"I don't know about that either, for the Sanctuary is not a specialized intelligence agency, our range of activities is not broad."

"But I did investigate afterwards and found out that the source of the information wasn't because of a leak from the Court of Judgment, it came from other places that might be similar ancient organizations as us."

"Similarly ancient?" Tilan was slightly surprised.

"Yes, logically speaking, everything in the Sixth Era was arranged by Lady Isenisha, very little could exceed her planned scope."

"But there are always exceptions, which is the fifth epoch's newborn races' remnants, or their spiritual successors."

"Even if the Black Sun fell, quite a few people still follow them; even though the Federation popularized the evils and sins of the Black Sun, they still believe in that path, still serve the legacy left by the Black Sun." Saying so, the High Priest's cloudy eyes gazed into the distance, slowly stroking his beard.

"You should have heard about that special prophecy, right? Seen the doomsday prophecy sung by the Saintess who witnessed the 'Eternal Covenant of Lorania'."

"Many people don't know or believe in this, but some are devoutly convinced of the prophecy, believing it to be unstoppable destiny's mighty power, an expression of the Stellar Crown's will; fulfilling the prophecy equals realizing that Lady's will."

"That Lady left too many legends in the world, each of her aspects and identities have groups of believers, even conflicting with each other."

"Though not understanding why such a sorrowful prophecy was born, those born during the Dark Age believe if they follow the prophecy, that Lady will not abandon humanity, will respond to human prayers again, awakening from the Aijieka Sea."

To this, Tilan merely shook her head, viewing such thoughts as looking at not yet grown children.

"So, that group of people or organization spread rumors about my identity and bloodline, to suppress and guide the Southern Star Region's people to protest and betray?"

"Yes, because it fits what the prophecy described; the Dragon Vein System you've constructed fits precisely the ancient Eastern legend."

"The Azure Bird carries branches, landing to create a nation."

"You inherit the line of Qing Luan of the Five Phoenixes, and the Dragon Vein System can also create a new ecological and homeland environment for humanity; they believe you are that deep azure Seizing Bird in the prophecy."

"Now that I've already endorsed the occurrence of the prophecy, the next one will be?"

"The flame-feathered bird whose feathers are bright orange like fire, pierced by an arrow." The High Priest Xion announced with a heavy tone, slowly reciting the prophecy.
