Ethan Grant thought about how Serena bought him many clothes today, straightened up, and said clearly, "She likes to be with me."
"You..."
Anna Morgan was infuriated by this shameless guy Ethan. If she had known, she wouldn’t have called him and would have handled Felicity Sterling’s matter herself.
At worst, she would just fight with Felicity.
"I’ll have Carter Lockwood pick you up."
After saying that, Ethan turned around, got in the car, and quickly closed the door.
Anna was left outside, stunned. Before she could react, the car started, and Ethan drove away with her Serena.
"You scumbag Ethan!"
Anna stomped her foot; damn Ethan only knew how to fight her for Serena.
Wait, what did he just say? Have Uncle Carter come pick her up!
Anna immediately thought of Carter’s cold face, her heart shrank, scared to be alone with Carter.
Every time she’s with him, she’s all tense, doesn’t dare to talk much, doesn’t dare to eat much, causing her brother and dad to think there’s something between her and Carter!
How could it be!
Carter is her uncle! He’s her elder!
Anna wanted to leave but thought that if she didn’t wait for Yama Carter to come, his icy face would be even scarier, so she obediently stayed to wait.
Inside the car, Ethan held the steering wheel, emphasizing, "Serena, you are mine!"
"Pfft." Serena laughed. She thought it was quite amusing that Ethan and Anna fought over her like two kids.
"What are you laughing at!"
Ethan turned his head to look at Serena, realizing that though it had only been a morning since he last saw her, Serena looked haggard and thinner.
"When we get back, I’ll make fish for you."
Ever since Serena said she liked to eat fish, Ethan had been diligently practicing his cooking skills at home.
The fish on the cutting board, he no longer just chops with a knife but can slice it into thin pieces or cut it into neat chunks.
The cooked fish tastes really good, with no earthy or fishy taste.
He can make many different dishes out of one fish.
"Okay!"
Serena smiled with the corners of her mouth, her eyelids heavy, ready to drop when Ethan called her name again.
"Serena, I don’t like Felicity Sterling!"
Serena opened her eyes and saw Ethan looking at her with anticipation.
"The smell on her is terrible, and I haven’t even spoken to her."
Ethan hadn’t replied to Felicity just to keep Serena from getting angry.
"I know." Serena looked at Ethan pleasing her like a loyal puppy and smiled softly; this Ethan was quite cute.
"She isn’t as pretty as you, not as gentle, nor as kind."
In short, Serena is perfect in his heart; in short, he only wants Serena for this lifetime!
"I know." Serena smiled softly, even in her tired state, she still replied with these three words.
"Let’s quickly get rid of Sterling."
"Okay!"
Serena’s voice faded, "As soon as I sit in the car, I feel sleepy, I’ll nap for a bit."
"Mm-hmm."
Ethan responded, leaned over, and kissed Serena’s lips, "Serena, I’m here with you."
He hugged Serena in his arms; the sleeping her was as obedient as a delicate doll, and as he watched and watched, he said,
"I’ll take you to the old house tomorrow to settle our matters."
"Once we’re done treating your leg, we’ll come back and have a wedding, how does that sound?"
"Do you prefer an island or a grassland, or should we travel and have a wedding?"
As he spoke more, he liked to talk with Serena. While speaking, he turned to find Serena had fallen asleep, and the smile on his lips grew wider.
