Chapter 337: Chapter 337: An Unusual Warmth...

Summer Shawcross couldn’t help but be curious, wanting to open the box to see what was inside.

At that moment, the sound of footsteps suddenly came from the direction of the staircase.

Hearing the man’s footsteps, Summer paused, feeling inexplicably guilty, and quickly put the box down.

By the time she turned around, Noah Drexler had already walked downstairs.

Having just finished showering, the man in a white shirt and black trousers was wiping his short hair with a white towel as he walked towards her with long strides.

"Hungry?" Seeing her standing by the dining table, he couldn’t help but frown slightly and asked.

"Not really..." Summer smiled.

Seeing this, Noah pressed his thin lips together and casually threw the towel onto the sofa, then turned and walked towards the kitchen.

"I’ll prepare breakfast."

The housekeeper had already left last night, so today he had to prepare breakfast himself.

"Noah Drexler, wait a moment..." Seeing him turn to leave, Summer was startled and quickly called out to stop him.

As soon as her voice rang out, Noah stopped in his tracks and turned to look at her.

"Is this... for me?" She picked up the box on the dining table and asked him, puzzled.

Upon hearing this, Noah lowered his eyes to look at the box in her hand, his eyes deepening.

"Yes." He pressed his lips together and admitted.

"Then can I open it to take a look?" She glanced at him, then asked with a dry laugh.

There was no way around it; she was too curious about what kind of birthday gift Noah, a man like him, would prepare for her.

From childhood to now, gifts were never something she lacked, yet never had she anticipated a gift like she did now, the one he would give her.

Knowing full well that the gift he prepared might not be something she liked, yet she couldn’t help but be curious and expectant in her heart.

Upon hearing this, Noah frowned slightly.

After a few seconds of silence, he spoke to her in a steady voice.

"Open it after breakfast."

Hearing him say this, Summer pursed her lips but said nothing in response, eventually obediently putting the box down and nodding gently.

"Okay."

...

While Noah was preparing breakfast, Summer went upstairs, freshened up, and changed into a dress.

The wardrobe in the room held several sets of both her and Noah’s clothes to change into.

By the time she finished freshening up and came downstairs, the fragrance of delicious food was wafting through the ground floor, surprising her a little.

Noah emerged from the kitchen, carrying two freshly prepared plates of stir-fried noodles.

Summer was stunned, her eyes fixed on him.

The man, wearing only a white shirt, walked out of the kitchen, exuding a warmth that was exceedingly comforting...

The usual chill about him was mostly gone by now.

Though, his handsome face still showed little emotion.

Summer watched him, unable to hold back her fascination...

Noah came to the dining table, placing the two plates of stir-fried noodles on the table.

Only then did Summer come back to her senses, walking to the dining table to sit down. She immediately leaned in to smell them, her face lighting up with delight.

"Smells great..." she exclaimed in surprise.

She was a bit taken aback, having not expected him to actually cook...

Noah handed her a fork, and Summer took it, eagerly taking a bite of the stir-fried noodles he had made...
