Chapter 903: Chapter 899: Taken Back to China

Unfortunately, she underestimated Felix Shaw’s intelligence. How could a man who thrives in the business arena be an epitome of silliness?

He raised her mischievous hand to his lips for a gentle kiss, his thin lips curved slightly, "Darling, don’t think you can use your charms to trick me into giving back the documents. Your husband isn’t foolish."

Mia Foster...

She was almost ready to curse.

After a brief game of wits, Mia Foster was whisked away by Felix Shaw, only managing a quick shower without even being allowed to say hello to Steven British. In the hotel, she heard Felix Shaw book their flight home, and they entered the airport lounge together at one in the morning.

The cunning and petty man didn’t worry about her sneaking away since he held her weakness in his hands, and he didn’t even bother to help with her luggage.

Dragging her feet behind Felix Shaw, this was the first time in her life Mia Foster felt so lifeless. Luckily, she had arranged everything before flying to Paris, otherwise, the company might turn into chaos if she went missing tomorrow.

Mia Foster quickened her pace and caught up with the tall man ahead, "Felix Shaw, could you give me back my phone? I need to make a call."

"Who are you calling?" The latter turned with a careless charm that was very appealing. Mia Foster acknowledged that, to her, Felix Shaw had always been the epitome of perfection. Even after three years of resentment and avoidance, a mischievous smile from him could stir her heart.

"Calling my parents, to prepare them." Otherwise, suddenly appearing at home without notice would surely get her scolded by her parents.

"No need. We’ll visit them together after we return home."

Felix Shaw turned his head back, his chin slightly raised, looking forward.

Mia Foster knew this man was stubborn. If he didn’t want to return the phone, no matter how much she pleaded, he wouldn’t agree. She had learned this back at the hotel.

At this moment, she should have been comfortably lying on the hotel bed sleeping, but instead, she found herself forced to the airport, feeling gloomy. Mia Foster said in a displeased tone, "You carry the suitcase for me; I’m going to buy a cup of coffee."

"Sit down and rest first. I’ll buy it." Felix Shaw said as he walked towards the rest bench, placing his suitcase down and heading to the airport shop.

"Jerk!" Watching Felix Shaw’s back, Mia Foster cursed quietly, exhausted and with aching legs, slumping onto the bench unwilling to move again.

Ten minutes later, Felix Shaw returned with two hot drinks, both milk teas, no coffee, handing one to Mia Foster along with a bag. "It’s too late; coffee will cause insomnia. Have some hot drinks instead."

Mia Foster glared at Felix Shaw with displeasure, but she took the hot drink and food bag, sipping milk tea while munching on what Felix Shaw had bought.

Having not eaten anything from afternoon till evening, even the snacks she usually disdained turned into delicious treats.

Seeing Mia Foster eat with gusto, Felix Shaw glanced over and said, "I picked them randomly. I thought you wouldn’t like them."

Actually, it wasn’t random. He picked them carefully after a long thought.

"I know you wouldn’t be so considerate!" Mia Foster retorted in annoyance, though secretly touched, thinking it nice of him to bring snacks considering men typically dislike them.
