Chapter 730

Anton wasted his day hanging out with young elves. Unfortunately, they kept pestering him about the movie they would be watching that night, even though he kept reiterating that it would be best if they watched it spoiler-free. He also told the elves that he would remain in the kingdom only until all the things he had ordered were completed.

He could see that that statement alarmed the young forest elves. Apparently, they thought that Anton would be staying in the kingdom for a long time, and that meant that they could watch movies every night during his stay.

Since they wanted Anton to be happy while he was in their kingdom, which meant that there was a possibility that it might encourage the young Supreme Wizard to stay longer, they decided to bring him around to different artisans who sold different things like paintings and sculptures. They learned that Anton was highly interested in such things.

There were more than ten people in their group, including Anton, and they walked around to the market section with the elves leading Anton. He was highly amused that just like any race, the young forest elves, when they group together in a place where they deemed safe, would be noisy. Thankfully, the other elves just looked at them in amusement, especially when they saw Anton in the middle of them.

Enoril informed Anton that after watching the three Avatar films, the elves looked at Anton with favor.

The first shop they went to was a very large one that sold paintings and small sculptures. According to some of his new friends, the shop exported its products outside, and they were always immediately bought by the richest nobles.

Looking at the different paintings and sculptures, Anton could understand why. Even with his untrained eyes, every item looked extremely gorgeous.

Because Anton was currently being looked upon favorably by all of the elves, the one who owned the store told Anton that he could purchase anything that he wanted, up to twenty items. The merchant would have allowed him to purchase more, but the shop needed a lot of items to keep trading outside since they already had contracts with other kingdoms, and now could only spare a few.

Thankfully, his new friends assisted Anton in choosing the best ones among the displayed paintings and sculptures. After twenty items were chosen, Anton still had to pay 300,000 gold coins, and according to Enoril, he had already received a considerable amount of discount for that. That meant that the art that the forest elves produced was truly valuable. When Anton mentioned that he was also an accomplished enchanter, the owner of the shop gave him a sculpture of three maiden elves facing each other, holding their hands up in supplication, asking him to enchant it to receive an extra ten percent discount. He still had about a million gold coins left in his inventory, so Anton wanted to go around different shops to purchase more items.

Anton took a few minutes of his time to enchant the sculpture with the Frozen Orb air conditioner. When it was done, Anton switched it on to show it to the owner of the shop. The beautiful glowing ice orb that appeared on top of the sculpture, as if the three elven women summoned it were truly beautiful. The Frozen Orb started spewing out cold air, so after a couple of minutes, he switched it off. He then explained to everyone the purpose of the enchanted item.

He saw that everyone liked the item, and since he could create one in such a short amount of time, he told those who were interested that he could create one for them as long as they gave him two sculptures. One as payment and the other was the one they wanted enchanted, but he told them that he could only create around three each day, so they had to talk among themselves which ones would go first.

When Anton returned the sculpture to the shop owner, the elf turned it on to admire it. After learning how easy to fill up the mana storage, he could see the eyes of the elf gleamed and Anton knew that the elf would probably want to collaborate with him regarding enchanting more items, so Anton told everyone that he was not interested in entering the enchanting business and was currently in the middle of exploring the world. The elf merchant just sighed in disappointment.

Anton knew that the greatest advantage of his enchanted items was how visually appealing some of them were, especially the Frozen Orb air conditioner.

The rest of the day was spent by Anton buying different things made by the forest elves. things like clothes, pieces of jewelry, shoes, bags, and more art pieces. Thankfully, it seemed like the young forest elves with him found it amusing to help him select the best items, especially when they learned that all the things that he was buying were for himself and his family. He told the elves that he had no intention of selling any of the items he purchased, since if he needed gold coins, it was simple enough for him to delve into a high-level dungeon to collect mana stones, materials, and equipment from dungeon monsters.

When Anton mentioned delving into a high-level dungeon, he was highly surprised when some of the forest elves asked him about that. Apparently, most of them had not been to a high-level dungeon before, since they were not allowed to enter if they had not reached the required level. Anton then learned that Enoril and the others who followed him were mostly around level four or five of whatever class they had. They were actually in awe of him, who had reached the Supreme Rank at the age of nineteen.

Since Enoril and the others, including the beautiful Andevon and Nemerielle, were asking about the high-level dungeons, and he wanted to impress the two beautiful elven girls further since he still wanted to spend more nights with them, he gave them details of his adventures.

Anton did not even have to exaggerate since the deeper floors of a high-level dungeon were truly extremely dangerous, and only the most powerful could manage to explore them. They were fascinated to learn that the deeper floors of high-level dungeons would sometimes have different mechanics instead of straightforwardly killing the monsters.

He told them that having the ability to fly and teleport around greatly assisted him in defeating the dungeon monsters, and being specialized as a combat wizard helped a lot. He admitted that he was lacking in some of the more practical spells that a wizard of his level had, but Anton was proud of his combat abilities.

While they were shopping, Anton told them of his experiences, starting from when he and his family were in Rendindura. Since everyone was highly interested in his story, he continued telling it to the forest elves even while they took a break from shopping to eat lunch.

“Your life is like a movie!” Andevon said while looking at him with glittering eyes. That caused Anton to proudly lift his head, which caused everyone to laugh as intended.

“Joking aside, all the things that you and your family had experienced, the battles, the losses, the places that you’ve managed to reach are already fitting to be composed into an epic poem or song,” Nemerielle added.

“I know. I think that was also the reason I managed to reach my current rank. Without my power, we would not have survived,” Anton admitted.
