Liza suddenly stopped as if remembering something.

“She did say ‘the others’ so you’re probably included in that.”
Ms. Lyra was definitely the one she liked best. She had taken care of Liza from the moment she was brought here.

As there were a lot more fenrirs with us now, Ms. Chita and Ms. Cheryl helped to prepare the food, as well as Ms. Gelda. And while it was rather chaotic, we finally finished dinner.
Once they were full, the fenrirs became very relaxed and quiet. But it had been quite different while they ate.
They were big and ate a lot… Once we went to Range Village, it might be a good idea to hire a full-time cook for the fenrirs.
I discussed such things seriously with Claire and Sebastian while we had tea.

After training and taking a shower, I put on my nice clothes that Ms. Lyra had prepared.
And then I took what I needed and went out into the garden.
The fenrirs were there, and it was now decorated with various flowers made with Weed Cultivation, and so I thought it was the perfect spot.
Basically, it was a great place to relax and talk together.
As for the things I brought, I hid them in a cloth under the table.
Thanks to the dim light, they should not be seen.

I took in a deep breath and relaxed my nerves.
During dinner, I tried my best so that Claire wouldn’t notice that something was strange again.
But my poker face was pretty bad.
Thankfully, we had plenty to talk about in regards to the fenrirs… I think Sebastian helped me out too.

Just then, Claire came out of the house and called to me, and my heart skipped a beat.
I managed to not shout in surprise, and turned around to face her.
It seemed the deep breaths didn’t even help me.
“Yes, Mr. Takumi.”
Claire smiled under the moonlight. She was so beautiful that I couldn’t believe that she was real.
Her hair was glowing, and she stood with such elegance, that I didn’t feel like I was the same species as her.
“…”
“Mr. Takumi? Is something the matter?”
“Ah, uh…no. I’m sorry. I was just a little… Uh, it’s nothing.”
“Really?”
She peered into my face.
This had happened to us before. Only, this time Leo was not around to look at me with exasperation.
But now that I thought about it, my feelings had been the same back then too.
Still, I shook my head and pretended to be calm.
“So, Mr. Takumi…”
“I’m sorry for calling you out here. I know that you’re busy. I just wanted to talk to you for a moment…”
I couldn’t help but apologize to her.
No, such words were not right for this moment…
I couldn’t be like that. For the sake of the Ms. Lyra, Leo and the others who were rooting for me as well.
Only Liza seemed like she didn’t fully understand…
