Chapter 720: Chapter 720: Won’t It Be Very Abrupt?

In the dining room, Beichen Rui and Ye Xinluo sat side by side. He picked up the milk on the table and took a sip, suddenly thinking of the little guy. He glanced at the time; Jingxi should have gone to school by now and probably hadn’t even crossed paths with Liang Qianqian.

A bowl of pumpkin porridge was placed in front of her. Beichen Rui handed her a spoon, "Your stomach is uncomfortable, have some porridge."

"Okay..." She took the spoon, had a sip, and found the taste quite nice, so she started eating.

Ye Xinluo wasn’t familiar with Liang Qianqian and didn’t have much to say. Throughout the meal, they were the ones talking while she listened quietly on the side. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

After finishing the meal, her stomach felt a bit uncomfortable. Just as she was about to head back to her room to rest, she hadn’t even reached the stairs when Liang Qianqian came over and stopped her.

"Sister-in-law, I just ate and am feeling a bit bored, can you accompany me for a walk?"

She hesitated for a moment, lightly pressed her lips together. Even though she felt somewhat reluctant, she didn’t say anything, just gave a slight nod and walked outside with her.

She had just started her period last night, her lower abdomen faintly aching. Considering Liang Qianqian was a guest, it wouldn’t have been polite to refuse her; she could only grit her teeth and endure it.

They came to the garden, first taking a look around the flower room. After spending about ten minutes inside, they headed out, strolled around the yard, and walked around the villa. Suddenly, they noticed a vegetable patch.

Her eyes flashed with a hint of brightness as she quickly approached to take a look. The vegetables were growing exceptionally well, thanks to the servants’ meticulous care. Each vegetable was vibrant with no signs of insect damage.

"Sister-in-law, did the servants plant this vegetable patch? Why plant this in the villa? Doesn’t it seem a bit out of place to have a vegetable garden in such a big villa?"

Ye Xinluo just lightly pressed her lips and replied, "The servants didn’t plant this."

"No? Then who planted it?"

"I did."

"Ah? Sorry, sister-in-law, I didn’t mean it. You’re not angry with me, are you?" Liang Qianqian exclaimed in surprise, covering her mouth as if she had heard something astonishing, "Why did you think of planting this, sister-in-law?"

"I was bored, just did it randomly," she answered absentmindedly. She just wanted to go back and rest; she felt weak, the pain in her lower abdomen growing more noticeable, and wasn’t in the mood to talk.

Finally, after she finished looking around, they returned to the house, and her face was already pale.

"Young Madam, are you alright? Are you feeling unwell?" Tong Ma saw her looking unwell and immediately came forward to support her.

"I’m fine, my stomach just feels a bit uncomfortable." Normally, she would be in severe pain during her period, and this time was no different. It started hurting last night and unexpectedly continued today.

Liang Qianqian had already headed to the living room. Seeing that she hadn’t arrived after a while, Beichen Rui felt a bit uneasy and walked over, noticing her looking unwell.

He immediately stepped forward to support her, wiped the sweat off her forehead, bent down to carry her in his arms, and strode upstairs.

As they passed by the living room, they stopped. "Grandpa, Xinluo isn’t feeling well, I’ll take her upstairs first."

"Oh, okay, go quickly. Qianqian is here with me."

They went upstairs, he kicked open the bedroom door, carried her inside, and gently placed her on the bed.

Tong Ma brought a cup of red sugar water to the bedside, "Young Madam, drinking some red sugar water might help a bit."

"Thank you." She reached out to take it, frowning as she drank it, then handed the cup back to her. Afterwards, Tong Ma left the room, closing the door behind her.
