Chapter 471: Chapter 470: More Danger Than Safety

"Why call the police!"

Ethan Grant replied coldly, his voice trembling slightly as he smoked aggressively.

"Sir!"

Yvette Sterling noticed Ethan Grant’s fear and avoidance, but finding Serena Sullivan was the most urgent task now.

"If we don’t have people come to search, I’m afraid Madam..."

Yvette wanted to say, chances of survival are slim!

Then he thought, even if people came to search, they might not find her.

This island is on the sea, the ocean stretches as far as the eye can see, if she’s really in there, where could we find her!

"Serena will be fine."

Ethan Grant lowered his voice, spoke gently, "Let’s go back."

He appeared calm, his voice steady, which made Yvette feel very uncomfortable.

Mr. Grant loves Serena Sullivan deeply, as an observer, Yvette could see it clearly.

If they found Serena’s body here now, Mr. Grant might not hesitate before jumping in.

Though they said to go back, Ethan Grant did not turn around, he first slowly smoked, his gaze fixed on the shoes floating on the sea, smoking more and more agitatedly, until he took four or five drags in a row and coughed violently, his face flushed.

"What are you standing around for! Get someone over here!"

Suddenly, Ethan Grant spoke angrily, he fiercely threw the cigarette in his hand to the ground, and ran quickly toward the sea.

Yvette, who was about to make a phone call, saw Ethan Grant rushing toward the sea, panicked, and immediately followed, fearing Ethan Grant might plunge into the sea.

Ethan Grant did dive in, but he went in to retrieve Serena’s shoe.

Before seeing Serena, he wouldn’t be foolish enough to take his own life.

The shoe was clenched in his hand, and people from the Sterling Family discovered their intrusion and came over to surround Ethan Grant and the others.

Ethan Grant raised his head, looked at the Sterling Family members, and said in a calm voice, "Where is Simon Sterling!"

The previous courtesy towards the Sterling Family had vanished.

He came with full hope to find Serena Sullivan, but what did he end up seeing!

The Sterling Family servants saw a man completely drenched, holding a shoe, coldly saying he wanted to find their master.

The hatred and fury in the man’s eyes made them uneasy.

"Sir has returned!"

A servant shouted, as Mr. Sterling, who had rushed to the Imperial Capital, suddenly came back.

On his return, his eyelids twitched, and before boarding the plane, he called the servant taking care of Serena, who said Serena was in her room.

He didn’t know why he insisted on seeing Serena, asking the servant to start a video.

The servant brought the phone to the bedroom, found Serena wasn’t inside, and panicked.

Mr. Sterling immediately became frantic, hurriedly bringing people over.

Upon arrival, he saw the Sterling Family servants surrounding Ethan Grant and the others by the sea.

"Ethan Grant!"

Mr. Sterling spotted Ethan Grant’s sudden appearance, frowned, wondering if Serena being missing from the room was related to Ethan Grant, then matched Ethan Grant’s eyes full of hatred, and as he looked up, saw the overturned wheelchair on the beach, he was instantly stunned.

"Serena..."

Mr. Sterling drew back his gaze, seeing Ethan Grant holding a shoe caused further panic.

"Where is Serena!"

Ethan Grant coldly asked.

Mr. Sterling knew the seriousness of the situation, while instructing a search of the island for Serena, he headed back to the villa to check the surveillance.

Hearing his arrangements, Ethan Grant followed silently.

Following behind Mr. Sterling, Ethan Grant glared coldly and fiercely at Mr. Sterling’s back.

Had he not feared wasting time, Ethan Grant wouldn’t be polite with Mr. Sterling at all!
