Mommy Alert! The CEO Daddy Won't Stop Courting-Chapter 706 Arnold, hold on...
As Troy Cowell’s words fell, all the thugs began to move.
Of course, just as the thugs sprang into action, the Whitehill guards who had been entangled with them, as well as the international police led by Mark, also moved into action.
Under such perilous weather that could claim lives at any moment, the battle resumed once more.
While these people fought fiercely, the storm intensified, and the tornado raged on.
The sound of the tornado grew louder, as if a dozen military jets were circling above everyone’s heads.
And as the tornado ravaged on, the surrounding pressure grew stronger, making it almost impossible for anyone to breathe.
All the fights were once again forced to a halt.
In the next second after the battle was forced to stop, one by one... more and more people were sucked into the tornado, including Mark himself.
Within the black, rapidly spinning tornado, Mark found it hard to breathe, and his body felt as if it was being torn apart by an invisible giant hand.
Just when Mark thought he would be torn apart by this invisible hand, he was lucky enough to be thrown out by it, plunging into a newly formed sea.
One would have to say Mark was indeed very lucky.
The violent tornado, strong enough to shred people into pieces, did not inflict any harm on Mark from the time he was sucked in to when he was hurled into the sea.
After Mark fell into the sea, before he could even react, he heard a familiar shout, "Boss!"
The next second, a slender figure jumped directly toward the spot where he plunged into the sea.
In the turbulent sea, Mark swiftly locked onto the waist of the person who had jumped toward him, using the other hand to quickly grab onto a piece of driftwood floating by.
Then, with a turn, Mark directly flung Arnold onto the tree which he had grabbed hold of, and only after ensuring Arnold had a firm grip did he sternly rebuke, "Arnold, are you crazy!"
Arnold looked at Mark.
After confirming that Mark’s complexion was normal and that he didn’t appear to be harmed by that terrifying tornado,
his heart, which had been tense, finally relaxed.
Arnold chuckled, revealing two adorable little fangs, "Boss, don’t you think it’s safer here?"
Mark: "..."
Well, although they were currently stranded in the churning sea, they had avoided the life-threatening tornado ravaging the shore.
Mark and Arnold just clung onto the tree, drifting along with the rapid currents, surrounded by lifeless bodies and severed limbs...
Seeing this, Arnold was completely terrified, his little face turning pale.
Compared to Arnold’s panic, Mark was somewhat calmer, but still deeply shocked.
He looked towards Kuhn’s direction.
In his sight, the boy in white still stood there, facing the wind.
The remaining thugs, who hadn’t been swept into the sea and were temporarily alive, were attacking Kuhn with their guns...
Mark knew very well, more clearly than most who had already perished, or those still struggling desperately in danger. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
All of this was due to the anger of that boy in white.
Because of the boy’s rage, the once-clear weather turned ominous.
This place became shrouded in dark clouds and torrential rain.
Only then did the sky and earth reverse, mountains crumbled, and seawater poured in, creating this eerie, apocalyptic scene.
Mark had always known Kuhn was extraordinary, since the first moment they met, but never had he known that the boy possessed such earth-shattering strength, so mysterious!
So how could those bullets possibly harm such a mysterious boy with the power to destroy worlds!
While Mark was still gazing at Kuhn, the tree he and Arnold were holding onto suddenly crashed into a large rock.
The unexpected impact numbed Mark’s hand, almost dislodging it from the tree that was keeping him and Arnold alive in the sea.
Mark quickly snapped back to reality.
He tightened his grip on the tree, using his other hand to firmly grasp Arnold, who had nearly been swept away by the sea because of the sudden collision.
In the second after Mark grabbed Arnold, the tree that had collided with the rock spun and once again carried both Mark and Arnold, swept away by the raging sea.
In such a harsh environment, neither Mark nor Arnold knew where the sea would take them, or how long they could survive in this vast ocean?
Mark’s face bore his usual mischievous, roguish smile.
Seeing Arnold’s pale face, he jokingly but steadily said, "Arnold, hold on! We can’t die in this sea. You know, it would be shameful to die here when so many wicked villains couldn’t take us down."
Arnold clung tightly to Mark’s arm.
He looked at Mark with cunning eyes filled with determined resolve, "Boss, I won’t let anything happen to you. Protecting you is my duty!"
Mark laughed.
This kid was just too entertaining!
Protecting him?
If it weren’t for him, this kid would have already been swept away to who knows where by the sea!
But considering this kid jumped down immediately to ’save’ him despite the danger after he got into trouble, Mark decided to keep quiet about his blunder.
Thinking so, Mark smiled and said, "Alright, alright, protecting me is your duty. Boss believes, you can surely protect me well!"
Though he said this, Mark’s tone was filled with skepticism.
Arnold looked at Mark with dissatisfaction, retorting, "Boss, what do you mean? Don’t you believe in my abilities, in my ability to protect you?"
Saying that, Arnold loosened one hand, preparing to make a fist and flex his arm in a muscular show-off pose.
Mark laughed, stopping Arnold in time.
He grabbed the hand Arnold had loosened from his arm, and with force pulled Arnold into his embrace, securing him to the tree.
Then, teasingly said, "Kid, your arms are so thin, do you even have muscles?"
Before Arnold could reply, Mark’s slender hand that had just wrapped around Arnold to secure him between himself and the tree, extended to grip the tree firmly.
Just like that, Arnold was pinned between Mark’s chest and the tree.
