Mr. CEO's Substitute Bride-Chapter 887 - 883: You’re Not Welcome Here!
After having dinner together, Steven British drove Mia Foster home. Watching Steven’s car slowly leave, Mia turned to open the door to her house.
As she walked up the stairs, she sniffed carefully. There seemed to be a smell of oil smoke, which puzzled her since breakfast had been bread and milk, and it had been a whole day, there shouldn’t be any smell of oil smoke.
Upon reaching the second floor, she didn’t have time to go to her room to change clothes. Mia put down her lily and bag and directly entered the kitchen.
On the dining table, there was a plate and cutlery, with a bit of unfinished fried egg inside, and next to it was half a glass of plain water, showing traces of someone having eaten at home.
Scanning the dining room briefly, Mia instinctively walked quickly towards the guest room.
The door was open, and Felix Shaw was lying on the bed in a sweatshirt and long pants, one hand on his leg and the other holding his forehead, seemingly having fallen asleep unknowingly.
She recalled the photo and description from the entertainment headline, "Shaw Group’s President remains debonair, celebrating New Year’s Eve with two young starlets at home..."
Thinking of this made Mia inevitably angry. He had promised not to have affairs with any women, yet he went behind her back to secretly date actresses... She quickly walked into the guest room and rudely woke Felix Shaw up.
"Get up! Don’t sleep on my bed!" In anger, Mia’s voice was loud as she grabbed Felix’s arm and dragged him off the bed. The man, startled awake from deep sleep, opened his bleary eyes and saw the woman standing before him.
"Back already?"
"Felix Shaw! Get up, and leave immediately! You’re not welcome here!"
Just waking up, Felix felt a bit slow to react. Seeing Mia motioning for him to leave, Felix frowned in confusion and asked, "What’s wrong, Mia? Did something happen?"
Felix’s reaction looked innocent in Mia’s eyes. Hugging her arms, she coldly chuckled, "Nothing happened. I’m in a bad mood and don’t want to see you, so please leave immediately."
"Mia..." Felix stood up, and as he reached for Mia’s arm, she waved him off firmly, pointing at the door, and said righteously, "Felix Shaw, don’t make me repeat myself. My patience is limited; leave now!"
"What the hell happened?" Felix asked helplessly, puzzled. He had talked to her on the phone before coming, and everything seemed fine, so why was she suddenly so hostile when they met?
"What happened?" With a cold laugh, Mia’s curled lips clearly showed sarcasm as she stared at Felix’s face mockingly, "You should know what you’ve done. From today onwards, we’re officially done!"
Saying this, Mia raised her hand to point again, "You, leave immediately, or I’ll call the police!"
"Mia Foster! Are you crazy? Even if you want to sentence me to death, let me die knowing why!"
"Die knowing why?" Mia laughed coldly again, with deep sarcasm, and then her expression turned stern as she accused, "Felix Shaw, I know everything you’ve done! Since you can’t control yourself, don’t show up in front of me to disgust me!"
Because she couldn’t let go, she was willing to give him a chance. But her feelings weren’t a bargaining chip to be repeatedly deceived by him. She could endure his indifference but would never tolerate his deceit!
If those two women were rivals in love, she wouldn’t back down. But obviously, they’re his pastime in her absence. She had her work and no time or energy to supervise him all day. Besides, she didn’t care.
Having been taught a lesson before, she didn’t want to try a second time!
