At West Joy, Nicholas Croft went to the front desk to ask about Elizabeth White’s room. As a big shot in the entertainment industry, inquiring about an artist’s room number, the front desk certainly wouldn’t refuse. After checking the computer, they provided the room number.

Following Nicholas Croft to Elizabeth White’s room, he stood at the door and rang the bell several times, but no one answered. Later, he called for service to open the door. Inside, Elizabeth White had already left, leaving only Felix Shaw still asleep on the bed.

"Mia, open the window." Nicholas Croft sniffed carefully. As he instructed Mia Foster, he had already moved to another window, reaching out to push it open.

Although she didn’t know why Nicholas wanted the window open, Mia Foster still complied. Nicholas approached the bed, looking at his still-sleeping friend, shaking his head with a bitter smile, "Elizabeth is really ruthless." She had actually used a double dose.

One was an incense, which he detected upon entering the room. However, this scent wasn’t dangerous; green tea served as the antidote. The other was likely mixed into the red wine; a half-opened bottle still sat on the low table. If it were just one drug, Felix Shaw wouldn’t be sleeping this long.

After pushing open all the windows in the room, Mia Foster approached the bed, shaking the arm Felix Shaw had left exposed from the quilt, "Bastard! Wake up!"

"It’s useless, the heavy drug is too deep," Nicholas Croft glanced over indifferently and then looked around again.

Based on the video Mia Foster showed him, he roughly analyzed that there were at least three recording devices hidden in the room by Elizabeth.

With a shiver, Felix Shaw slowly opened his eyes. When Mia Foster’s figure came into view, he asked hoarsely, "Honey, is it time to go to work?"

Seeing Mia Foster just looking at him coldly without speaking, Felix Shaw rubbed his dirty temples. Though drowsy, he forced himself to sit up.

Supported by both Nicholas Croft and Mia Foster, Felix Shaw was led out of the hotel, brain feeling like mush, as scattered fragments flitted before his eyes. But in his weary state, he had no energy to ponder them.

Stuffed into the back seat by Mia Foster, Felix Shaw drifted back into a daze once the car started, resting against the seat back, his handsome face ashen, and in just a morning, his attractive eyes had visibly sunken.

Glancing through the rearview mirror, Mia Foster felt both angry and pained.

She clearly understood from Nicholas Croft’s remarks that her man had almost been drained by that bitch!

Damn! How dare she scheme against her man? It seems she doesn’t want to mix in the entertainment circle anymore!

Looking ahead, Mia Foster’s hand gripping the steering wheel tightened involuntarily.

After parking in front of the apartment building, Mia Foster pushed open the car door and got out. In the back seat, Felix Shaw was still asleep.

Opening the back door with a huff, Mia Foster called out, "Bastard! Stop sleeping, we’re home!"

Startled awake by her lion-like roar, Felix Shaw suddenly opened his eyes, his dazed gaze lingered for a moment before muttering, aiding himself out of the car, almost stumbling as his feet gave way.

Mia Foster grew angrier—not only at the drug Elizabeth used that exhausted her man to this extent but also at Felix Shaw for not having any guard against that bitch!

Filled with anger yet having to support Felix Shaw, she helped him down, draping his arm over her shoulder to lead him into the apartment.

"Honey, I had a dream, and in it, we were together for a very long time..."

As they entered the house, Felix Shaw voiced the recurring images from his mind. Glancing back at him, Mia Foster retorted with annoyance, "It wasn’t a dream, you were drugged by that bitch Elizabeth White!"
