Mr. CEO's Substitute Bride-Chapter 916 - 912: Premeditation, Taking Back My Documents (Part 2)
Felix Shaw returned in less than a week, and as soon as he stepped in the door, he called out, "Honey, I’m back. Did you miss me?"
Through phone calls before coming back home, Felix Shaw knew he was coming home today, while Mia Foster was busy in the kitchen.
Hearing the hum of the exhaust fan coming from the kitchen, Felix Shaw put down his suitcase and walked into the kitchen. Mia Foster stood by the stove, stir-frying something, her silhouette exuding a sense of beauty and warmth.
He walked over and hugged Mia Foster from behind, kissed her earlobe, and said softly, "Honey, I’m back. Did you miss me?"
Rarely, Mia Foster didn’t quarrel with him as she usually did, glanced at him, and said, "Go take a shower, dinner will be ready soon."
"Honey, you’re so good,"
Felix Shaw pecked Mia Foster’s lips, tightened his arms around her waist reluctantly before letting go and heading towards the kitchen door.
Turning his head to glance, the corners of Mia Foster’s lips curved into a meaningful smile.
Dinner was sumptuous, six dishes with a mix of meat and vegetables, and there was soup.
When Felix Shaw came out wrapped in a bath towel, Mia Foster was busy setting the table, glanced at him, "Get dressed and come for dinner,"
Felix Shaw smiled and agreed, returned to the bedroom to put on home clothes before coming back to the dining table. Staring at the glass of red wine in front of him, he asked puzzledly, "What’s the occasion today?" so many dishes and a bottle of wine opened.
Mia Foster laughed, raising her wine glass, "To welcome you back."
Being treated like this by Mia Foster, Felix Shaw felt a bit flattered. As he lifted his glass, Mia Foster lightly clinked her glass with his, watched him slowly drink all the red wine in his glass.
Felix Shaw wasn’t to be outdone, tipping his head back to finish his drink.
Mia Foster picked up chopsticks to serve Felix Shaw some food, "Try this, see how it tastes."
Felix Shaw also picked up his own chopsticks, tasted the food as Mia Foster watched. He chewed slowly and said, "Delicious."
Mia Foster didn’t rush to eat, grabbed the wine bottle and refilled their glasses. Felix Shaw put down his chopsticks and raised his glass, "Honey, this one’s to you."
Mia Foster also raised her glass, resting one arm on the table, half-smiling at Felix Shaw, and asked, "Why to me?"
Felix Shaw licked his lips, his handsome face taking on a serious expression, "Mia, I know you’ve been blaming me in your heart, blaming me for bringing you back," pausing there, he continued, "Mia, we’re not young anymore, let’s not fight, okay?"
Mia Foster smiled slightly, "Okay," and actively clinked glasses with Felix Shaw, brought the wine to her lips, staring at him as she slowly drank, only after Felix Shaw finished his drink did she take a big swig, then stood up to hook Felix Shaw’s neck, actively offering her lips.
Beautifully feeding him wine, Felix Shaw sought nothing more, leaned forward to hold Mia Foster’s head, and after their lips met, she slowly passed the liquid in her mouth over to him. The wine completely transferred, Felix Shaw didn’t stop, holding Mia Foster’s head and kissing for a long time before letting go.
"Honey, so sweet," Felix Shaw said after sitting down, Mia Foster playfully tilted her head, "Want me to feed you like this again?"
"Yes,"
Felix Shaw thought this business trip was worth it, as they say, a brief separation makes for a better honeymoon, in just a few days, their relationship had been enhanced.
In this harmonious atmosphere, dinner ended, the couple finished a whole bottle of red wine, Felix Shaw was urged by Mia Foster to rest in the bedroom, while she herself walked into the bathroom.
