MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith-Chapter 1368: Entering the Raid
"…Has everyone made their last preparations?"
Taking in a deep breath to compose himself, Valyr turned to look at the members that accompanied him with a slight smile.
Receiving a nod from most of them in response, the young man nodded in return as he double checked how ready their guild was for the raid.
"Reconnaissance team. Ready?"
"Yes, guild leader!"
"Vanguard?"
"Ready as we'll ever be, guild leader."
"Support and DPS?"
"Ready!"
"Good to hear." Slightly grinning at the responses he got, Valyr then turned to look at the four that would accompany him as the main team.
"I presume you guys are ready as well?"
"With the upgrades you've given us, we're more than ready," replied Thomas with a grin as Alisa and the two siblings profusely nodded in agreement.
Letting out a slight chuckle at the response the four gave him, the young man briefly thought back to the moment he gave the four the new sets of equipment he forged for them.
Unsurprisingly, the four were completely left at a loss for words after receiving it, looking at Valyr with excitement as they thought about how they'd now be able to do much more in the world raid.

Of course, the other guild members that accompanied them look at the five with envy after that, leaving the young man with no choice but to promise the others that they'd also get new equipment the moment they were done with the world raid.
With that, it was no surprise that the members of the Azure Coalition now looked forward to the world raid with greater drive and motivation, eager to show their guild leader 120% of their effort for what was to come.
After all, if they were to fail, they wouldn't be able to get their hands on any of the rewards.
"Ready?" Seeing that his guild was more than ready to enter the world raid, Valyr briefly glanced at the gate leading to the world raid before turning to look at Malutar.
"All ready." Nodding in response to his question, Malutar glanced at the other guild leaders, only to receive nods from the three in return.
Nodding once more, the man then moved closer to the gate before taking out one of the keys his guild had collected from his pocket.
Whoosh!
Gradually moving the key closer and closer to the gate, the key eventually flew out of Malutar's hand on its own, bursting out with red and white light before transforming into strands of similar-colored energy.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
One by one, the strands made their way to the gate and melded with it, causing everyone in the area to sense that the gate was seemingly awakening from what felt like a long slumber.
Rumble…
After waiting for a minute or so, the gate finally opened after absorbing enough strands, briefly radiating an aura that caused many in the large group to pale and shudder in fear.
Of course, Valyr and the other guild leaders weren't too affected by the aura due to their high level. However, the aura the gate emanated prompted them to look at each other with serious expressions.
"Our guild will be heading in first," said Malutar after some time, to which the other guild leaders accepted without much complaint.
"I'll send a message in the chat once we're sure it's safe."
Leaving those words to the four guild leaders, the man went ahead and led his guild into the gate after that, their bodies disappearing from everyone else's vision the moment they touched the rift.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Watching the members of Malutar's guild disappear one by one in front of their very eyes, Valyr and the other guild leaders held their breaths as they waited for confirmation from the other side.
Fortunately, it did not take long for them to receive the message they were waiting for, allowing them to inwardly let out sighs of relief as they had their guilds enter the rift one by one.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
With his guild unknowingly becoming the last to enter the rift, Valyr briefly looked at his members with a slightly wry smile.
Then, after letting out a faint sigh, he had the other members of the guild go first, saving his own group for last.
Whoosh!
Briefly feeling a sense of nausea from going through the rift, the young man soon focused his attention on their surroundings, taking note of the five paths that extended from where he and the others stood.
Seeing that almost everyone in the five guilds were looking at the setting of the world raid in wonder, Valyr briefly let out a chuckle at the sight as he took the opportunity to refresh what he knew about the world raid.
'Lamentations of the Red Wyvern… one of the hardest world raids one could gain access to before becoming a Myth.'
'Though there are a few subtle differences between the various versions of the same Lamentation, there are three things that remain consistent throughout all of them.'
'The five paths, the final story, and the secret treasure.'
Valyr's eyes began to glisten.
'Depending on how well all of the guilds do on the five paths, the rewards one would get at the final story could improve.'
'However, in the off chance that the other guilds don't do well on their own paths, then there's still the option of obtaining the secret treasure.'
'Fortunately for us, the secret treasure is only accessible through the rightmost path.'
With a slight smile on his face, Valyr watched as the four guilds finally began to head to their chosen paths, with Lighthouse being the first to make a move.
After that, Big Richard and Krakatatakark followed suit, wishing both Valyr and SoaringSkies1's guild the best of luck as they entered their own respective paths.
Giving the young man a brief look of disdain, SoaringSkies1 soon led his guild towards the path they've chosen, leaving Valyr and the members of Azure Coalition behind.
"Shall we proceed on our own path, then?" Watching the members of Soaring Skies disappear from their field of vision, the young man turned to look at his guild members before asking them with an eager smile.
Receiving a mix of grins and profuse nods from everyone in response, Valyr let out a chuckle as he led his guild towards the rightmost path available for them.
"Let us see for ourselves how a red wyvern can fall from heaven's grace."
