My Aloof Husband, Mr. Drexler, Dotes Me Excessively-Chapter 319: She Has This Kind of Hobby Too?
His footsteps came to a halt, but he couldn’t help frowning slightly.
Moments later, he started moving again, though his steps were much quieter.
As he reached the sofa, Noah Drexler stopped and looked down at the woman sleeping on the couch. A softened expression appeared on Liam Coldwell’s usually stern face.
The next second, he raised his hand, removed his suit jacket, and tossed it onto the sofa. After unbuttoning one of his shirt buttons casually, he bent down, lifting her from the sofa with his arms, and turned towards the bed.
Just as he placed her on the bed, Summer Shawcross was startled awake.
Seeing her awaken, he didn’t bother to straighten up, simply leaning over to look at her. Upon seeing her still-drowsy appearance, a trace of tenderness flashed across his stern face.
She opened her eyes groggily, seeing Noah Drexler’s handsome face... For a moment, she was taken aback, then spoke with a hint of delight...
But after glancing at the clock, her heart tightened.
"Did you just get back?"
Had he worked overtime until midnight again?
"Mm." Noah Drexler replied with a slight nod.
Upon hearing this, Summer Shawcross fell silent, feeling a bit helpless inside.
Ever since canceling the Rovena project, Noah Drexler had been busy with new projects, working overtime until midnight, and leaving again before dawn, leaving her little time to chat with him.
"I made dumplings with the housekeeper today. Wait a moment, I’ll cook some for you." She remembered something and attempted to get up from the bed, but the man wrapped his arm around her waist and pressed her back down onto the bed.
"Don’t move, let me hold you for a while."
He’s been so busy these days, he barely had time to hold her properly.
Summer was stunned but then settled down, allowing him to hold her.
After a while, Noah Drexler raised his head, looking down at her face, and spoke softly.
"You don’t have to wait for me to come back." 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
Over the past few days, he had been working overtime until midnight, and upon returning, he always saw her fighting off sleep, which made him feel tenderhearted.
After he finished speaking, Summer Shawcross paused, then pursed her lips and said.
"Who said I was waiting for you? I was watching TV dramas."
After saying that, she felt a bit guilty, so she added another sentence.
"The good dramas recently all air until midnight."
After she said this, Noah Drexler raised an eyebrow, watching TV dramas? He didn’t remember her having such a hobby before.
"Oh? What drama are you watching?" The man quirked an eyebrow, his handsome face filled with indulgence as he looked at her with interest.
Being asked this, Summer Shawcross was taken aback, then smartly came up with an excuse.
"You don’t watch TV dramas, even if I tell you, you wouldn’t know."
