With a glance up, she saw a black sedan slowly driving out from the villa. Dong Xin Yan’s eyes lit up, and without thinking, she stepped forward and rushed over, blocking the front of the car.

The driver was startled by a slender figure suddenly darting out in front of the car but fortunately reacted quickly, as the car was moving slowly, he managed to hit the brakes in time.

A sharp "screech—" sounded, and due to inertia, Gu Ningyi’s body leaned slightly forward. He frowned deeply, lifted his eyelids, and his dark eyes fixed on the view ahead.

Separated by a short distance, through the windshield, he saw that woman who had left, standing in front of him once again.
